Chalé é bem amplo, com diversos recursos. O único ponto que consideramos razoável foi a impossibilidade de regular o aquecimento, que deixou o ambiente muito seco. Como ficamos uma única noite, atendeu muito bem.

Unfortunately, my experience at Goldmine Lodge in Big Bear Lake was very disappointing. The first issue is that there is no staff member on-site. The check-in process consists of calling someone who could literally be anywhere in the world. I was then asked to text photos of my driver's license and credit card, complete additional paperwork, and send photos of the completed forms before I could finally receive the code to access my room. The entire process felt unnecessarily complicated, impersonal, and not particularly reassuring from a privacy standpoint. Once I arrived, I was equally disappointed by the condition of the property. The cleanliness was below expectations, and the overall appearance did not justify the nightly rate being charged. The property seemed neglected and lacked the level of care I would expect from a lodging establishment. Overall, I would not recommend staying at Goldmine Lodge unless it's truly your last resort—no pun intended. There are far better accommodations in the Big Bear area that offer a more welcoming experience, better service, and a cleaner environment for the price.

Not worth the money. Should’ve spent $20 and stayed at a decent place. The toiled didn’t flush, the room has all windows closed with 3 cheap fans spinning the hot stuffy air inside the room. Couldn’t even sleep so weird the place felt. All the decoration was crooked and or out of place. Just terrible. If it was $70/night it’s be good, but at $180, I’ll never come back.

I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken.
