Stayed 1 night

I arrived worn out after 11pm. I was chargeg $20 more than quoted and the door lock did not work. The light turned green when it was swiped but did not open the door. When I went to the car to get my things twice, each time the receptionist had to use a key to open it In the morning when I went to eat (a very disgusting breakfast) I was made to wait 15 minutes for someone to open the door. When I returned home I called to complain about the price and additional aggravation of the door I was given a 10% refund. THE PRICE WAS THE SAME AS I HAD BEEN TOLD WHEN I CHECKED IN. APPARENTLY, THEY DIDNT THINK ME SPENDING AN EXTRA HALF HOUR AT THE FRONT DESK WAS WORTH ANYTHING! DO NOT STAY HERE.

When I checked in the attendant asked me to look at the room to see if it was OK. Bad sign .. the ceiling had mold that was sprayed over it. When I turned the heater on a borderline infestation of stink bugs came out from the curtains. The was also stained and worn furniture and the beds were hard as hell.

Hotel is under new ownership. Owners seem nice but the hotel needs a lot of updating. It was clean, but a fresh coat of paint, replacing doors, and possibly a new mattress would make the stay better, not just a mattress pad. There is no complimentary breakfast due to “covid restrictions”. Heat/AC system was struggling. Close to every thing we wanted to do in the area.

The room had a terrible smell and we found visible mold on the ceiling. We could not stay there because I have mold illness.
