I really don’t understand why the beautiful main entrance to this hotel is still closed since Covid. You have to park in the parking garage, go check in and get a luggage cart, then back to the parking garage to get your luggage! If the main entrance was open it’s just a few steps to check in…

It's hard to get to the hotel. Several parking lots closed off. Signage is poor or non-existent regarding where to go or park. You have to drag your luggage through a parking ramp, down an elevator, through a hallway, and then up another elevator to get to the room. They treat you like a criminal. In order to use a luggage cart, you have to leave the desk clerk (orange hair) your driver's license. You get your license back after you bring the cart back to Orange hair, who takes it to a room behind the front desk slowly…while you wait. He then gives your license back. Is it a bad neighborhood? Do people steal these carts? The casino is great, good bartenders, good hotel rooms.

The room was not cleaned very well. You could see the dust on everything and the bathroom sink was still dirty from the last guest. I had to clean it up myself and that should never happen. The bed was very comfortable, and the employees were fantastic. Just disappointed that the room was as dirty as it was.

The hotel lobby is very inviting, the staff is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean, nicely updated and the beds are very comfortable. Now for the shower - it’s amazing!

Property in general was well-kept. Service was good and our meal at The Beerhouse was excellent. The website advertised free breakfast, but no one could tell me where that was. The room appeared very clean, but when the toilet room door was closed, there were dirty panties and socks behind the door. I told the front desk when we checked out. No apologies although she assured me she would inform housekeeping!

From first impressions the hotel appeared to be a very nice place to stay. We were there for a wedding and the function area was very nice, however, the hotel room was not cleaned every day. No towel change on the days that room was not cleaned. When I went to reception I was told to dial 0 the following morning and someone would bring fresh towels. I couldn't get through on phone so went to reception to be met with another member of staff that was helpful and went to the back room to get a fresh supply of towels. She was surprised that the staff member I previously spoke with did not do the same. We stayed on the ground floor with patio area. There were cigarette stubbs on the floor and wall under hedge. Patio area dirty, not swept and did not appear to be very well maintained. There is nothing close by this hotel if you are looking to explore you definitely need a car

Have to drive through a very rough party of the city to get here, and when you arrive at the hotel, there's no easy access to unload/load cars- you have to park in a parking spot in the lot or the garage and take your chances wheeling the rickety luggage racks through the potholed lot or in and out of several elevators coming from the garage. It was noisy- the first night we stayed was one of the worst nights of sleep I've ever had - there was some woman on the floor below us 'WOOOO'ing all.night.

Awful check in experience, initially tried to check in at 3:45 (which I do recognize is 15 mins early) was told there was an issue with my room and it was saying on the computer out of service. Clerk said they would text when ready, waiting until about 4:45 to get an eta & was told they technically could take until 6pm but my room would be ready in 45 minutes. Waited for the text notification & came back about 5:50pm - the clerk look surprised and said the room just happened to just become available. When all was said & done got in the room about 6pm (with a 4pm check in time) & was almost late arriving to a show.

The young "man" at the desk with dark hair was extremely rude, condescending, smart mouthed and dismissive. His possible personal negative feelings about people darker complexioned than him should not interfere with him doing his job in a professional manner. Put him on garbage where his hidden talents might be better suited. He's NOT a good face for such a beautiful establishment!

Filthy ice machines on guest floors. Staff was un accommodating and not helpful. Very limited dining, no breakfast room service. TV in room didn’t work and Steve would do nothing to help. The casino, however, was great. Casino floor staff and floor managers were also very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m only posting negative review about the hotel side.

Nice property, but it’s located away from the downtown and sports activity areas, as well as the airport (25-30 miles). Also a $50!cab ride from the airport.

There should be a disclaimer that your dining options are limited on certain days of the week on the hotel property and if you drive off property to find a store and/restaurant you are not driving in the greatest area.

As nice as hotel might be. The area was not so nice. At all... never been to St Louis so was unaware of the not so nice parts of town. Not alot of dining choices there and the few they had weren't even open half the time in hotel. Internet was horrible in hotel... Overall was so disappointed for the price paid. Hotel is pretty much strictly for gamblers. Not very close to other attractions in town...or nice dining options in town. Hotel itself was nice and all the employees were nice. Location location location

Picked this hotel because of the location as I had an event to attend at Grant’s Farm so didn’t want to be in downtown St. Louis. I assumed a hotel/casino would have multiple options for dining, cocktails, and shopping. Not so here. Learned at the time of check-in that their nicer restaurants are only open Friday - Sunday! Staying on a Tuesday and Wednesday meant we were relegated to a single option with uninspired options. Drive to a restaurant in the surrounding area? You’ll be driving for a while, as the entire surrounding neighborhood is massively depressed with most storefronts abandoned.

Our dinner at 1904 Steak House and the 38 Special concert was fantastic at River City Casino. Our overnight stay in one of their very clean & fresh smelling two double-bed rooms was great!! :-)

No breakfast or coffee on campus until after 7 am. The front desk staff is just this side of useless….of the four questions I asked during my three night stay, they couldn’t answer any of them, and offered no assistance in finding out. The smell of skunky pot reeks throughout the hallways and I swear it’s coming out of the AC vents. I ate at three of the restaurants and although the staff was friendly, the food was microwaved and bland.

Great option to the typical brand name hotels. Much nicer service with much cleaner rooms and free parking. Wish they had more restaurants open. All the good ones were closed due to a Tuesday night.

Room was clean and quiet. Everything was great until we tried to shower the next morning and we had no hot water which sucked. Overall it was a nice place loved the tv screen in the mirror of the bathroom.

This was my first visit to your esteemed establishment. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance upon entering, as it evoked a feeling reminiscent of Las Vegas. Emoni at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in providing recommendations for dining and local attractions. Regrettably, the room assigned to us was not the one I had reserved, which was a bit perplexing, but the room we received was satisfactory. I would like to suggest, given the array of restaurants within the hotel, that consideration be given to placing a microwave in each guest room or in the vending area on every floor. This would greatly benefit guests who have leftovers and wish to warm up items such as the breakfast pastries sold in your restaurant. During our stay, we unfortunately misplaced a cellphone in the casino area. Although it was not recovered for approximately ten hours, the staff consistently assured us that it would be located. As you can appreciate, misplacing an item of value can make it difficult to focus on other matters. To our immense relief, the phone was found in the fourteenth hour by your security team. I would like to extend a significant commendation to security guards Jacqueline (Jackie) and Samad (Mo). Mo personally delivered the phone to us. We were incredibly delighted and grateful for its recovery. Thank you both sincerely. Following this incident, we were able to fully enjoy the remainder of our stay. The food at the Sports Bar restaurant was delicious, particularly the wings,

The room was very clean . However , the hotel charged me $30.00 & when I called to ask why ..the staff member replied someone had mistakenly charged me for a pillow and would be crediting the money back to my account . And , the 1 staff member forgot to give me my drivers license back when I returned the luggage cart .
