All except being on ground floor and hearing people above walk around (crunching sounds - sounded like ceiling was coming down in the middle of the night!), this hotel was perfect for a travel stopover. Refrigerator and micowave in room. Nice, clean, comfortable king bed, decent breakfast, big screen TV in lobby.

Exterior and lobby of hotel felt a little dated. Check-in was fine. Staff was cordial. Area around hotel felt safe. Hallways seemed updated. Room was comfortable. AC worked and bedding was relaxing. Breakfast in the morning was decent. Pool area looked clean but we didn't use it. Overall an okay stay and would have no problem staying here again when passing through town.

No trucks allowed parking on the lot or towed at owner’s expense. The one thing I did not like about this place is it did not offer welcoming truck parking for like a 3500 HD 1 ton and a 47 foot trailer. They wouldn’t even allow U-Haul trucks on the property had I known I wouldn’t have booked the hotel. They only allowed parking on the east side of the property on the side of the road enough room for maybe three semi trucks.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Easy check in and out. The only problem was there weren’t enough towels. It was a bit expensive for the location since it’s not close to any attractions or shopping. There is a very expensive seafood restaurant next door and a Walmart across the highway and lots of fast food. The pool was very clean and opened early for a quick swim before checkout.

This facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast (they were out of hot tea, though) and the hotel guests were nice also. I highly recommend this hotel. Only an hour from Jackson.

The people were great. The room had multiple problems. The thermostat display was broken. The AC unit drain plug was clogged so there was a smell of mold and the carpet was wet under the unit. The TV didn’t work until maintenance came and reset the unit. The hot water took 5-7 minutes to warmup for a shower.

I was very satisfied with front desk service. The lady who does the kitchen was very rude. I arrived early and there wasn't any rooms ready so I asked if I could use the microwave and sit and eat while I waited. The lady said it was no problem but as soon as we got our food to heat it up, the kitchen lady says... I need y'all to get out so I can mop the floor and when we told her we had permission she still made us leave out and locked the door. I came there for a funeral and was tired from driving 10 hours. However the front desk hurried and got us a room ready so that we could eat and rest so I made sure to tip her for her excellent service. I did notice the next morning there were some late eater's that were not asked to leave the kitchen while the same lady was cleaning again. Other than that I would have given 5 stars

Overall hotel was nice and clean. We did not have enough towels or washcloths. Not enough pillows or bedding for sofa bed. When I went to front desk and asked for these items, I was told "we are out" and never received these items over our 2 night stay.

The staff was so helpful and nice. We were not able to get a rental car in Jackson Mississippi, even though it was prepaid. The staff at the hotel held our room and tried to reimburse us for the night we missed, but we’re unable to reimburse us due to the Expedia policy, but they at least tried.

Everyone was kind. Our family had two rooms. Only issue was that the tvs in both rooms were on the wrong input so you couldn’t change the channel. Told the front desk and they had someone up with th right remote to fix it within 5 minutes. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was great. Definitely stay here again if we are passing through.

There is a very expensive seafood restaurant next door and a Walmart across the highway and lots of fast food. The pool was very clean and opened early for a quick swim before checkout.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with directing us to a great restaurant in the area! Complimentary breakfast was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be staying here again!

Bathroom was not clean, carpet was nasty & mattress was not comfortable. Check in was difficult & lengthy. Stay was noisy. However, breakfast was good & check out was smooth.

This facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast (they were out of hot tea, though) and the hotel guests were nice also. I highly recommend this hotel. Only an hour from Jackson.

The excessive signage in lobby and dining area “rules” both unprofessional and disrespectful to guests. Very limited breakfast choice. Room not serviced throughout stay although I was paying premium rate! Will not stay here again!

Walked in and it smelled like a couple cans of Lysol was used in the lobby. Front desk not very welcoming. Felt like we were bothering her with our arrival. Morning staff was much better with smiles. The room smelled as well, but we had Fabreeze to help. Bathroom had repairs done but not completed with paint and drywall dust pile left on the floor. The condiments (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) were enough for a child. Soap smelled amazing, however. The refrigerator kept us up most of the night as it was very loud. Hallway, lobby area was noisy and it felt like people were right outside our door. This place was chosen because of the high rating, yet I saw nothing that deserved the rating of 9.2. Will not stay here again.

Breakfast was just fair, waffle machine broken Most importantly, there wasn't a rm avail like I reserved with 2 queen beds. There were 2 children and 1 adult. We were suppose to have 2 queen beds and instead got 1 queen and 1 sofa, not ideal for the guest that were sleeping. Whose fault is that?

This hotel used to compare to stays another areas, but over the last decade or so it has aged a bit and is due for a makeover. It’s noisy at night until about 11 PM with people coming and going. Still safe, still very clean! Considering what Magee has to offer this may still be the best reasonably priced stay.
