Jewel Paradise Cove Adult Beach Resort & Spa – All Inclusive

The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are very well kept and provides a tropical experience that is often lacking in the larger properties. It is a smaller adults-only resort and offers a more initmate experience than other hotels The restaurants are great and offer a variety of options.The beach staff is friendly and guests can take a ride on a glass boar boat or on a Hobi sail boat at no charge. Additionally guests can use kayaks, paddle boards, and a pedal boat.. There is also a variety of daytime activities (including prized) and a nightly show. Two outstanding members of the staff were Geeta and Susan. We meet Geeta at the Jade Japanese restaurant. She was not only our chef but an awesome entertainer as well. She created a memorable experience for all her guests. Susan was also amazing, friendly and personable as was the housekeeping staff. We highly reommend staying at the Jewel.

This is a smaller property but that's one if it's charms. It doesn't take you an hour to walk around the grounds, nor do you need a shuttle from one end to the other. The staff was very attentive; from the lifeguards, to the wait staff to the front desk. The tour representative was very helpful and the tours offered from their desk were less expensive then booking online through an OTA. The food was amazing, especially the Jerk Hut on the beach. There was nothing I didn't like about the food and it had a good variety for being a smaller property. Although it wasn't a concern for me, they do not have elevators for their accommodations, most of which are three stories. This was my second time at the property and I will absolutely be returning.

The property was beautiful. The staff were accommodating and nice. My family and I enjoyed ourselves especially the pools, swim up bar, and the water slide. Oh and definitely the spa. 😊 The only thing I didn’t like was that there were no elevators, but the buildings were only 3 stories high.

Need proper, better, and more convenient parking area.

Issues with check in. After everything got straightened out we were happy with our stay. Spa was great. Food was delicious. Pools were cloudy. Beaches were great. Water activities readily available. Staff was very friendly. Felt very safe.

One of the smaller all inclusive resorts in the area. Staff was great and we’re calling us by name by the 2nd day. Spa was amazing. All around great stay. We will definitely be back.

This was a great adults only location it had places if you wanted loud fun. But it also had lots gazebos and other locations where you could have quiet restful time. They also had a playlist that was longer than other resorts that we stayed at so you didn’t hear the same 10 songs every day. It was big enough that it had a good selection of restaurants, pools bars, etc. but small enough that you can get all those different locations in a convenient less than five minute walk.

Was a nice all adult resort to relax as a couple. Not to much to do at night time tho as the club is only open on the weekends and they stop serving drinks at a certain time. So bring a bottle or two from the airport

Definitely go see the spa, world class zen level massages at the Jewel's Spa, that was the highlight of my trip.

I just loved the facilities. The restaurants and the food quality. The rooms and accommodations, multiple pools and beaches. The staff delivered excellent customer service, got to know us by name , and always delivered that service “from the heart” from the time they greeted us on the Lobby with cool lemongrass soaked washcloths until I checked out,I enjoyed every aspect of our stay, including the entertainment, the impeccable grounds and the resident cats. ♥️ We definitely will be returning to Jewel Paradise Cove Resort.

Omg!!!! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!!! The rooms, the grounds, pool, restaurant, and even the beach. The ambience was amazing and staff was right there whenever you needed. Call check from hotel concierge to check on how your stay is going. Name it they did it. Transportation arrangements, activity bookings, and on-site activities were all really good. I would stay there again.

Property was clean except the bathrooms they all smell like urine.

Recently Spent a week there. First morning it took a few hours for a staff member to find us water. Property was nice but while walking around there were cups and dishes everywhere. AC in room was good but the bed was very firm. Our shower was in a jacuzzi tub which was difficult to get in and out of as it was slippery. There are 3 floors and no elevators Pool was nice and so was the beach. But we couldn’t kayak until 9:30 which is rather late Main buffet food was mediocre and very small with only about 10 hot food items The grill was good but there is no shade to sit and eat Japanese and Italian were really good. Had a steak dinner at Platinum and requested medium, it was terribly over cooked that I couldn’t eat it. My reef flip flops and a sweatshirt disappeared from my room. Overall we had a nice week away from home. I just wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

the property was clean and well maintained

This is a good place for the price. The small pool was very very visibly dirty with sun screen slick murky water by mid day everyday, so we stuck to the beach. The room fridge was not restocked until we asked. The food was good the staff were great.

