Indoor pool was closed for maintenance since May 2024. Please update this info on your ad. Partly the reason we chose this facility and was quite disappointed when we got there. Other than that, a decent place to stay.

Hot tub jets not working Rooms very dated and mattresses you feel the coils. Bathroom has rust ceiling paint coming off tub slow drain very limited tv channels breakfast a joke no potatoes or muffins or fruit very smelly room air conditioning very loud. Stayed a few day no house keeping they could of made the bed empty garbage but no. No one cares to fix nothing

Check in went smooth. The pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. We had a problem with our air conditioner. We were immediately moved to another room. Great service!

Hot tub closed, I hate when they do that but from now on when I book a room I’m Calling the hotel to make sure no unexpected closures!!

Parking lot and entrance need holes filled

I do not recommend staying here. It may be reasonably priced, but the saying “you get what you pay for” definitely applies. Their “luxury for less” tagline is misleading — there’s nothing luxurious about this hotel. We stayed four nights and were very disappointed. The rooms were small, the beds were doubles (not queens), and the sheets on both beds were dirty. The towels were tiny, the bathroom was outdated and missing a toilet lid, and the shower had cracked tiles and paint splatters. The bathroom door even had a hole patched with a loose piece of wood. The furniture was old, the TV was tiny, and both the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Walls were paper thin, so you could hear everything from neighbors and the hallway. The pool area was also neglected — dirty tiles, discolored grout, and an uninviting yellow-stained hot tub. The pool itself was a decent size but looked tired and unappealing. Overall, the place needs serious updating and better cleaning standards. Would not recommend to anyone.

Room had mouse traps, black mold in the bathroom, found BED BUGS!, you definitely get what you’re paying for! When I approached the front desk staff about the bed bugs n showed them they were not fazed. Don’t care really and asked for manger. The manger couldn’t even be bothered to come deal with it. Avoid this place at all cost!

Hidden gem. Only stayed 1 night for a family event and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Hotel is a bit dated but very clean. Pool and hot tub were great and the hot breakfast (included) was very good. Will definitely stay again.

First room had cockroaches. 2nd room had cockroaches. Will never stay there again!

Hotel was close to a lot of stores, shopping, and restaurants. Lots of parking. Clean room.

The sheets were stained, saw evidence of bedbugs, someone was smoking in the room next to us and the smell was everywhere and the manager just said they couldn’t do anything about it. The inside of the bathroom door was water stained and looked like someone hacked it with a knife, carpets were filthy, the toilet had poop splashes all over it, the not salt pool tasted like salt, and an adult fell down the hot tub stairs because their grip strips were all smooth and slippery, it was a gong show.

Clean quiet

for our second night the room had not been tended to. Used towels were gone but not replaced. Garbage not emptied. Coffee not replaced.

Pretty rough place, or at least my room was. Rotten milk in the microwave, Cheetos under the bed, flies in the room ... Staff were nice though!

Room was painted in very dark blue with no lights on one side of the room. I needed to use my phone flashlight to see anything. Room was very noisy and dated. Much better options for similar prices.

No way to heat our room, very chilly with the central air system. No baseboard heater

We arrived early so walked to a nearby pub/restaurant for a late lunch; lots of food places within walking distance. Easy parking right outside our door\I liked being able to enter from outside as well as inside. Bed was comfortable

It was a very old hotel that needs a lot of renovations. It was clean. There were a few vagrants outside the front door which was a little concerning but we also had access through our own outside door

Other guests skateboarding in the upstairs units and hallways. Had to ask office to deal with other guests. Spring mattresses very noisy. Good quality linens. New paint and vinyl plank flooring but furniture needs updates.

Its perfect for my needs. Its an older place. I liked i could get in and out of my room from outside directly to my car. Front desk person very helpful and friendly. I loved it 😍 ❤️ ♥️

Average value for the price. I booked several days in advance and requested an upper floor, which was not accommodated. Free breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel and desperately needs improvement. Pool and hottub are nice but the hottub temperature was not as hot as it should be. The room was cold to the point of being uncomfortable and the in-room climate control did nothing. Only a few TV channels and had a hard time finding anything to watch. WiFi was unusable and I got a speediest result of 0.16 Mbps which explains why I couldn't even load a webpage on any of my devices. The hotel was not all bad though. The hotel as well as the room were very clean and well maintained, though outdated but on-par for a hotel in this price range. The bed was somewhat comfortable, as was the in-room furniture and the complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea in the room was a nice surprise. Based on this experience I will not stay here again. I do still like the hotel though, however they need to make some improvements (mainly the horrible continental breakfast, the availability of king sized beds and condition of the parking lot) before I would book here again.

