I loved this hotel & location so much that I even extended my stay. The staff are great - Alejandro is kind and communicates well with all guests. The compound is peaceful and full of hammocks and lounging areas. I will be back!

Really enjoyed my 2 week stay at the living hotel . The property was really lush with cool cabana type rooms. They had coffee available in the open air area of the hotel. Also a juice bar on site but not always opened. When they are open they also have coffee available that they will make you free of charge if you are staying at the hotel. Only minor complaints are the pool definitely needs some work. Lots of missing tiles and could really use a face lift. Also if you need WiFi--it is extremely spotty service. I was working while there and could not use the WiFi for work at all and luckily was able to go to a coworking center about 5 minutes away by car to work. Otherwise the location is great--just a few blocks from the beach and next to several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was very relaxing and the rooms were very private. The hotel has a very nice, comfortable living room type area by the pool that allows for relaxing visiting or just being around your group comfortably.

This hotel is probably the best location in Nosara. It offers a nice, comfortable atmosphere with walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. Alejandro at reception was kind and welcoming, adding to the pleasant experience. The relaxing pool and complimentary coffee were great perks. The only minor drawback was the bed, which was a bit too soft for my liking. Overall, a perfect stay!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Checked in, walked outside and saw a dog looking up and barking. He was barking at some local Howler Monkeys. Very spacious triple room. The bedrooms are on the end and the bathroom is in between giving quite a bit of privacy. The pool was fine, the community kitchen was a nice bonus that we didn't know about. You might get woken up by those Howler Monkeys, but that's not a bad thing in my mind. Walking distance to the beach. Store and restaurants were close. We will be staying at this hotel again.

El precio es absurdo por lo que se ofrece. Pedí una habitación para dos y me dieron una triple, sin posibilidad de reclamar. Es una construcción barata, muy pequeño el cuarto, poco seguro, pocas comodidades. Pero si es limpio y tranquillo.

WiFi was a little spotty most of our stay which wasn’t a huge issue. Amenities like bikes, rain umbrellas, and beach umbrellas were available for free. Since this hotel is on the “main drag,” it could be a bit noisy at times.

My friend and I went to nosara for 4 nights between other locations We negotiated between value and amenities. We chose living hotel and we are so glad. It is clean and wonderfully grounds. The pool is superb. But the best asset is Alejandro the attendant. He is so sweet and nice and so helpful. He was wondering. He arranged a few things last moment. The room was what we needed. Huge bathroom lots of hot water comfortable bed and storage. Not huge but just what you need in nosara. Looking for fancy ones elegance go somewhere else. If you want clean, inviting,refreshing all at a very fair price then choose living hotel. I would stay here over and over again

Off season but when you pay $170 Canadian you expect a whole lot more. Self help tea and water in a common area was the highlight. No TV, older facilities but clean. I rarely write a mediocre review but I am all the way to poor on this one. Toooo much money for the service and facilities

We stayed for 5 nights & really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, peaceful hotel. Comfortable spacious room. Free coffee & tea & a nice juice/smoothie bar. Very reasonable price & friendly staff. Would definitely return!

Living Hotel was the first place I stayed on my first visit to Costa Rica. Excellent customer service. I arrived around 8:00pm Sunday and the night-time security was waiting for me to kindly show me to my room. Left the power on in my rental car and drained the battery. Alejandro came through and had my battery jumped the next morning, just in time for my departure. Great smoothies on site. Grocery across the street. Close to everything. Enjoyed my stay!

We stayed for 5 nights & really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, peaceful hotel. Comfortable spacious room. Free coffee & tea & a nice juice/smoothie bar. Very reasonable price & friendly staff. Would definitely return!

This hotel is probably the best location in Nosara. It offers a nice, comfortable atmosphere with walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. Alejandro at reception was kind and welcoming, adding to the pleasant experience. The relaxing pool and complimentary coffee were great perks. The only minor drawback was the bed, which was a bit too soft for my liking. Overall, a perfect stay!

Perfect place to stay. The staff was wonderful. The room was perfect and huge. It is in an ideal location, right in the middle of Noosa but not noisy at all. The pool is beautiful and kept clean. There’s coffee and tea available at all hours of the day.

Off season but when you pay $170 Canadian you expect a whole lot more. Self help tea and water in a common area was the highlight. No TV, older facilities but clean. I rarely write a mediocre review but I am all the way to poor on this one. Toooo much money for the service and facilities

Really enjoyed my 2 week stay at the living hotel . The property was really lush with cool cabana type rooms. They had coffee available in the open air area of the hotel. Also a juice bar on site but not always opened. When they are open they also have coffee available that they will make you free of charge if you are staying at the hotel. Only minor complaints are the pool definitely needs some work. Lots of missing tiles and could really use a face lift. Also if you need WiFi--it is extremely spotty service. I was working while there and could not use the WiFi for work at all and luckily was able to go to a coworking center about 5 minutes away by car to work. Otherwise the location is great--just a few blocks from the beach and next to several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Living Hotel was the first place I stayed on my first visit to Costa Rica. Excellent customer service. I arrived around 8:00pm Sunday and the night-time security was waiting for me to kindly show me to my room. Left the power on in my rental car and drained the battery. Alejandro came through and had my battery jumped the next morning, just in time for my departure. Great smoothies on site. Grocery across the street. Close to everything. Enjoyed my stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean but a little tight. However, there is a lot of outdoor space with a great area for a free coffee or tea and relaxation. WiFi was a little spotty most of our stay which wasn’t a huge issue. Amenities like bikes, rain umbrellas, and beach umbrellas were available for free. Since this hotel is on the “main drag,” it could be a bit noisy at times.

This hotel is so cute and extreme chill vibes! Each room has its own little patio, the pool is really nice and I love the communal area! Very easy to walk to all the restaurants around.

The pool was beautiful, and central to all the rooms. We loved hearing the monkeys, cicadas and birds all day and night. We really felt like we were in the jungle, yet also bear all the action. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!

The property is beautiful and the location is great for exploring the north side of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself could use a refresh. It is for sale so I suspect that will not happen until it has a new owner. My only real issue was lack of table space in the rooms to place keys, books, sunglasses, etc. Hotel services are limited. The coffee/juice bar didn’t open until around 9 a.m. So early risers need to go out (there are espresso pods available in the main shared space). Not a big deal as there are plenty of places nearby. No laundry service available. You have to go to the full service Super Wash a few buildings down. That wasn’t great as many pieces of clothing went missing. All in all it is a really nice spot. It could be great with just a few extra touches.

Staff were super friendly and kind. Pool is big and awesome. Location is right in the heart of Guiones so not quiet but very convenient. Mati at the juice/coffee bar is super cool, a great surf instructor, and has great insight into the area. Expectations exceeded.
