Ice machines not working in any floor, room coffee maker didn’t work, hot tub closed. Otherwise beautiful grounds and spacious suite.

Our family stayed a night on our road trip. It was very clean and comfortable, staff were very nice and friendly. The pool and gym were nice and the property is lovely overall. I’d love to stay again should we visit Klamath Falls on another occasion.

They do not have a privacy available when asked. However they ask to see personal information like your drivers license. You have to walk outside and go to another building for the fitness center and pool, but it is a nice pool.

would like to visit again when we had more time - enjoyed the beautiful grounds and tennis and pickleball courts

I travel alone from Sacramento to Bend and this is a great place to stay, safe, great food and views, running trail, swimming pool and golf - I don’t golf but beautiful course

I love the running y but this time the sauna and jacuzzi were broken and I really wish I knew that ahead of time. Big bummer

Best place to stay in Southern Oregon…excellent views, accessible birding, great pool, amazing golf course, pickleball, trails, and the ice skating rink!!!! You won’t regret a stay at The Running Y!

We only got to stay one night but we are planning a return trip! The facility was really nice, peaceful and felt like home. The sports facility was great with a very large pool, basketball, pool table, and an amazing workout facility including free weights, etc. This is a worldmark location so there are some limitations if you are staying in the lodge vs. being a member. But overall loved it.

Looks great from outside but the rooms are really dirty and outdated. I once stayed in an old best western that was actually nicer than this place. Its a complete ripoff staying here! If the rooms were just $40 per night i still wouldn't recommend this place. Its sad because with updated rooms it would be a very nice hotel

This is a beautiful property with some nice amenities. The staff are courteous and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but there are minor signs of wear that need to be addressed. Our initial room had issues with the thermostat and the door casing in the bathroom was warped from excessive moisture. I requested to move to another room. The second room was much better, but also showed signs of wear-the toilet seat needs to be replaced. The restaurant on property is convenient and the food is good, but service was slow. There seemed to be only two staff members taking care of everyone during breakfast which resulted in slow service. It took 20 minutes to get my coffee. Overall it's the nicest place to stay in the area and it is beautiful. I would recommend this property.

Our room smelled like wet dog the entire stay.. Wallpaper was unraveling throughout the room, grout in bathrooms were definitely dirty, headboard in our room was scratched and not in good shape. Overall, staff was good but the room could have been much better if they’re trying to compete with a resort like Sunriver for instance. The property itself was dead, no stores except the convenience market was open. Overall probably wouldn’t come back.

The house was musty smelling, carpet dirty, big ants coming up through downstairs shower drain. Just not what we expected. The mattresses are also hard as a rock.

Found this place as a last minute stop. This property is gorgeous! We only stayed for one night, we will definitely be back. My only complaint was the smell from the cleaning supplies was very strong

Room was very clean and spacious. Great view and super friendly hotel staff. The in door pool and the spa were wonderful. A little bit of driving to all the great attractions, but it’s definitely worth it.

Property location was excellent with property amenities and love the Golf course. It would be extra ordinary if they can change there bed mattress and spring bed as it's very old and noisy.

the property is beautiful. We stayed on the 2nd floor, which I wish I hadnt. since they have vinyl floor covering, everything can be heard above you. I can see the benefit of vinyl for cleaning, but its not sound deadening. so theres a draw back. Our room was just average. The pics make them look homier. maybe its the lack of carpet. Shower had great water pressure. The bed was nice, and comfortable. Staff great. I would go again for a stay n play or something.

Nice views, but the fridge in our room had a knocking sound ALL night, both the service & food at the restaurant downstairs was horrible. Probably won’t stay again.

Great except for the 12:30am false fire alarm

Good: Serene surroundings, onsite restaurant, friendly servers, incredible shower pressure, comfy beds, good A/C, generous-sized mini fridge/freezer Bad: “Deluxe room with Mountain/Golf view” was situated atop restaurant’s unsightly and noisy mechanical equipment and view was partially obstructed, no balcony as Expedia photo depicted, no bathrobes as Expedia stated in description, no in-room microwave, non-working ice machine on 2nd floor, no water glasses or coffee/tea mugs in room. P.S. No fault of Running Y, of course, but be prepared for mosquitoes if planning to eat/relax on outdoor patio in the summer.

The main lobby of the lodge is nice but the room itself could use some updates. It was very stuffy and the old air conditioning unit didn’t do much to cool it off.

The location is really nice. The rooms are ok, but not as nice as the rest of the property. The staff is very friendly. They allow dogs and the one in the room next to ours was barking quite a bit. That was annoying.

Nice quiet location. Away from town. Staff seemed relatively nice. A bit on the high side price wise for accommodations. No microwave in rooms, old carpets, saggy mattresses. Nice workout room and walking trail.

We were supposed to have a balcony and we did not which was very disappointing. They had no other rooms available apparently. Our room was not great, smelled like it used to be a smoking room and was quite dated. Also, there is no lock on the side entrance to the building, anyone can just walk in.

We had a great overnight stay. Quiet, cozy and serene surroundings. Was nice to take an evening walk and see all the views and wildlife. Beds were very comfortable. We were a little confused when we saw the front of the lodge as it looks nothing like the photos here online when making my reservation. Also I paid a little extra for a “golf course” view. From the pictures I thought I was getting a balcony with a view of the golf course. We had a window with a tree right outside. Not much of a view and not worth spending the extra money to have a view. Next time when we visit I will know. Other than that we enjoyed our visit. You might want to update your photos.

