Excellent stay. Owners Amelio and Angela were lovely and hospitable. Excellent fresh and delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful property with facilities. Shuttle service to Amalfi town by the hotel and bus service frequently into town and back and night. Views were stunning and so tranquil and peaceful. Had the most amazing time.

Best place to rest and relax on the busy Amalfi Coast. Emilio and Angela hosted us in their wonderful B&B and treated us like family. Most wonderful people I’ve ever stayed with. They helped us navigate the area, made an amazing fresh daily breakfast (more like a brunch) and even helped when the weather took a turn and I was without a coat. This was also the best rest we’ve ever had on a vacation as well. Super quiet up in the hills of Amalfi and set apart from the noise of the downtown, yet it still has its own uptown community to explore if you’re adventurous. We also were able to enjoy their hot tub after the Path of the Gods hike. Wonderful experience.

Beautiful property. We had a room with a view and balcony. Nice and comfortable bed Beautiful, cooked breakfast with fresh ingredients like farmed eggs, fresh tomatoes , mozzarella and fruit. Beautifully serves coffee and tea. Little hard to get to as it’s on the hill but there is free parking if you are traveling by car. Better to arrive before sun set. Nice restaurant close by 10 min by car. There is no pool as described but a hot tub, however didn’t get to use it.

Solaria is a wonderful place to experience the beauty and hospitality of Amalfi. It is first class. Specifically Emilio and Angela have created a beautiful bed and breakfast on the Amalfi hills full of gardens, comfortable beds, clean, airy and serene. The pool felt so good in the warm sun. Angela and her assistant are exceptional cooks- breakfast is delicious with the freshest of Italian ingredients. Solaria provided us a free shuttle to downtown Amalfi for shopping and any sea excursion we desired. Emilo and Angela are attentive to their guests needs but allow for privacy as well. They are excellent hosts. Close by is a delicious restaurant, El Niño, and the owner will drive you there and back. We highly recommend staying at Solaria and hope to return again in the years to come. Blessings always to Solaria.

Best location in and around Amalfi. The owners, Angela & Emilio are great hosts, lovely and friendly people. We loved Angela's cakes and breakfast, and amazed how knowledgeable Emilio is about history. Stunning views, peaceful and quiet surrounding full of birdsong and fragrant Mediterranean breeze, tastefully decorated rooms and outdoor area, even a sauna and jakuzi with ocean views. I don't know what more anyone could ask. I'd definitely stay here on my next visit. The room is great, the shower cabin has a glass wall with the surrounding rock visible through. The decoration is on par with hotels twice the price

100/10!!! This place was INCREDIBLE! The views, the rooms, the owners, everything was exceptional. My partner and I traveled to 7 cities in Italy and this place was by far our favorite, not because of the town but because of this hotel! The owners are very hands on, very polite and accommodating, and the included morning breakfasts were AMAZING! They offer the shuttle service daily down to the town so you get to stay up in the quiet mountains with beautiful views while also getting to experience the downtown area during the day. I couldn't recommend this place more - thank you Solaria for such a wonderful experience!!!

Amazing experience at the Solaria B&B The hosts are absolutely lovely and the hotel is away from all the cities' chaos. Very quiet beautiful view, access to pool and spa. Our favorite stay in our honeymoon to Italy. The hotel is quite far away from the city (20-30 minute drive) and there is not a large amount of buses available (one at 11h30 am), so longer stays or those without cars may find it difficult to move around.

Es una propiedad increíble, las vistas preciosas, pero sobre todo la atención de Emilio y Ángela que te hacen sentir como parte de la familia. Los desayunos deliciosos, en especial los postres que día a día prepara Ángela. La propiedad se encuentra a a 15-20min de Amalfi por lo que hay que tener en cuenta el transporte, si van en auto tiene estacionamiento propio. Excelente experiencia, sin dudar regresaría.

Wonderful owners. Very helpful and friendly and kind. Nice Breakfast. Good coffee. But mold all over the ceiling of the bathroom and the walls. This is absolutely NOT okay! On top of that there are a ton of ants inside. The bed was located directly behind the big kitchen wall, where the cook started at 07:00 shouting and using it which directly wakes you up.

The hosts are wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing! Bed and pillows super comfortable. It is about 20 minutes from Amalfi, even though only about 2 miles away. The only thing that bothered me was the 'housekeeping'... Our stuff was completely gone through. We put our laundry on the bottom of the wardrobe to come back and find it hung up, except our underwear. I put my suitcase next to my side of the bed and it was moved. My toothbrush was moved to a cup by the sink, which I really don't like it being touched. Our vitamins/supplements were moved each day. Chargers onto of my briefcase moved.... I'm sure they were trying to be helpful, nothing was taken, I just like my things to be gone through by anyone.

