Block away from the beach eazy walk past all the other hotels i should have stayed at

Front desk staff was friendly but not always in office and had to search for assistance when checking in and when card key did not work.

Very friendly staff! Pet friendly. Not U-Haul or trailer friendly. I was able to park in the back and detach my U-Haul into a space and park next to it. The area is a mix of locals and surfer hippies. Plenty of food choices less than 30 seconds to walk to. COFFEE is across the main road next to Vons. About a 2-3 minute walk but worth it for the doughnuts. THE HOTEL is NOT on the beach. It is situation at the beginning of the road, so it takes about 1-2 minutes to walk down. Any pictures of the rooms with a beach front view are the apartments that are down on the beach and you will need to reserve.

The room didn’t have any wash cloths or iron

As soon as I walked in it was bad, it was smelly, the curtain had a zip tide, there was no screen on the window, when I needed a towel there was nobody around, the front office was locked, I tried getting a refund but it was denied, I spoke with a person on hotels.com and said he can put $75 on key cash and that has not even been inputted, terrible service from the place and also hotels.com
