This is a quaint little room in a historical building. In fact every building in Oatlands looks to be an original 1800s stone building. We enjoyed a quiet one night stay. Not much to do on site. It has a stone courtyard and has a well equipped kitchenette - no hot plate though. Wifi is not great as it drops randomly. We both felt it could have used a good dusting. Overall a comfortable place for a night stay on the road. Its self check in but the staff were responsive by telephone

Only spent one night at Robinson Cottage which is an old property that has been renovated. Property matches the description and had everything we needed. A bit of a squeeze getting around the queen-sized bed in the front bedroom but otherwise very functional. Good kitchen with room around the table. TV signal weak but internet quite fast (~20Mbps) so we could stream via a laptop. Unfortunately IMBIBERS which is a Wine, Cheese and Spirits Merchants right next door was closed on the day we stayed but looked like a nice place to visit.

I found it difficult to find as it was behind other buildings in the street and poor signage - there is not any reception area for help. Quite small cottage but well equipped for stay with adequate off street parking.

Beautiful old historic property with 4 joined areas including 2 small studio rooms as well as our 2 bedroom cottage . The place is currently for sale and there is a lot of maintenance and repair work to be done. The chimney in the front room has been blocked off with ply which blows in and out in the wind and rain making for a bit of a noisy night. It was however warm and well appointed. Nice town.

The house is nice and clean. We are enjoyed so much. However, we could not find the staff when we arrived and had some trouble getting into the house. Luckily the neighbours are great for help.

The main bed was extremely well used and had deep dips on both sides of the mattress. The middle has a hump. The house smelt of stale cooked food. No hand soap in the bathroom/toilet area. The window in the bathroom had a great bottom lock latch but the top section can be pulled down and open so it wasn’t secure lol. There was a rise in the carpet near the small hall between the lounge/bathroom and second bedroom that we weren’t aware of and no signage to alert you and we tripped on this and I hit my head on the bathroom door.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. The building is old so has a few funny quirks but nothing to detract from the overall enjoyment of staying there. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated to a high standard and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We will stay here again.

This property in Oatlands is cosy and quiet. It is a renovated self contained cottage at the back of the block. The work they have put into the property to make it modern and comfortable shows. My only negative was the bed. Not sure if it was the brand of mattress, the bed platform, or the mattress needs to be turned or replaced, It was lumpy in unexpected places. It is a little gem of a place and would be a great weekend away if you wanted to explore the Towns of Oatlands or the surrounding area.

It was a very comfortable place to stay. A lovely atmosphere. Attention to detail.We arrived on Sunday evening and nothing was open except the IGA supermarket. We managed to buy a nice quiche and some salad. Our hosts kindly sold us an exceptionally nice bottle of wine from their very nice little wine bar a few doors away. It was all extremely comfortable and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the town the following morning.

Lovely cosy room was all we needed. Great to stay in an old ex convict place. Check in was via a code to my phone text which worked fine. Had a good look around Oatlands, enjoying all the history of the place.

The property is in a good position. The toilet was not clean on arrival. There is nowhere to eat on Monday or Tuesday after five. The cottage I was in is very small and would be too small for two people.

The cottage was nice, good heater which was needed. Oatlands itself, no food available week nights 3pm until 10am other than IGA. Not a lot to do/see for more than 1 day.

Stayed in a beautiful authentic early settlers cottage. All the amenities we required were there. The cottage is situated On High street walking distance to everything the town has to offer.

I found it difficult to find as it was behind other buildings in the street and poor signage - there is not any reception area for help. Quite small cottage but well equipped for stay with adequate off street parking.

It was a very comfortable place to stay. A lovely atmosphere. Attention to detail.We arrived on Sunday evening and nothing was open except the IGA supermarket. We managed to buy a nice quiche and some salad. Our hosts kindly sold us an exceptionally nice bottle of wine from their very nice little wine bar a few doors away. It was all extremely comfortable and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the town the following morning.

The cottage was cozy, cute and convenient to the new swimming pool (next door) and the charger for our EV (also next door and free). We had a single room and bathroom which were adequate but meals had to be sourced elsewhere and that's difficult on a Monday night when everything is shut.

Only spent one night at Robinson Cottage which is an old property that has been renovated. Property matches the description and had everything we needed. A bit of a squeeze getting around the queen-sized bed in the front bedroom but otherwise very functional. Good kitchen with room around the table. TV signal weak but internet quite fast (~20Mbps) so we could stream via a laptop. Unfortunately IMBIBERS which is a Wine, Cheese and Spirits Merchants right next door was closed on the day we stayed but looked like a nice place to visit.

The location was great. The bathroom is a very good size but there was nowhere to put shampoo etc. once in the shower. There was no soap/shower gel, no soap only a pump softsoap at the sink. Sink is cracked cracked but ok. The shampoo and conditioner pumps were a generous size. There was a heated towel rail which was needed. Tea and coffee and milk supplies were as usual, very generous milk bottle. There were mugs and tea cups and saucers. Quite sweet. Where the experience fell down was with the host. I received no communication re entry code. At the property a sign pointed to reception, there was no reception. The sign had a contact number, it was answered by an automated answering service but I was not connected to a real person. I tried twice. Once I got through to the host (via a phone number on the website which was the contact for the previous owner) the host helped me access my room. However, she blamed the previous owner and the platform and expressed no empathy or understanding. It's not nice, after driving on your own for hours, to arrive somewhere in the cold, with no obvious means of contacting the host. I hope these are teething issues and the host learns to manage the platform(s) and to be proactive in helping customers.

The bed and amenities are great. I would have liked some lamps there as I get up in the middle of the night to read (insomnia ) and don't want to disturb others