Second time here. Employees were very attentive and accommodating. Plenty of things to do. Food was decent. The place is a bit dated and is in need of a overhaul, but it was clean.

This resort is safe with amazing staff and friendly guests. Although the property is not brand new, it is very well maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend this resort to other travelers.

All the staff were friendly, helpful, polite and approachable. The check in process was efficient and did not take long although we had to wait about 30 minutes for the room. However it did help that we had access to all the facility during this time so we could eat etc. The restaurant and eating facility by the beach was really nice and there is plenty seating around the property which is well kept. The gardens are beautiful.

Clean place.

Great staff. Dangerous bathroom- water running from shower all around tub and on to floor. High tub to step over on to a wet and slippy floor.

I feel this resort provided a smaller intimate environment. Great for introverts, great views and close to flavors beach(walking takes 10min)

Our Butler Raymond was nice however the property wasn’t what we expected and the food was not all that good either. It doesn’t have much beach area and our oceanfront room wasn’t we expected either. We were given a room with too many trees in front of our view. The price is good but the resort is not somewhere we would stay again.

Everything at the resort was great, the food, the staff (they were all so friendly and helpful) and the entertainment was nice. The only negative I have is the beach. There are two and they are both really small. We walked 15 minutes down the road to a public beach so we could enjoy a nice beach and float in the ocean. The pools were all great and kept clean so we enjoyed them a lot of the time. Our room was kept clean but the bed was too firm for our liking. All in all I would say this place was pretty fabulous and we would stay here again. We only had one issue while there, the lock on our door quit working and they had someone replace it quickly.

The staff was wonderful and the food was good. Unfortunately, our stay was less than desireable. The rooms and property in general are very dated. When we first arrived, I was extremely disappointed by the room and how dated the property was. I reached out to Expedia because I felt mislead by the property description and photos. The hotel manager reached out to me and switched us to a different room the following day. The second room was better, but still dated. If you decide to stay here, please know the property is not shiny and new. It’s older and could use quite a bit of updating. Additionally, the alcohol selection is subpar. They charge for Jack Daniel’s and any alcohol they consider “premium”. Overall, our stay was definitely not worth the $500 a night price tag. We will return to Jamaica, but will stay elsewhere. Again, the staff was accommodating and kind, but I expected a little more from a Hilton property.

The room was ok. It was clean and the wifi works. Blanket was a little thin but the bed was comfortable.

First off the staff were all so very nice. The room was clean enough, but I purchased the nicest room available that was supposed to have a balcony or patio. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to upload a video or photo, but we did not have either. It was very disappointing as this was the main reason I booked this room. I also purchased the butler service. I do not recommend it. It’s not worth it. What I disliked the most about this experience besides not getting the room I booked was that it felt like I needed to carry money around to tip. I’ve stayed at many other all inclusive resorts and this wasn’t expected. If anything adding a tip at the end of the stay for certain aspects okay. It didn’t feel like the workers were taken care of, so most people were tipping. The resort itself is very low key. The energy of the resort is low. It wasn’t advertised as a couples resort, so we decided to take the hour 20 drive from the airport hoping the resort would be more fun then the family resorts still available closer to the airport. It wasn’t. Other resorts I’ve stayed at the staff keep people upbeat and social. That didn’t really happen here. No games and the nightclub wasn’t open all nights. The Music was low. Idk the vibe was just really low. That was disappointing. We absolutely loved the snorkel trip and sailing. The food was just okay, but they did accommodate my food allergy well. That was very appreciated. The mini bar wasn’t restocked after the first night which was disappointin

The property is a little older but it is well maintained. The food was delicious and the staff was very polite. Enough can't be said about the people at this resort, they make it very enjoyable. Raymond, Terry Ann, Janice and Jena all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. If you come to Jewel Paradice Cove and have a bad experience, then you didn't meet Raymond. My only complaint is the mattresses are very uncomfortable.

This place was amazing! Smaller...but perfect! Seemed a little outdated, but im okay with that too! It was beautiful. Staff was amazing and friendly. Will always come back to this one. It seems more personable. Not too many people like the bigger resorts. Just book it! You wont regret it.

Check-in was horrible. I waited 3 & a half hours before the room was ready. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The customer service was amazing from the moment we arrived in the lobby. I was greeted by Donoye (sorry if i misspelled her name) and Tracy Ann.