The room was amazing. It overlooked the sea and had its own balcony area which you could sit out in. The hotel is own by an Italian family that live on the site and we’re very helpful with anything we needed. From information about the local area to recommendations on places to visit and a free transfer to a local restaurant. The breakfast provided with the room was incredible. Would highly recommend this hotel. The only improvements I would make would be to replace the shower head within our room as it would sometimes not stay in place when having a shower. And the photos I have added are not of how we found the room upon check in and were before we left the room to check out.
The room was amazing. It overlooked the sea and had its own balcony area which you could sit out in. The hotel is own by an Italian family that live on the site and we’re very helpful with anything we needed. From information about the local area to recommendations on places to visit and a free transfer to a local restaurant. The breakfast provided with the room was incredible. The hosts of Solaria, Emilio and Angela were fabulous. When we first arrived we sat down with Emilio and he gave us great information on the area and the sights. We made our plans from his advice and had a great trip in the Amalfi Coast. Angela’s breakfasts every morning were delicious. She served fresh meats and cheeses from the area and her homemade cakes were so good. Our room was very clean and spacious and we loved looking at the ocean from our balcony. Solaria is a quiet, beautiful B &B above Amalfi and I would definitely stay here again.

Estivemos pela segunda vez hospedados no Solaria e foi ainda mais maravilhoso A Ângela o Emílio e o Domênico nos fazem ter a sensação de estarmos juntos de nossos parentes Os quartos são super confortáveis com ar condicionado, cama macia banheiro com uma ducha deliciosa e toalhas de um branco incrível O café da manhã é sensacional com bolos quiches e tortas preparados pela própria Ângela! Sem falar das brusquetas que são de salivar só de lembrar seu sabor Pretendo voltar e logo, daí pela terceira vez!

Wonderful owners. Very helpful and friendly and kind. Nice Breakfast. Good coffee. But mold all over the ceiling of the bathroom and the walls. This is absolutely NOT okay! On top of that there are a ton of ants inside. The bed was located directly behind the big kitchen wall, where the cook started at 07:00 shouting and using it which directly wakes you up.

Cutest Hotel with the best view you can imagine. We arrived in Napoli and took a taxi to Amalfi...the hotel is located in the mountains therefore you need to take the bus or taxi to get into town. The couple that owns it make you feel like if you are part of the family. They go out of their way to help make your stay unforgettable. The view in the morning with the home made breakfast is glorious. If you need a taxi call Ciro Cavaliere through WhatsApp... his rates are affordable and he is excellent and reliable. The hotel is excellent, specially if you are going for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Beautiful property. We had a room with a view and balcony. Nice and comfortable bed Beautiful, cooked breakfast with fresh ingredients like farmed eggs, fresh tomatoes , mozzarella and fruit. Beautifully serves coffee and tea. Little hard to get to as it’s on the hill but there is free parking if you are traveling by car. Better to arrive before sun set. Nice restaurant close by 10 min by car. There is no pool as described but a hot tub, however didn’t get to use it.

Emilio and Angelica are the perfect hosts. So welcoming, friendly, fun and helpful. They want you to be comfortable and to enjoy their home. The breakfast is delicious, Angelica bakes fresh cakes everyday - they are amazing. The property is a little remote - but they tell you this - and the price is reflective of this. For us it was the great base to explore the Amalfi coast, we had a car so did not feel stranded there. Pool area is very nice, perfect for a few hours of relaxing after a busy day hiking or sightseeing. We stayed 4 nights, just note that their plug sockets are not the standard Italian 2 pin - not sure why - so this was a bit challenging, and we had cold water a couple of mornings. Despite that their hospitality made you overlook these things

Uma experiência diferenciada e incrível ! Um tratamento e cuidado , pelos próprios donos do hotel, que jamais vi! Recomendo 100%. Se vc estiver de carro, não deixe de hospedar-se ! São 15min do centro de Amalfi. Ficamos no apartamento que tinha uma varanda exclusiva, claraboias no banheiro e em frente da cama. Uma suíte dos Deuses. Muito perfeito. O hotel tem uma vista extraordinária.

The room was amazing. It overlooked the sea and had its own balcony area which you could sit out in. The hotel is own by an Italian family that live on the site and we’re very helpful with anything we needed. From information about the local area to recommendations on places to visit and a free transfer to a local restaurant. The breakfast provided with the room was incredible. Would highly recommend this hotel. The only improvements I would make would be to replace the shower head within our room as it would sometimes not stay in place when having a shower. And the photos I have added are not of how we found the room upon check in and were before we left the room to check out.

The hosts of Solaria, Emilio and Angela were fabulous. When we first arrived we sat down with Emilio and he gave us great information on the area and the sights. We made our plans from his advice and had a great trip in the Amalfi Coast. Angela’s breakfasts every morning were delicious. She served fresh meats and cheeses from the area and her homemade cakes were so good. Our room was very clean and spacious and we loved looking at the ocean from our balcony. Solaria is a quiet, beautiful B &B above Amalfi and I would definitely stay here again.

Shuttle service to Amalfi town by the hotel and bus service frequently into town and back and night. Views were stunning and so tranquil and peaceful. Had the most amazing time.

