Yala Safari Camping

Das Deck mit der Aussichtsplattform ist ein Traum, auch der Service und das hervorragende Essen kann man uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Lage der Camping Lodge ist genial. Natur pur. Allerdings entspricht der Zustand der Zelte nicht mehr den Bildern. Sonnenliegen waren teilweise defekt, Dusche und Bad Bereich generell muss unbedingt erneuert werden.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Yala Safari Camping! We originally booked a full-day safari but ended up adding an afternoon safari on arrival day. Both were fantastic, and we were lucky enough to see leopards on both days! We saw so much wildlife and truly experienced the beauty of Yala National Park. A special thank you to our incredible driver, Ajith. He was extremely knowledgeable and skilled, with an amazing eye for spotting wildlife. He answered all our questions and made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout both safaris. The food was another highlight — honestly, the best food we ate during our entire three-week trip in Sri Lanka! Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared. A big thank you to our chef, Promod! The camp itself was beautiful, peaceful and charming. Our tent was near a waterhole, so we even got to see wildlife in the mornings. Overall, Yala Safari Camping gave us an unforgettable combination of wildlife, nature, incredible food and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Thank you to Ravi and the entire team for an amazing stay and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend you and would absolutely choose you again!

Il problema è la strada dissestata, circa 3/4 km dalla strada una jeep viene a prenderti strada orribile, chi ha problemi alla schiena non prenoti lì. Scalini per scendere in camera di notte e non è facile. Posto caratteristico ma la viabilità per raggiungere le camere è infame. E nulla di questo è menzionato nel sito. Gravissimo

Amazing food ! The young cook is an excellent ! Lovely views from the dining area . We saw giant squirrels , black faced langurs, a tiny deer , monitor lizard, hares etc. on the property grounds. Only down side is that the rooms feel a bit isolated from the staff/dining area . we had a power cut in the middle of the night for quite a few hours and nobody came to help. Otherwise, staff were kind and very helpful

Room wasn’t very clean. The bath was dirty the bed sheets had holes in them and the rugs on the floor were very worn. Considering the cost. A bit of re- investment would not go a miss.
