Goldmine Lodge

There is no way this place is a 7.8 rating - it is straight out of the 70s, nothing is clean, carpets are disguisting, a coating of dust on everything in the place, lights didn't work, door code panels don't work, bathtub not clean.

Room was spacious and clean. Hotel employees were welcoming and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again.

The property is pet friendly but has carpet which can be a problem for people with allergies that don’t have pets! ! Be aware!

Room was clean, easy check in, bed was comfortable.

We had no pets. The suite was tight for 4 people, with the sofa bed uncomfortable and limited access to the bathroom for those sleeping there. Many appliances were nonfunctional because of a non-working plug at the coffee/microwave station. Even with a working plug, the toaster did not work. THe toilet seat was stiff to manipulate. That said the other bed was comfortable, the heat was excellent as was the working fireplace and TV, and it was a great value for our family.
