Clock Tower Inn Berne

Everything went well as planned for the most part. The water pressure in the shower was very weak and the bathroom door was hard to close. It appears that the top hinge has issues. The bathroom also needs an exhaust fan because the mirror would steam up pretty quick from the shower. I belive that we stayed in the same room about a year ago and the issues that I've pointed out haven't changed. Additionally, we stay here several times a year because we have family in Berne that we are visiting. I have noticed that the breakfast doesn't have some of the same food options as it once had like some fruit or maybe some simple bakery items. The orange juice option has been "out of order" for well over a year.

This was a last minute trip. We arrived after 10pm but before 11pm. I was taken back by the check-in kiosk instead of a person. As a technology manager, I thought it was interesting but as a tired traveler I found it to be impersonal and took longer than it should which left me annoyed. The room itself was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It is not a modern hotel which for a small town one shouldn’t expect. I did not use any of the amenities due to our short stay. There was a person in the am that checked us out in a jiffy. If I was in the area, I would probably stay there again.

Got woke up with snoring in the adjoining room. Low water pressure in shower.

We have stayed at this hotel over 40 times. It is not as well kept as if used to be and the front desk is no longer staffed in the evenings which is just crazy to me. Check in is done through a video with a virtual agent. Just not the same pleasant service and friendly atmosphere as in years past. It doesn't appear that the maintenance is being kept up with quite as meticulously as it had been in the past. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet throughout the night.

We couldn't get breakfast,we had to leave earlier.we usually go to church,a wedding,or funeral,so we can't stay until 8.30