We have just left our lovely stay at the Solaria. Emilio and Angela are the perfect hosts, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome, give you advice if you require it on where to visit. The breakfast’s are fresh and home cooked by Angela which is absolutely lovely and her lemon cake is the best cake I have ever had and will miss it each morning! I can’t rate this property enough for its relaxing atmosphere, beautiful views, welcoming hosts and would definitely like to go back in the future! Thank you

My family and I loved the owners of the property Emilio and Angela. Always attentive to our needs and more. Explained areas we could visit and helped keep costs low regarding transportation and restaurants that served excellent local cuisine without the Amalfi prices. I would recommend Solaria for any single person, couple or family with short or extended stays. We have travelled much in our lives and met many hoteliers or managers. Emilio and Angela have taken their service/establishment to a great place. Cant say enough good things but will conclude with just PERRFECT

My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Solaria! Emilio and Angela were the best hosts we could have asked for and made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, fed us a gorgeous breakfast every morning and helped us to navigate the confusing bus system. They also gave great restaurant suggestions in San Lazzaro which is just a 15 min walk up some (very steep) steps. Everything was clean and perfect!

I love the peace and quiet. The view was immaculate. I love that the hosts prepare breakfast for you fresh, daily and tasty pastries. I love how available everything was the only downfall, I wish the shuttle runs more than once or had more than one shuttle. If you miss the shuttle, you’re out of luck unfortunately. It is hard to catch the bus. Be sure to have a taxi driver number on standby. Other than that, my friend and I absolutely loved it. Great place to sleep, and everything was comfortable.

Our stay at Solaria was absolutely wonderful! The location, though not central, was great for quiet relaxation, and amazing sea and mountain views, whilst remaining reasonably accessible to the coast by public transport. A special mention must be made of Angela and Emilio - they are beautiful souls and their warmth made our stay extra-memorable. Oh, and the breakfast!

I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Especially if would would like to spend the mornings and nights away from the hustle and bustle of the port and super busy tourist areas. The hosts are incredible and helpful. Breakfasts are amazing.

Beautiful, peaceful and serene property and breakfast was amazing . It is away from the loudness and liveliness of the Amalfi coast and offers tranquility. With that said nothing is really within walking distance. You will definitely need a Vespa/ scooter to get to places. The owner is great at coordinating for you! He linked us with a scooter rental service which was great, they even dropped off the Vespa at the property!

Our favorite stay in our honeymoon to Italy. The hotel is quite far away from the city (20-30 minute drive) and there is not a large amount of buses available (one at 11h30 am), so longer stays or those without cars may find it difficult to move around.

Solaria provided us a free shuttle to downtown Amalfi for shopping and any sea excursion we desired. Emilo and Angela are attentive to their guests needs but allow for privacy as well. They are excellent hosts. Close by is a delicious restaurant, El Niño, and the owner will drive you there and back. We highly recommend staying at Solaria and hope to return again in the years to come. Blessings always to Solaria.

My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Solaria! Emilio and Angela were the best hosts we could have asked for and made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, fed us a gorgeous breakfast every morning and helped us to navigate the confusing bus system. They also gave great restaurant suggestions in San Lazzaro which is just a 15 min walk up some (very steep) steps. Everything was clean and perfect!

Fantastiskt boende och ett helt underbart värdpar!! Dem gör allt för att man ska trivas. Erbjuder fri shuttle fram och tillbaks från Amalfi centrum dagligen. En helt underbar frukost varje dag, personlig och välsmakande! Vi kommer definitivt bo här om vi återvänder!! Dem får högsta betyg,10 av 10 möjliga.

We had the best stay at Solaria! Emilio and Angela were wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home. Emilio helped us with all our transportation needs and tourist recommendations while Angela served us delicious breakfast (and homemade cakes) every morning. They both showed us such kindness and interest in our lives & travels. The room was very comfortable and the views were absolutely astonishing. We would love to visit again soon!

Very welcoming family run B&B, with a gorgeous homemade breakfast. The place is beautiful with a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi, all overlooking the amazing amalfi coastline. You feel right at home here and I could not recommend staying here more.

There are places you visit, and then there are places that stay with you long after you’ve left. My girlfriend and I stayed at Solaria for my 30th birthday, and what we found there was so much more than a place to sleep while exploring the Amalfi Coast. We found warmth, kindness, and a level of hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare in the world. The property itself is breathtaking. Every morning and evening, we found ourselves staring at the coastline wondering if the view was actually real. The photographs online are beautiful, but they cannot capture what it feels like to sit there in person, watching the light change over the sea and mountains. Then one day my girlfriend planned with them and Angela, Antonella, and Emilio surprised me at breakfast with balloons, a special birthday cake, and music. It wasn’t a grand gesture done for attention. It was something far more meaningful. It was personal. It was thoughtful. It was genuine. As I sat there looking around at my girlfriend, the view, the food, and the people who had shown us such kindness, I realized something: The best part of Solaria isn’t the location. It’s the feeling. The feeling that someone truly cares about your experience. The feeling of being welcomed. The feeling of being remembered. The feeling of being family. Some hotels provide a room.
