The room was big however the pillows were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty around the shower. There was black mold around the shower bed all the way around. Many of the tiles the grout had visible mold, which made it very uncomfortable to shower in. The sink light did not work had to turn on other lights to be able to brush my teeth as the lights were not working. Mentioned to staff at front desk mold all around shower bed mold visible on tiles no efforts no remarks no apologies for the deplorable cleanliness of the room. Breakfast was OK no frills no thrills pretty much the same breakfast every day. Would recommend doing deep cleaning in the rooms especially the bathrooms with all the visible mold it makes it for a very uncomfortable stay will give the hotel a five out of 10, simply for the lack of cleanliness of the rooms.

Really nice place and well appointed. Only issue was parking was very expensive ($40 per day) and was not disclosed at time of booking. Breakfast is good, room is very nice.

The front desk staff wasn't familiar with the neighborhood or the other nearby hotels, all within walking distance of the Homewwd. Nor were the bellmen knowledgeable about the area and the University campus. There was NO WATER for showering or washup/shaving, most of TUESDAY!!! No one said anything about it except put a note in the elevators that no one even cared to notice, since nowadays people, once they get inside the elevators, look at their smartphones or talk with each other about their next appointment/event. I had a similar experience in China at a Marriott property during wintertime due to a water supply line burst from extremely low temperatures, with no sunshine. Not only did the hotel GM personally apologize to each and every guest near the main door, but they also REFUNDED the room charges to everyone! This is called HOSPITALITY and taking care of the cliens/guests.
