Very convenient location, and pet friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, and pest-free, and included micro and fridge. This is not a luxury hotel, but it makes up for it in a hassle-free, convenient, no-driving unless you really want to, experience.

The owner lives on property and is very attentive to your needs. It is conveniently located in short walking distance to restaurants and is close to the boat ramp. There is wifi available. The refrigerator worked well and was already cold. If all the spots are not taken, you may park your boat trailer on property. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning works very well. You may be able to get a late check out if no one has booked your room for that day. Keep in mind, while this is not a modern 5 star hotel, it is very good for the price as rooms can be quite expensive in down town Cedar Key.

The property is not maintained and dirty around the area. The room was clean but very dated and worn. There are no amenities. When I turned the light on in the bathroom the bugs scattered! I would never recommend to anyone, unless your standards are low.

The property was clean and the staff was working hard to make everything ok. However, they were very short staffed and the property showed signs of barely recovering from the last hurricane damage. Location was good. On property parking was limited but there appeared to be good on-street parking. Near dock front area.

The lady at the front desk was the sweetest! Our room was clean, checking in was a breeze, as well as checking out. There was street parking as well as regular parking. There was chairs in front of each room as well as two different balcony areas (shared with everyone) with seating for hanging out or whatever you wish.

Quirky hotel that fits perfectly with the Cedar Key vibe...as for mod cons..wi fi,a/c and tv all work well...two minutes to beach,shops,fishing pier and thirty seconds to the 2nd St Cafe,best breakfast in town.

This motel needs lots of repairs; interior and exterior. It is extremely cluttered, lots of cats at the registration door, dirty appearance. The full size beds were very soft, but worked fine and curtains barely covered the window. The carpet was old and stained. Air conditioning was a window unit with very few electrical outlets; none in the bathroom area. Would NOT stay here again.

For a place that seems to be on the verge of falling down, I will say it seemed clean. Otherwise it was pretty awful. Mold on the ceiling and everywhere around the shower. Flooring warped and curling up. Peeling wall paper. Broken window in the bath with a duct tape "repair". Stairs and balcony felt unsafe. Place really needs a bulldozer.

The property was the worse I've had the unpleasure to stay in. It smelled of pee, A/C was very noisy and the bathroom door was falling apart, paint spatter all over it, no trim and the toliet was not properly attached to the floor. There was also a broken down car parked outside that the owner said was her daughters and it doesnt work, well move it cuz it was taking up a parking space for actual customers. To top it off, they started cleaning or something at 6 AM!! Totally horrible

bath tub was filthy, there was water on the floor around the toilet, it must of been leaking at the base. no ice was available. there was an offensive odor outside near the office. I would not stay at the Cedar Inn again.

The balcony walkway was very dirty with dog food scattered around- very unsanitary. The room was clean but carpeting was old & musty. The deck was in need of repair with floor boards broken. Won’t be staying there again but you get what you pay for!

Cedar Inn is a no-frills, 1950s style motel. Excellent value for the price. Management is friendly and you may meet Mo the Cat, a beautiful yellow fellow. Do not expect new furniture, recent exterior paint job, The 'ocean view' is from a deck upstairs, with a distant glimpse of the sea ... but it's just a short walk to water, in a charming town.

It did have a microwave and mini fridge, but no coffee maker. Small room and bathroom, but perfectly adequate for a few nights. Beds were comfortable, and staff was friendly.

The inn is old and dated. However, they are working on it. The LVP floors are very nice and the memory foam beds are good. The bathroom needs a lot of help, but it is clean. Thefurnishings look new. My sister and I felt safe and secure.

We were aware that this was not a fancy motel but we were a bit shocked by the holes in the laminate floor and the window in the bathroom missing a large uneven piece of glass. The beds were comfortable and the AC kept the room cool, even if it was very loud. We arrived before 6pm but reception was closed with a note that the key was in the room, which worked just fine. Also when we were leaving Sunday morning the reception was closed.

