The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was great. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The soap bar and shampoo packets were the bare minimum that humanity produces. The tv didn’t work though. Seems like the only tv that worked was in the lobby. The ice machine was out of service as was the pop vending machine. But for the price, this was to be expected.

WiFi didn’t work, TV had very little channels, no smart TV options, vending and ice machines broken. 3rd floor had a smoke smell, room wasn’t that clean, lights switches were super dirty and gross, towel rack was almost falling off the wall. Not what I’d expect for $170 a night. At least the AC worked good!

Nice people, very clean, needs some more TLC Very budget wise, close to the town Took dog and they put us on the ground floor with a patio door which worked out great

Staff was friendly. Rooms were good. Clean, no smell. The only thing was the door that accessed the parking lot had no lock so anyone that wasnt staying there could essentially walk around the hotel, there was no staff at front desk from 11pm to 7am. But overall decent stay

Bathtub faucet constantly dripping, toilet paper holder broken, cracked sink. TV difficult to operate, no working ice machine, no working elevator, carpet slipping off stairs making them hazardous to use.

Needs updating. The exterior walkways are a tripping hazard. Loose steps and interlock. No onsite dining or ice machine. After 11 PM the foyer doors lock and you can access a side door that is never locked giving access to the hallways all night long. Not wheelchair accessible as there is a large step up to the room from the hallway. Odd smell in lobby and hallways. No Kleenex provided in rooms or washrooms.

The hotel has no elevator. Our room was on the second floor. It has comfortable beds and pillows. The attendant was cooperative to show us how the tv worked.They changed our beds as we requested. The front office closes at 11 but door is left open on the side to get in. There is coffee and tea available. I was disappointed the ice machine did not work.

The only reason we choose this property is dog friendly hotel. But you have to pay extra 20$ per night. We have been reminded multiple times to do it, and it was so annoying. Definitely the guy wanted us to pay cash with no receipt! The room was ok for this budget. Not too much expectations! But definitely owners don't have any clue how to do good renovation, although they try.

Simply avoid staying there. It’s a deteriorating hotel with a bad smell, dirty carpets, stained bedding, and a humid ceiling.

On arriving you can see garbage and recycling piled up at the side of the main entrance. Not a secure building as the entrance to the side of the main entrance is open at all times. Room was cleaned adequately. Condition of room was unsatisfactory. Cosmetic issues were ceiling damage, hole in wall under sink in bathroom which was covered with a clear barrier, part of one side of window drape off of rod. Real concern was black mould on ceiling in bathroom.

I got there on Friday and left on Sunday. It smelled really bad in the lobby and the hallways. The room didn’t smell as bad but the carpet was gross so I had to walk around with my shoes on. I was gone all day on Saturday and when I got back around 11 p.m the room was not cleaned The bed was not made and we had no clean towels so needless to say no shower until I got home. I will never stay there again.

Hair in bedding, floors were very dirty, I would not recommend removing shoes. Staff member stepped on ketchup packets that had exploded on the stairs in front on me and had no intention of stopping and cleaning, next morning ketchup was still there on the stairs. Would not return

Just gorgeous with so much charm. Also the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in!

Beddings were not changed after the previously people use, used towels on the door, toilet!!! was never cleaned! people's leftovers were not not cleaned!!!

Was good for somewhere to sleep. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice shower with good water pressure and warmth. Property and room was a little run down and floors were a little dirty.

The room and bed are spacious and the transportation is convenient. The downside is that the room has a smell and the shower facilities are old.

No working wifi. Front desk said that it was because I used apple products. Strange that i never experienced or even heard of such a problem before. Room was spacious and clean.

Size of room was great. They had a microwave and a mini refrigerator. Definitely could use an update. There was some holes in the walls stains on the bathroom curtain.

First impression was nice, smelt good, not like chmical cleaning products. Unfortunately the heating unit was out dated and VERY loud, would kick into gear periodically . Keeping me from falling asleep ( I counted 10 times )

While the room was clean and the bed was comfy, the decor was tired. Peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling, poor paint job/touch ups. The room was equipped with the bare minimum in terms of toiletries, but did have a blow-dryer. There was no in-room coffee maker, but there was a microwave and a bar-fridge. We stayed in a ground room floor and the outside was in rough shape, lots of weeds and uneven concrete patio/steps. In a prior life, this appears to have been a Super 8 Motel. As long as you're prepared for a no-frills stay, then this is a good option.

