Hotel Denim

This was such a unique and cute boutique like hotel. The denim robes are the best!! The area was nice with several nearby restaurants. The only area of improvement is the gym. It was extremely small with no treadmill or bike only a rowing machine. Otherwise great and I will definitely go back.

Loved the decor! And it's nice that they have a bar with food options. The free continental breakfast was also a plus. Will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable overnight at Hotel Denim. Parking is plentiful, and hotel is pretty standard from the exterior. Inside, however, is where it gets good. Staff was very friendly, and at check-in, you receive a token for a free beer or glass of wine. Nice little perk. Decor is funky and fun. Room was a good size, very comfortable, and quiet. This is not a chain, and I feel like the owner(s) have undertaken a labor of love - amenities are very thoughtful; espresso maker & pods in the room (!!). clothes steamer, individually wrapped loofah, robes (denim, of course), nice-quality toiletries, nice linens, fridge, and aesthetically pleasing fixtures (lights, faucets, furniture all very stylish). Good vibe all the way around, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

The front desk and maintenance staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Denim theme was novel and appropriate for the area. I will return to this hotel and recommend it to others. The rooms could have been improved with a coffee pot and a microwave. The expresso machine was an original idea; however, a coffee pot would have been much better. (Or have coffee in lobby 24/7)

Great hotel and location for my purpose. The parking lot was easily accessible and upon entering the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed - loved the hardwood floors better than carpet -- bathroom additionally was very clean - with marble sink and had added amenities for personal use. Plenty of soft fluffy towels - changing robes and a great mattress. Has a small bistro option for food in evening - but there are plenty of dining options nearby. Did not have the breakfast - so no comment on that. The hotel was overall beyond what I was expecting. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel - very impressed. Excellent place to stop if on a long journey and need a peaceful nights rest.

Very nice hotel! The renovations are great, love the bar and back patio, as well as the location - it’s close to everything.

Cool hotel in a decent location. Room was well designed and bed/pillows were very comfortable. My only comment is that the gym is tiny. They do offer day passes to a nearby facility. I used reciprocity from my YMCA membership to get my workouts in.

Parking was easy and close in front of hotel. Handicapped accessible. Hotel is close to restaurants and shopping center. Free breakfast offered. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Room was not ready, delay at check-in. Water press was vey low. Free breakfast was minimal, coffee, bagels, muffins, little fruit. Two free drink tokens was nice.

The decor was modern and I appreciated that but our bathroom was not clean. The sink was dirty. The shower doors hadn’t been wiped. The toilet nor shower were cleaned. It was if the cleaning staff forgot to do it. We went to the store to get disinfectant wipes to clean it. I wanted to really like this hotel because of the modern style but a clean bathroom is a must have.

The room was a bit small, but adequate. The hotel is very cute and and tastefully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. One big problem was the water pressure. Plenty of hot water, but the shower had the lowest water pressure I have ever experienced in a hotel.

Loved this place ! Super unique and eclectic design. Beautiful hotel. In a great location close to dining and coffee, we visited the children’s museum it was 12 mins away. Only con was bathroom cleanliness the shower could’ve been much cleaner. No other issues I will be back !

Dirty & DARK! *Room was not clean, crap was left on the toilet seat!* The elevators were frighteningly dark, especially for women & kids to be in them with strangers, the hallways were dark, and the room was MOIST & smelled like a MUSTY wet beach hotel - which is ABSURD because there isn’t even a pool to attribute the smell to. The hotel has a poor location surrounded by “rough” area and poorly taken care of roads. The hotel also has poor taste in decor, “art” of bare butts in the lobby restroom, dropped pants “art” in the room. The online photos are misleading. The room is NOT soundproof in anyway, the noise from other rooms and the hallway can be heard constantly. *The gentlemen that were running the front desk evening and morning were very pleasant, and that’s the only good thing about the hotel.

The bathroom in our room was dirty. Not what I was expecting looking at the pictures.

My only negative I can say is that the water pressure was not good in my room the shower was just not really adequate

Hotel was clean and welcoming. The guy that checked us in was friendly and professional. Room was very clean. Only issue was the shower door. It was off the track or something and was very hard to slide shut. Bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in in a hotel. Wasn’t to firm like most hotels I’ve stayed at. Very quiet. Didn’t hear neighbors or outside noise. Would definitely stay again.

The staff at the property were friendly and helpful. The parking was free. The hotel has a very cute, modern design. The hotel was also quiet which was nice. There were only two cons for this property: 1) the air conditioners in the rooms are RIDICULOUSLY loud at night. But in the summer, the rooms get so hot you have to have them on. 2) the grout lines in the bathrooms were really stained and mildewed. Other than that, I would certainly stay here again.

Love the environment. However having a room on the backside isnt my favorite. Old parking lot turned dump site. Not a good view at all.

Surprised by the style and quality of this hotel. It smelled nice upon entry, and was clean and stylish- especially considering the price. The beds were temperpedic- and super comfortable. The room had all you need big screen tv, fridge coffee excellent quality stuff Excellent temperature controls: an honest gem. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming into Greensboro.

The overall theme and rich decor of the hotel was definitely Insta-worthy. From the modern lobby & bar area to the elevator up to your room, every wall had some type of denim themed art. The room was modern and luxurious with a very comfortable bed. The problem I experienced was that in the remodeling of this hotel they did not spend the money to soundproof the rooms properly. Staying on the 3rd floor, I could hear the ice machine and voices in the hallway, even the person next door blowing their nose and using the bathroom. (thankfully I had an app on my phone so I could block out most of the noises) The shower could have been cleaner and the shower head's water speed was not adjustable. The staff was polite and not overly/fake friendly. Breakfast was minimal but the espresso machine in your room doctored up the normal coffee from the lobby. Overall, this hotel was very convenient to shopping, restaurants and events nearby, as long as you don't mind some noise, it's a good choice.