Comfortable room, coffee maker, fridge and micro. Poor WiFi . Pool looked nice, didn't use it but a few families enjoying it. Large breakfast room, usual cold items plus good sausage, boiled eggs and waffles. Good value and recommend as long as strong wifi not essential for you.

A certain front desk person was VERY rude

The front desk attendant was very friendly and accommodating. I was able to check in early which was much appreciated. The room was mostly clean with a few areas of opportunity- a bit dusty in places and the corners of rhe washroom door frame are damaged near the bottom. There was plenty of hot water for baths and showers. Coffee was replenished daily. Next time I would request a room that did not overlook the pool so I could open the curtain and have natural light.

Staff at this hotel were very warm and inviting. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but good enough to get you on your way.

I was in Brandon for someone’s graduation. I wasn’t going to be spending a lot of time at the hotel and just wanted a clean room with a reasonable rate to rest my head and shower. Is the establishment dated? Yes, of course it is. More importantly, was it clean? It absolutely was. I performed a bed check and found nothing out of sorts or any critters, it was clean, as was the sofa. I had no concerns. Between my arrival and when I checked out, I dealt with three different people at the front desk, all pleasant and professional. I would absolutely stay here again.

Customer service was excellent

We were met with a sweet and friendly front desk employee. I forgot a few things and she was quick to help me. Clean rooms, pool was quiet with comfortable temperatures, and breakfast was perfect.

Booked online with a "Pay at property" selected on Hotels.com. When we arrived they said they cancelled our rooms because we they tried charging our card 3 days ago. I asked them why they tried charging our room in advance and they said to protect themselves from no shows. I had to rebook the room at a much higher price. There were mouse traps all over the rooms. Breakfast was sausage, boiled eggs and some cheap no name cereals. Book somewhere else.

The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to all restaurant and stores. Good place to stay for a visit to Brandon.

The place is disgusting! From the moment you drive in its garbage strewn outside and we were very concerned leaving our car in the parking lot! Security guards sitting in the lobby and walking the halls! Did not feel safe

Cost is great compared to the surrounding hotels. Walking distance to our venue is perfect. Staff was very polite and accommodating.

When working in Brandon, I always stay at the Colonial Inn. It's a fair price. The staff are always very nice and helpful. The beds are comfy, and the rooms are clean. The breakfast in the morning is simple, but perfect for a working guy to get going in the morning quickly. It would be great if the pool was usable again, but it's certainly not a deal breaker. Lots of things close by. The Shoppers Mall. Lots of dining options.

They had a security guard walking around outside the property when we checked in at 11:00 p.m. I needed an accessible room, which they were able to give me. I am privileged to be able to walk very short distances using forearm crutches. The hallway was smelly, like old carpet that had been shampooed. Clean but everything looked worn out and stained or scraped or dinged up. The room was right off the entrance, so our door was right next to the vending machine and people coming and going. The hotel must have had folks who were evacuated from the fire situation, and there was lots of people out and about even at midnight. The room was clean and air conditioned, the bed was very nice but high, I needed help getting into it. No carpet which was good for my wheelchair. The bathroom was only partially wheelchair accessible. The toilet is very very low. The grab bar next to it was the smallest one I have ever seen, like the size of a toilet paper holder. Another grab bar perpendicular to it was also small. No grab bar behind the toilet. The bathtub was about a foot high, two grab bars in the tub, no shower seat, you would have to be able to stand up. The shower head is fixed. The vanity is outside the bathroom and was easy to use. The place is dated and worn, but the room was clean and exactly what we needed. They need to address the details of the accessible room. We had a good nights rest with our noise cancelling headphones on.

Very convenient location. Close to shopping, dining and movie theater.

Good thing is there were 3 security guards roaming the halls. Bad thing is the environment in and around the hotel made them needed. Litter outside the front door and on the foyer floor. People sitting and lying on the ground outside made it feel unsafe.
