When I selected thie property the Expedia add said it had a pool which it does not. Also I thought I was getting a suite with an ocean view but ended up in a basement suite

Master bed was large and comfortable. Space large enough to accommodate at least 6 people comfortably. We didn't like that there was no basic condiments available and there was no laundry in our unit. If you have mobility issues there are a lot of stairs (at least in the unit we stayed in).

Large 3 bedroom, very outdated. Needs a lot of work, with carpets and tub surrounding. Beds were great, very comfortable. We thought there was a pool but there wasn’t miss represented. It had air which was great and the location was nice. Holyrood was a lovely place to visit. Cleaning staff were awesome, we would have been lost without Rita.

It had air which was great and the location was nice. Holyrood was a lovely place to visit. Cleaning staff were awesome, we would have been lost without Rita.

Avoir un logement si grand à si peu de frais, c'est étonnant. Je voyage beaucoup et c'est probablement ce que j'ai trouvé de mieux rapport qualité prix. Nous avons été accueillie par les propriétaires assez âgés, surprenant que l'accueil se trouve dans leur résidence principale :) Le logement est spacieux et comporte tout ce qui est nécessaire pour cuisiner. Le personnel d'entretien est très sympathique. Situé sur une rue peu passante, c'est le calme la nuit venue. Pour les commentaires qui parlent de mobilier vieux, je qualifierais plutôt d'ancien, vintage... car tout est très propre. Les matelas sont très confortables. Et pour ceux qui ont de la difficulté a trouvé l'emplacement, entrer l'adresse plutôt que le point GPS. J'oubliais, laveuse sécheuse dans le sous sol d'un de leur édifice, super pratique. Nous visitons St John et Avalon, donc la situation centrale du logement était parfaite. Beau souvenir de notre séjour.

Space was fine for what we got, but the listing said it had a queen bed, and it was definitely a double. The listing also said there was a pool, but there wasn’t. There were also about 15 stairs to our space, which we weren’t expecting

The property was 2-storey 3-bedroom condominium. It was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with kitchen supplies. It's only 30 minutes away from St. John's, and almost $100/night cheaper. It was a perfect launching spot for sightseeing in the Avalon Peninsula. Would stay again in a heartbeat

We were in the area to visit family and booked through Expedia who did not notify the property,We were able to rebook on our own to stay there for six nights.We stayed in a basement unit which was damp and needed a good cleaning under the bed and minor mould in the washroom.The beds were comfortable and we had a good visit with family but unless we were hard pressed for a place to stay won't be rebooking.

We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday night and heading to St. John's the following morning for back to school shopping. Would recommend Comerford's to anyone.

Property decor was dated but everything was clean, kitchen was stocked and the owners were very kind, walked us to our apartment showed us around and made sure we had no problems. Very spacious with both a kitchen table and dining room table. Going to stay there longer we I return to Newfoundland.

Property overall is well kept. I expect an ocean view but our suit was in the basement which is unexpected. You can hear foot steps of people who accomodate oabove us. Wifi at first work then the next day were not able to connect and were out all day so not really thats the only thing we would like. Water 8s not hot in the shower..i would say mild.

Extra old building. We got unit 7 (one bedroom) in the basement. Furniture is ok but old and tired. Comfortable bed. A lot of noise from the unit above untill after midnight. Is like sleeping in grand parents old farm house. Horses and cows are missing. It was okay for the price.

The owner unlocked the door for us and came inside the property and stayed for about 5 minutes which i thought was eerie. I had my 4 year old with me so I was more worried about him. The property was dirty. There were hair on the stove top, in the fridge, on the bed, in the bathroom. There was dirty floor, lamp shades were dark with stain or mould. I felt very uncomfortable at this property.

Great place to stay - especially if you have a vehicle. It's farther away from St John's than we thought. About $100 taxi ride one way. Too much to do that very often. It is really comfortable and the neighbors are wonderful.

Avoir un logement si grand à si peu de frais, c'est étonnant. Je voyage beaucoup et c'est probablement ce que j'ai trouvé de mieux rapport qualité prix. Nous avons été accueillie par les propriétaires assez âgés, surprenant que l'accueil se trouve dans leur résidence principale :) Le logement est spacieux et comporte tout ce qui est nécessaire pour cuisiner. Le personnel d'entretien est très sympathique. Situé sur une rue peu passante, c'est le calme la nuit venue. Pour les commentaires qui parlent de mobilier vieux, je qualifierais plutôt d'ancien, vintage... car tout est très propre. Les matelas sont très confortables. Et pour ceux qui ont de la difficulté a trouvé l'emplacement, entrer l'adresse plutôt que le point GPS. J'oubliais, laveuse sécheuse dans le sous sol d'un de leur édifice, super pratique. Nous visitons St John et Avalon, donc la situation centrale du logement était parfaite. Beau souvenir de notre séjour.

Accommodation was okay, everything worked but furniture, oven, bed etc were very dated. Not much interaction with staff. Everything was okay. Nothing special about the accommodation, but worked for what we needed for our 3 night stay. Just off highway, with parking.

Everything was as we needed, lots of towels and it was a comfortable stay. One thing to add to the kitchen is a lobster cracker, as we had a lobster and could of used one to crack it open. Great host!!!

We had a bit of trouble finding it as GPS took us to a different location, though all else was great. Clean, comfortable, affordable and in a good location for the plans we had in the area. It was a quick and easy checkin. We ate takeout from Wongs House - just a few buildings away - and highly recommend it. The bed was comfortable and loved that all the towels were new. We recommend Comerfords!

It was a good central location to explore the whole Avalon Peninsula from. While we were away the host came in and emptied our garbage and gave us fresh towels