The stay was fine overall. We were in the room right outside the elevator and the ice machine which created for a noisy evening. The tile/laminate flooring while it looks good creates for some loudness from the room above you. A/C unit was very loud when on. Coffee and bagel was appreciated.

We felt like we lacked privacy. We could hear people in their rooms down the hallway while we were in our room. Regular volume conversations we're not private if someone was walking past your door.

Rooms too dark

I thought the hotel was going to be much bigger than it actually was. Rooms were smaller than average but the bed was comfortable and staff friendly

Check in was very easy and quick. Room was clean! The token for a drink was great!! Service was AMAZING. I would DEFINITELY stay again and recommend to my friends!! Great job staff for making me feel at home!!!

1/17/2024 around 10pm my daughters university heater, and hot water went out and had to evacuate. I immediately went to book her room at this cute hotel that I found online the booking was seamless. It’s when she got there she experienced the worst customer service ever in life. The front desk agent turned my daughter away due to her not being 21 years of age to check in although I did not see that on the website I went ahead and change the reservation to her friend who is 21. The agent stated that we didn’t have a reservation and that they needed to leave the property as soon as possible. I’ve been tried to explain to the agent what the situation was. He immediately yelled/cursed at me and said my daughter needed to leave. I told him I had a confirmation number he said that it’s third-party and that I need to deal with. Luckily I was able to get an amazing agent through Expedia who was able to call for me. He then lied and said that he was letting them check in but my daughter canceled the reservation. It’s now 12 AM and I’m scrounging trying to find my 19 year old daughter a place to sleep for the night. Needless to say I was able to get my money back through Expedia because the hotel refused me. I’ve never felt an urge to write a review, but this was flat out the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Plenty of parents go to see their children during school functions/graduations. I’ve already put this on the parents page to not come to this hotel due to the customer service.

Love the expresso machine in room! My favorite perk!!! If course the staff is exceptional, which is rare these days. This is my second stay here and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff. Truly went above and beyond. The rooms were clean and in good repair. I will always stay here when in the region.

We have stayed here repeatedly, so obviously we have good experiences in the past. However, this time we spent 3 nights, and on our last day we returned late in the evening to discover our room had not been cleaned and serviced. Very frustrating after a long day. The night manager was apologetic and gathered clean linens for us. The manager in the morning also apologized and said housekeeping would be informed. But we remain frustrated about the poor service and limited acceptance of accountability.

We really enjoyed our stay here!! The staff: Marcus, Jonathan, the maids, and Summer were extra professional and attentive! OUTSTANDING!!

Double charged me for everything, still unresolved. Bad part of town and felt like an institution rather than a hotel. Bad service. No one was at check out. Had to write a note to check out. Won’t be back.

Had do not disturb sign on door but it was ignored and maintenance was banging on my door at 8 am wanting to check batteries. This went on for an hour someone walked by and hit the door repeatedly. Made me very uncomfortable and when I reported it not h was done. Front desk chose to be rude and ignore my complaint.

Amazing staff, consistently!!! Obviously there is a great manager and owner that understand how to hire and train quality staff.

I was leary when I got there, as a single woman traveling alone the neighborhood looks a little questionable. I was so very wrong. This is an up and coming hotel who has made an excellent choice of where they are located. The staff makes you feel like family, hotel is fun and a little quirky, incredible clean. A definitive upgrade to chain hotels.

The hotel was beautifully designed. The room was eco-friendly, cleaned and spacious. The location was convenient to the stadium.

This is my favorite place to stay when working in downtown Greensboro! There is a Greenway Trail right across the street that is a safe place for a walk or run. Also, it is very nice to be able to park right in front of the entrance without having to pay for parking

Stayed here with my daughter the night before her freshman orientation at UNCG. Very convenient to the school. Comfortable bed and room. Didn't try any food or drink, but both were available. Nice independent hotel. I'm sure we'll stay here again when visiting our daughter.

This place was perfect for my needs. The staff was very friendly, although it took a few days for the manager to come up and fix my room safe, which wasn’t working when I checked in. There’s a very small continental breakfast, but they do have a small menu for an upcharge—although I found their small continental breakfast to be fine. The hotel is next to a construction site, but it wasn’t loud. Overall, the rooms were well appointed, the coffee in room was good. The vibe was upbeat. I would recommend it.

Overall Hotel Denim is a great place to stay, especially for the convenience of visiting the Greensboro Science Center, Bicentennial Gardens and local restaurants. Teri, in housekeeping is one of the most friendly and accommodating people I’ve ever encountered at any hotel. And the hotel is very clean. Wonderful job! The only thing I’d suggest for the hotel is to at least have a toaster and maybe some bread choices, available at the very small continental breakfast you offer. Not everyone likes a heavy bagel for breakfast. The fruit was good though. Would definitely stay here again.

Probably the best Hotel experience I’ve had in a while. All the staff have been wonderful. The hotel is cute and quaint. It is in a great location Just 6 minutes to the UNCG campus. Great vibe, location and customer service. The only thing that is just meh is the breakfast . I think they could have some better options. Not everyone likes bagels and blueberry muffins. Other than that I will definitely stay here again.

Our room was thoughtfully arranged with enough outlets for charging devices, good lighting, comfy bed, thick fluffy towels. Breakfast could be improved by having a toaster available, better choices such as cereal, milk, yogurt.

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Light breakfast of muffins and bagels with cream cheese, and coffee. Shower pressure is very weak and they do not recycle. A nice surprise was the complimentary glass of wine or beer in the afternoon.
