The old, traditional Waldbauer chalet has 2 bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a gas and wood burning stove, a large table and seating area, and a bathroom with a small bathtub. All water is heated by an iron stove, and the toilet is outside and functions without water, there is no electricity. A fireplace and barbecue facilities can be used on site free of charge, and the property’s spring provides drinking water. Guests may bring up to 2 horses, and paddocks with shelters can be organized by the Almhütte against a surcharge. Guests are welcome to visit a partner castle, a 15-minute drive away and enjoy walks in the beautiful garden or try fishing in the pond. A hunting lodge can be visited against a surcharge, and guests can join hunters in a shoot. Activities that are offered at the partner property free of charge include hiking, berry and mushroom collecting and beekeeping.