My wife has mobility issues. She can walk with a cane some but uses a wheelchair on longer outings. That's why we selected the Cedar Inn. Right in the middle of everything and easy level wheelchair pushing. We were in touch with the owner and she provided us a ground level room. Yes, the Cedar Inn is not a brand new place. And it did go through a Hurrican last year. We selected it because of location and were not disappointed.

My wife has mobility issues. She can walk with a cane some but uses a wheelchair on longer outings. That's why we selected the Cedar Inn. Very comfortable stay for two nights, met a cool orange cat named Moe as soon as i got out of my truck, found him very welcoming as he followed me upstairs, the lady in office was Deb was very nice as well, place could be fixed up but was clean and comfortable, will stay again next time in Cedar Key!!

The beds were comfortable and the AC kept the room cool, even if it was very loud. We arrived before 6pm but reception was closed with a note that the key was in the room, which worked just fine. Also when we were leaving Sunday morning the reception was closed.

Cedar Inn is a no-frills, 1950s style motel. Excellent value for the price. Management is friendly and you may meet Mo the Cat, a beautiful yellow fellow. Do not expect new furniture, recent exterior paint job, The 'ocean view' is from a deck upstairs, with a distant glimpse of the sea ... but it's just a short walk to water, in a charming town.

Quirky hotel that fits perfectly with the Cedar Key vibe...as for mod cons..wi fi,a/c and tv all work well...two minutes to beach,shops,fishing pier and thirty seconds to the 2nd St Cafe,best breakfast in town.

Older motel but very clean rooms and the perfect location!!! Will definitely stay again. Love the local kitty that came to visit us daily.

If you're here for waterfront luxury, you're in the wrong place. If you're down for quirky, quaint & rustic this is your spot. It's a fishing village that's suffered some recent storm damage. This is a vintage motel with just the basics. The innkeeper is friendly & southern hospitality abounds. The ground floor room was clean with the exception of the tub which needs to be completely replaced due to age & likely storm damage. Bathroom area is very tiny, about the size of public restroom stall. Modern conveniences are limited to AC, cable, wi-fi, & a lamp with USB ports. No hair dryer. No nearby chain stores or fast food. Liquor & convenience stores are both walking distance. The nearby restaurants, bars, & shops are fun, a 5 min. walk & EVERYONE is friendly. I recommend this spot as long as you don't expect or need fancy.

The owner lives on property and is very attentive to your needs. It is conveniently located in short walking distance to restaurants and is close to the boat ramp. There is wifi available. The refrigerator worked well and was already cold. If all the spots are not taken, you may park your boat trailer on property. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning works very well. You may be able to get a late check out if no one has booked your room for that day. Keep in mind, while this is not a modern 5 star hotel, it is very good for the price as rooms can be quite expensive in down town Cedar Key.

We love this little motel. Its nothing fancy, but everything needed to enjoy a weekend in this little fishing town. Cedar Key is one of my favorite small towns to visit. Amazing food, fishing, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Hospitality from all establishment is always above and beyond.

Superbe motel authentique qui nous plonge dans l'Amérique des annees 50. On a adoré sa terrasse avec sa balancelle ! Très bon restaurant juste à côté pour prendre un copieux petit déjeuner.

We expected very basic accommodations. Location was very convenient & included parking. Beds were ok & the bathroom was serviceable. But paint was chipping off, a hole in the drywall wasn't finished being patched. TV was not connecting to Spectrum, so no TV available. WiFi kept disconnecting off. Dirty towel left hanging on the back of bathroom door. Carpeting needs a cleaning. I suggest spend a little more & go elsewhere.

Well it's not the Hilton but it's close to everything especially the only restaurant in town. The office lady was very nice and bed was comfortable. Needs new pillows, lol. But it was clean.

Room was clean. Staff amazing. Sitting on balcony we talk to multiple people. Hotel cats. We got out animal fixed. Able to walk to everything.

The hotel is extremely run down. Although the toilet in our room appeared to be new,it was not properly anchored to the floor. The old toilet was sitting on the porch outside our door. There was an odor of some sort in the room. The front desk area was a cluttered area the size of a closet. Construction was going on in an adjacent room.
