Lakeview Motel & Cottage

My time at Lakeview Motel was a pleasant off-season stay. Winter time can be fun! My room was clean and you can tell it was recently updated with space for 1-2 people. The owners were kind and on the spot if needed. Such as getting cable and Internet on my laptop and phone I was very comfortable with my sux-evening stay.

The hot water took a long time to get hot. I had to leave the sink and shower running for a couple of minutes but other than that my stay was great.

The manger controls the heat, I found my room was cold due to a drafty door and widow, I couldn't change the temperature. As there isnt the appearance of an onsite manger, calling some late at night is problematic at best. On the positive side the room was clean and bed was comfy.

Inconsitent heat in room. Thermostat operated like a motion sensor, no movent = no heat, it went from 21°C to 10°C

I have used this place last year, although new owners, the service and the safety of the motel hasn’t changed. It is a great place to stay. There is a pool and fire pit, I will return next year for sure Kim
