The bathrooms need an exhaust fan. The tub/shower had no grab bars or grip tape. There is no microwave or coffee maker. There is a kitchen downstairs and you need to bring your own stuff. The beds were not particularly comfortable, but that may be a factor of my age since my son thought they were OK

Property is like a huge mansion with 14 individual rooms, large common areas that include a very large kitchen, dining room, living area, including a basement level with a ping pong table and games. Even though we were a couple, we could appreciate the spaciousness of the property and ample personal space in the room. The stay felt less like a hotel and more like an Airbnb or Vrbo because check in was virtual. Even though I do like having staff on site, it was easy to text to get an answer to any of our questions. My wife would've appreciated a hair dryer in the room. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Poor lighting on the outside of building..We were not sure if we were in the right spot We did not know were to find our room 5 , it would have been nice to know 5 was upstairs in the text message about how to enter. The small trash can in the room was full of trash when we arrived and only 1 trash also behind beds

It was a fun little room with a big kitchen to share with the other guests and game room in the basement. The only thing that would have been nice is a dvd player or tv to watch with out signing in all the apps

Check in information provided in plenty of time. Locating my actual room proved challenging as the floors were numbered on the European system not the American system. It would have been nice if the instructions had included information on how to lock the room from the outside. I did figure it out eventually. The room itself was large, clean and airy. Tiny mini fridge with no freezer section. Did not use the cooking facilities provided.

No lights in parking lot. Very difficult to find the place at night. No coffee makers in the room. No glasses in the room so you couldnt take a drink of water. The bed was very large and high, it was hard to get on the bed.

Large kitchen to make your own meals since very little options in town to eat out. Grocery store across the street. No staff on site, you check yourself in. I was not aware of this when we went to check in. Once we understand no problems. We had received a notification but since very little cell service in the area I did not receive the information needed after I had called a number we were given

This place was awesome! We didn't take advantage of all the community amenities since we only had time to sleep but we wanted to! This would be perfect for a large extended family trip to Capitol Reef. Everyone has their own room but can hang out in the common areas. We really appreciated the upkeep, the cleanliness, and the thoughtfulness. They didn't just provide the minimum like so many hotels. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The room was nice - very clean - beds very comfortable. Two things I didn't like - the windows in our room were facing the lobby/dining area. The lights were on all night out there so it was too light in our room and it made it really hard to sleep. The other thing I didn't like was there was no hair dryer. EVERYBODY has hairdryers in the rooms so I didn't bring one and it was very frustrating.

This was a different experience for us. We haven't stayed at a place where there wasn't staff at the front desk and around the hotel. It was nice and quite which was great for us. The room was clean and comfortable.

Weird place. Our first room had not been cleaned. Poor communication as everything is done over the phone via text. Had difficulty getting into a property. Definitely would not recommend.

This was the perfect "off the beaten path" stay. It had everything you want in a room (tv, fridge, etc.) and had the cleanliness you expect from a hotel/Inn. I would recommend a stay here for anyone traveling.

What a hidden gem! This property is clean and comfortable. Their air conditioners are the quietest i have ever had. TV is huge! I would definitely stay here again.

WiFi has weak signal so the TV is useless. AC unit was broken. Nobody around to advise of issues. Check-In process is 5 Stars! Everything else was good.

This is the first time we have utilized on of these self check-in places. Once we were settled in after a phone call to access the property, we found a pleasant enough room. TV was difficult to use (too techy for some older folks- i.e. the remote). Room was cold and thermostat did not work (had to call and get help). Someone came over to assist us. She was able to turn off the main blower somehow. Used a space heater from main area to heat the room to a comfortable temperature. Bed was very nice. Was not able to regulate shower water temperature. Water faucet was frozen in place (could not be adjusted). Only one option temperature - rather hot. You could not turn it up or down. The sink water spigots were reversed from normal (right side hot, left side cold). We were in room 114. Just a little different for us, but nice accomodations barring a few challenges.