They stick * have sharp metal shards sticking out that snagged my new sweater leavins a hole. Pics below. Rooms need repair The people above me banged on these metal doors & the floors all night. I called the front desk @ 2:30 & they told me the desk is closed & open from 7-11 then he hung up on me. Clearly annoyed I had woken him. No problem I couldn't sleep in the room I PAID to sleep in. I C/O the noise in the morning & received no apology or care that I was up all night. Very dismissive & walked away saying they will look at the security cameras Check out was dismissive again. He appeared annoyed I wanted to talk to him about my stay. He didn't ask about my stay or thank me for staying.I brought up the dangerous metal chard on the door that ruined my sweater, the doors that didn't close & the noise from the people above. No appolagy, concern or care. He said he'd review the security. Didn't do me any good 2 days later. I cancelled my third night. This was not Canadian hospitality with kindness & care. It was rude, dirty, dangerous & loud. Not what I would expect in Huntsville.

It was ok for the one night we needed to stay, but it was a very tired looking venue. I can’t say it was bad it’s just a quick in and out back on the road type of place. And ensure you are there by 11:00 pm to check in as there is no concierge between 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

This was a great budget friendly place to stay. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was updated and clean but more attention to the little details need to be given (curtains were broken in my room but were still able to cover the window). The halls, stairs and the outside of the building definitely need attention. If someone was looking for a place to stay and drove by, they would bypass this little gem. I will not hesitate to recommend the Red Maple Inn and would consider staying again when in Huntsville.

Our room was clean, the bed comfortable. Check in and out went smooth. Front staff was prompt and courteous. It would be nice to have Kleenex and ice. Overall, it was all we needed. A bit over priced, but it was a holiday weekend so that was expected.

Front desk/assistance unavailable after 11pm which didn't allow us to resolve 2 issues found at 11.15pm. Location was good. Individual who checked us in was polite.

I did not like the attitude of the front desk staff, they were rude. The hotel it's self could use some renovations.

People above me were banging on the metal door & the floor all night. I called the front desk @ 2:30 & they said the front desk is open 7-11 we're closed & he hung up on me. I didn't get any sleep & then slept in loosing 3 hours of my day feeling tired, nauseated, headache & didn't enjoy my day because I was so tired. In the morning I talked to the desk & they didn't care in the least. She said she'd look at the security cameras.On check out he was dismissive & rude. I again talked to them about the doors that wouldn't close, the dangerous door that ruined my sweater & the noise. Again they said they would review the cameras. Didn't do me much good 2 days later on check out.No remorse, apology. Nothing. No service, No kindness & no hospitality. I cancelled my last night & only stayed 2 of the 3 nights. Anytime someone goes in or out of their room you have to slam & use all your weight to close it & pull your back & shoulder out when opening.Therefore you hear this loud heavy metal door every time anyone in a room above, beside & below leaves. You will not get any rest , kindness. respect or hospitality here. Pic 7 shows sweater damage

ITs a boit too far out of town to walk.

Great location. This property in Huntsville is a great location for starting fresh a backcountry trip in Algonquin early in the morning. The conditions are decent, but there is room for improvement. The facilities were clean.

The hotel is just off highway 11 and Highway 60 area. This is my second visit to this hotel. Very convenient location for all services. Would book again in the near future.

The people were friendly and polite. The room was clean and spacious. Instructions to hook TV to cable would have been helpful, it needs a coffeemaker as I enjoy my morning coffee, and recommend a box of tissues. We got the TV working and found it the room quite comfortable.

The rooms reeked of smoke, no working wifi and no coffee except for nespresso machine in lobby (which they hide overnight so it doesn’t get stolen). Broken beds in the hallway, or out back, no working ice machine but still in hallway and despite no smoking signs everywhere- the 3rd floor reeked. Family run though and kind people and they swapped our room for a ‘less’ smoky one! The good: beds were comfy and it was quiet.

Ok for a budget stay. Don’t drink the free coffee though.

I booked deluxe 2 queen and after checked in, I really don't find the room is any difference than other room type. Same square ft as per listing, all of them have microwave and fridge. I believe deluxe is on the ground level and other room type are in 2nd or 3rd. Anyway, agree with other reviewers that is definitely a 2 stars. Similar to a motel or Lodge. Bed is too soft for my liking. In the morning, you get free coffee (Keurig pod) or tea from 7-11am.

Prix raisonnable. Une cafetière dans la chambre ou a la réception aurait été apprécié. C’était très propre mais il y a beaucoup de petits travaux de plâtrages et de peinture a faire. Sinon les lits étaient confortable.

Despite some of the reviews, Red Maple Inn and Suites was not too bad, for the price it was pretty good. Would have been nice to have either a coffee machine in the bedroom or a machine offering it on the property.