I was totally ignored during checking i had to go to them twice to get checked in. However when you get their attention it was the best eve then you see how nice they can be.

From the start it was not a good experience. When we arrived we were sat down and forgotten about. A large group that arrived after us was taken care of ahead of us which I believe caused us to have to wait longer for our room. I had to seek out an employee to help since we were seated and told we would be helped right away, which didn't happen. The staff (overall) was not as expected from reading all other reviews. They were not as friendly as described and made us feel like we were putting them out by even being there. Food selection was very limited. Not all restaurants were even open. We were not impressed by this resort and can't understand why so many people make it a repeat place to visit. The sunsets here were awesome but you can get awesome sunsets from just about any beach resort.

We were at Jewel Paradise Cove when Hurricane Beryl hit Jamaica. The hotel was extremely organized and the staff seemed knowledgeable and confident. They had prepared food packages for guests to bring to their rooms while we sheltered through the most severe part of the storm. As soon as the storm had abated to a safe level the buffet restaurant service resumed in limited fashion and by morning they were serving a complete breakfast. Amazing. A water pipe failed from the storm winds and a maintenance crew managed to repair it before the storm had complete finished. Outstanding.

I was annoyed that my room was not ready at 4:30pm when arrived. And then they have a waiting policy and have to be called up to check-in, so I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for management to verify room is ready. It was not a busy time so there was no excuse for the wait.

At the beginning of our trip, we gave the staff and the swrvise 5 stars. Unfortunately this changed after 4 days. Apparently we hadn't tipped enough. At the pool the food was no longer brought to the table, you were called to pick it up. Also at dinner you had to ask for coffee and drinks in the 2nd half of your stay. Ovrr 170$ for a massage is definitely too expensive. Otherwise the food etc was good for the price.

Staff was extremely excellent and friendly

The staff is what makes the property so wonderful. Hayne, Tomique, Tenelle, Christine, Raymond all went above & beyond. Returning home is not exciting, because they all really spoiled us to make sure our stay was incredible.

Amazing hotel, beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Not the best of location if one hasn't got a car. The entrance not very clear and abit in inviting. But certainly not our first stay and won't be our last.

The hotel was not very busy. The staff was very helpful and the Japanese restaurant was great. It is a bit isolated.

The General Location.

We were here for a long weekend with 7 couples for my husbands 50th. We had a great time.. staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Raymond was the best waiter ever and his son super nice and always smiling. The beach was excellent… resort is small but super convenient for a short trip..

Safe, quiet, walkable, shopping and convenient. Had no need for transportation or parking. Need more variety of Jamaican food.

Property is dated. Not the best beach. Not enough local food choices, perhaps out of season or scares due to recent hurricanes on the island. Location is fine so i hope they'll make some improvement on it soon rather than later.

The Good: Beautiful property, Beaches, pools & water slide are all great. Good flavorful food, enough variety to satisfy Jamaicans and visitors. The Jerk Hut on the Beach is a big Plus. Check in staff and process excellent. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly, which is typical for Jamaica. The Property is in Cove off the street so if you don't drive a car. Be prepared to stay on Property. Nightly entertainment I would give a 7 out of 10. Cabaret show each night and a DJ plays music after. The Challenges: Room surfaces shows age and ware. AC sounded like a Helicopter & the Room had a slightly moldy odor that they tried to cover up with an air freshener. Over all Great stay & I would recommend the resort! C.W.

Beautiful property! Not much night life for anyone under the age of 40, food was very good, drinks were light on the alcohol, some days there was not any hot water, staff was wonder and helpful, hibachi was the best entertainment we had, would recommend for a chill vacation, not for people wanting to party, beach was pretty empty on a holiday weekend which was nice

10/10 customer service! Spa was top notch! Alex and Marlon at the bar made it so enjoyable! Food was amazing! You get to taste the culture and their jerk chicken was amazing! Perfect place for couples. Not a club scene but a great time.

Nice location and clean facility. Drink quality was poor and little fresh fruit. Service was good although a little slow. Food choices were somewhat limited for lunch.

People were great. Facility is well maintained. Could use more variety in restaurants and food choices. Bartenders are great but liquor choices were a lower quality than expected.
