Excellent historic hotel; clean, convenient location, quiet and comfortable. All rooms are on the second floor and being an old historic hotel, has no elevator but staff is more than happy to help with bags if needed. Highly recommended.

The room was charming and comfortable for its size. I had read they were small. I had not anticipated not having a table or desk to sit at.There was a folding chair and tv table, but I even had trouble finding a spot to place that so I could eat a takeout meal. I arrived a few minutes after five to find a sign in a side door to text for a code. I had been hoping for help getting my suitcase up the insane staircase. Luckily, I was strong and steady enough to take it one step at a time. There was no previous information given about parking, but luckily the very friendly owner of the shop next door told me about the public lot behind the hotel for future use. There was a filtered water bottle filler in the hall, but the water still tasted bad. There were bags of ice in a tiny fridge beneath that, with no sign saying it was in there. In some of the advertising, a free breakfast had been mentioned. I'm not usually one for breakfast, however there was no mention of it ( or really much useful information ) in the room. There was a tiny coffee machine in the room and strangely small cups. One morning, I went out the front hoping to meet the owners finally and grab some coffee from the breakfast area. There were two people there. No coffee and certainly no breakfast in sight. Made a minute of small talk and escaped to a great place called The Local for breakfast.

The second night of our stay the new owners had a DJ in the court yard. The music was so loud we could not even be in our room. This lasted until 10:30 at night. This was our anniversary weekend and it was ruined by the new owners lack of caring about their customers. When management was told they apologize and told there was nothing they could do and this is what the new owners wanted. I wound recommend staying somewhere else. Maybe when the owners lose some money they will start to think about their customers and not trying to add a night club to down town Prescott. This was an amazing hotel when under the previous owners. Very sad to see a piece of history destroyed by new owners.

All rooms are 2nd floor via stairways. This is an older classic style stay. The mini split a/c unit struggled to keep room cooled. The shower spray was intense! Location was great for walking to garage and places to eat. The front desk is only staffed til 4p. Would be nice for chair (not folding) in room, and maybe a mini fridge.

I like the historical features of the Grand Highland hotel. He kept everything as close to the original as possible. My room was quiet, and had all the features I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable in the bathroom was clean. I was not there for spending time at a spa, I was there for the environment of the area. It was safe and I feel comfortable as a single traveler

We loved this room. It fit in with the atmosphere of the old west. The building is old, but well maintained and cute. We wanted a place within a short walk to shopping, restaurants and bars. It was exactly what we wanted.

The room was nice, the bed was a touch on the hard and had a valley in the middle. Also the walls are kinda thin, we could here noises from next to us and above us. However, it was in the middle of Whiskey Row and walking distance to lots of shops

This place was awesome!! Front desk person was super friendly. It was a very unique. We stayed in the Big Nose Kate room, clawfoot bathtub, nicely decorated. Big Nose Kate was the girlfriend of Doc Holiday.

Fabulous hotel on Whiskey. Host was super helpful. A really wonderful stay. It’s perfect. Don’t expect 4 or 5 star Luxury. But expect an old world hotel with a very comfortable bed and super clean and appointed room - and you’re in for a treat. Very Prescott. I was more than surprised. Highly recommend.

There's nobody to answer calls despite the fact that they text you a phone for emergencies. No, if you need emergency there's nobody to answer but an automated answering machine. The lobby is a place for ghosts, nobody there. The window for check in is super narrow. From 3 to 5 PM. All in all a ridiculous business model. I will never book this hotel for the rest of my life. Awful experience.

If you’re looking to stay on Whiskey Row this is the place. It’s right in the middle of it all, so it can get noisy, but great location. Bed was comfortable, service was great.

It’s not a quiet area at night, so if you like to stay up late you’re good. Rooms are small with very little counter space. Room was nice, bathroom was nice and everything is within walking distance.

I am going to be traveling up to Prescott for work a lot these next few weeks. I have stayed here previously, but this time around I was told that the continental breakfast is no longer available. I was hoping to continue to stay here because it is so convient and such an adorable place, but that is a game changer for me. Sorry to see the "free" food go.

The room was charming and comfortable for its size. I had read they were small. I had not anticipated not having a table or desk to sit at.There was a folding chair and tv table, but I even had trouble finding a spot to place that so I could eat a takeout meal. I arrived a few minutes after five to find a sign in a side door to text for a code. I had been hoping for help getting my suitcase up the insane staircase. Luckily, I was strong and steady enough to take it one step at a time. There was no previous information given about parking, but luckily the very friendly owner of the shop next door told me about the public lot behind the hotel for future use. There was a filtered water bottle filler in the hall, but the water still tasted bad. There were bags of ice in a tiny fridge beneath that, with no sign saying it was in there. In some of the advertising, a free breakfast had been mentioned. I'm not usually one for breakfast, however there was no mention of it ( or really much useful information ) in the room. There was a tiny coffee machine in the room and strangely small cups. One morning, I went out the front hoping to meet the owners finally and grab some coffee from the breakfast area. There were two people there. No coffee and certainly no breakfast in sight. Made a minute of small talk and escaped to a great place called The Local for breakfast.

Its a cool old building, the staff were all very nice and kind. The AC worked great, but the tub is really slippery when you are showering. The sheets were ichy and the bed a little soft and lumpy. For sure not the greatest but quaint and strange.