The room was in the basement!!!, without a window. The AC was incredibly loud, and there was no hairdryer. First and last time. That being said, it was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Check in information provided in plenty of time. Locating my actual room proved challenging as the floors were numbered on the European system not the American system. It would have been nice if the instructions had included information on how to lock the room from the outside. I did figure it out eventually. The room itself was large, clean and airy. Tiny mini fridge with no freezer section. Did not use the cooking facilities provided.

Weird place. Our first room had not been cleaned. Poor communication as everything is done over the phone via text. Had difficulty getting into a property. Definitely would not recommend.

Large kitchen to make your own meals since very little options in town to eat out. Grocery store across the street. No staff on site, you check yourself in. I was not aware of this when we went to check in. Once we understand no problems. Road creek inn is a travel style motel. Its a boutique setup, older and a little ageworn. Overall it was a nice room. The are a contactless facility so I cant speak about the staff. I would stay there again if i ever go to fishlake again. 25 minutes from fishlake and capitol reef national park.

Poor lighting on the outside of building..We were not sure if we were in the right spot We did not know were to find our room 5 , it would have been nice to know 5 was upstairs in the text message about how to enter. The small trash can in the room was full of trash when we arrived and only 1 trash also behind beds

This was a different experience for us. We haven't stayed at a place where there wasn't staff at the front desk and around the hotel. It was nice and quite which was great for us. The room was clean and comfortable.

No lights in parking lot. Very difficult to find the place at night. No coffee makers in the room. No glasses in the room so you couldnt take a drink of water. The bed was very large and high, it was hard to get on the bed.

This was the perfect "off the beaten path" stay. It had everything you want in a room (tv, fridge, etc.) and had the cleanliness you expect from a hotel/Inn. I would recommend a stay here for anyone traveling.

The bathrooms need an exhaust fan. The tub/shower had no grab bars or grip tape. There is no microwave or coffee maker. There is a kitchen downstairs and you need to bring your own stuff. The beds were not particularly comfortable, but that may be a factor of my age since my son thought they were OK

This place was awesome! We didn't take advantage of all the community amenities since we only had time to sleep but we wanted to! This would be perfect for a large extended family trip to Capitol Reef. Everyone has their own room but can hang out in the common areas. We really appreciated the upkeep, the cleanliness, and the thoughtfulness. They didn't just provide the minimum like so many hotels. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Property is like a huge mansion with 14 individual rooms, large common areas that include a very large kitchen, dining room, living area, including a basement level with a ping pong table and games. Even though we were a couple, we could appreciate the spaciousness of the property and ample personal space in the room. The stay felt less like a hotel and more like an Airbnb or Vrbo because check in was virtual. Even though I do like having staff on site, it was easy to text to get an answer to any of our questions. My wife would've appreciated a hair dryer in the room. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Everything felt just a little dirty. I dropped something under the bed and noticed it was pretty dirty down there (why didn’t they vacuum under the bed?). The bathroom had grime in various corners. The shower floor looked permanently stained a brownish yellow. The hand soap smelled awful and had had water added to it to appear to be full. Of course we got the one room that had windows facing the inside of the building. An opaque layer had been placed over the windows to give some privacy (minus the tear in it that was totally see through). Because of the windows, the room felt like it was as bright as day at night (which made it very difficult for our baby to sleep). The rest of the room and facility felt basic and more-or-less clean. Overall, it was a place to stay and a reasonable cost.

Overall, the road Creek Inn is a good place to stay that is out of the way of the tourists around capital Reef National Park. We stayed in the family suite and found the room to be clean with enough space to spread out nicely. The central kitchen area was available for everyone to use and appeared to have all the necessary things to cook a meal. The entertainment area in the basement has a ping-pong table, a seating area with large screen TV, and a separate movie room with a large screen TV. Some new ping-pong, paddles, and balls are needed. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that there is no hotel staff available on site. If you needed something, you had to message them through the hotels.com app or call a phone number that was provided. Check-in was easy. We received an email and message in the app with our door code.

Having a kitchen to prepare meals was great! There is a grocery store across the street. Not many restaurants in Loa. The common areas were a great place to gather the family! It would have been nice to have an ice machine and a drinking fountain. The bed was comfortable. The soap in our bathroom was very liquid, like someone added water to it to make it go farther, a bit annoying.