The property itself is nice. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful. Unfortunately, the staff is either short handed, undertrained, or both. The check in process took longer than it should have and dinner service at the onsite restaurant, The Ruddy Duck, was the slowest I have ever experienced at any restaurant anywhere. Staff were apologetic to all the tables, but that did little to make up for the appallingly slow and inadequate service, especially given the price and atmosphere. It appears that they need more training, more staffing, and someone at the helm organizing and overseeing service. The trouble started when my partner and I were seated and it took over 30 minutes to be acknowledged by a server. A simple, dinner (two entrees and a glass of wine) turned into a nearly 2.5 hour ordeal. During our wait, the sun went down, the mosquitoes came out, and my partner gave up twice returning to our room to get work done until the food arrived. We contemplated leaving twice, but with few other dinner options in the immediate area, we stuck it out - a mistake on our part. With an effective management team, this place could be excellent, but as it is now, the restaurant especially offers a frustrating experience. Ultimately, I wish I’d stayed at the Best Western in town instead. We came here to rehab for a night after a particularly rough camping trip and ultimately just wished we’d stayed outside one more night.

Check in was at 4. We arrived early understanding we will most likely not get in until 4. We were turned away, we understood. Went to check in again at 4. Room still wasn\'t ready. Waited in the lobby for another 55 minutes DIRECTLY in front of, and in full view, of host who told us room was not ready twice. It was apparently because they were busy the night before and short handed and also because we have a suite... that puts us at the bottom of the list I guess. (Check out is at 11 am). Finally decided we were going to leave bags at desk to go have a beer. Host sees me approaching desk and says "let\'s get you checked in". I asked "how long have we been able to get checked in?" And when she had planned on letting us know? did not get a strait answer. Next morning 3 maids literally outside our room at 9:30 knocking to see if they can clean the room. Only had booked for 1 night Pretty let down by the experience. Felt lied too. Kinda put a damper on new years eve. Ruddy duck restraunt was decent. Kind staff food was ok

We gave this place another chance. Due to the rudeness of the front desk staff, we will not be coming back. There is no basic training on customer service, being nice and having a smile on your face. It really makes a difference. Maybe they have some sort of bias against people of color. Because they were quite chipper to greet the caucasian man in his Titleist hat that was before me. Also, every female that works at the Ruddy Duck, hosts, servers and bartender, were more interested in standing around gossiping as opposed to greeting guests. Literally stood right at the bar top in front of them for 2 mins before being regarded. The hot tub is worthless now that those jets don’t work like they used to. Overall not worth it!

We only stayed one night. I’ll say the person at the front desk was not really friendly. The first night we had a drink, and the waiter was nice enough. Room was fine. The next morning for breakfast the waitress was not very friendly at all to anyone. Possibly the golfing is good but we did not have time for that. All in all I would see no reason to really stay there.

Worst hotel staff in Klamath. The bleach blonde front desk worker is racist for sure. I witnessed it myself. She despises people of color. Restaurant is in need of serious workers. Chef sucks if they allow this quality of food to go out to the table, or to-go. Worst to-go, no utensils or napkins and quality was horrendous.

The property offers fantastic views of the golf course and the views of the golf course from the rudy duck's restaurant patio are amazing, especially at sunset. The service at Rudy Duck is lackluster though. The personnel tries its best but was overwhelmed - on the evening of our arrival we were not able to get dinner as the kitchen closed as the kitchen was under staffed. The following days were not much better - the next morning we waited a literal hour to get our breakfast order ready. This was a recurring problem for the rest of our stay - to the point that we decided to get our breakfast at the Market instead. I don't blame the staff but I blame the management to not have sufficient staff during the busy 4th of July week.

The pool and grounds were lovely. The lodge seemed to be chronically understaffed. The service from those present was great, it just would have been so much better with a few more people working the shifts, particularly at the restaurant in the main lodge.

Such a fantastic resort in an area with a quiet environment. The staff were super attentive. We will come back again for more than a 3-day trip. Loved it!

About 20 minutes from town for meals. Good-sized room and really nice lounge areas in lobby and each floor hall.

Remote quiet spot..

Great property. For a last minute booking we were very surprised. Great trails to walk with the dog. The golf course was amazing. Service at the restaurant was so slow and the food was just ok in the lodge. We did hear from other customers that the other restaurants were better. The BBQ truck at the golf courses was excellent. About a 45 minute drive to the south gate of Cater Lake National Park.

Hotel is very nice overall and staff are very helpful. Location is remote, being in the country and 15 minutes from town, but it is very quiet and beautiful. Rate is a little high but you do get what you pay for as we felt it was worth it overall.

We rented a 3br home which was spacious/comfortable. The kitchen had all utensils, pots/pans, but no basic cooking items like you expect when renting homes (salt, oil at least). That was my only negative. Bathrooms were clean. We had a washer/dryer, fast wifi, 2 televisions. We had a nice porch overlooking a creek. 2 parking spots. You have use of the sports facility, but its nice to walk as well. The restaurant there has good food, but be prepared to wait a long time. We were there for 1.5 hours for dinner, waiting for food over an hour. The food was good though and views were beautiful.

One of the best restaurants in town

3rd time staying here, 1st time during summer season. The staff are friendly. However the restaurant for both dinner and especially for breakfast was understaffed. For dinner took a long time but nice waiter and we weren’t in a hurry so made the most out of it. Breakfast, bar tender/waiter was very rushed, felt his stress and at times practically running back and forth. He was nice and the food was good. Basic items missing (had coffee, he was sure to bring creamer, asked for surgery and drank most of my coffee before he returned) had to stir w/my fork because no spoon was added w/the silverware bundled in the napkin. However, you can tell he cared to give good service to all. Would go back and stay again but may do something else for dining if I see they’re understaffed again.

Great resort in beautiful surroundings. The food options are limited and service slow at restaurant. Really great golf course and property.
