Worth the drive out to Bayside to be on the water. Suites were well equipped, with kitchen necessities, nice outdoor covered sitting area with table and chairs. Especially enjoyed the waterside deck.

The room was very clean and nicely updated. Kitchenette was well equipped. Bathroom was beautifully updated. The outdoor space with large grassy area and seating at the waterfront was beautiful. Large grassy area was great for my dog. Very lovely staff.

Beautiful little spot. We were on our way back from Quebec and needed a half way point stop. I wish we could of stayed a little longer and plan to go back to this hotel for a few days stay. The staff were very friendly. The place felt very comfortable as a whole and had a very welcoming and "chill vibe". The view from our room was beautiful as well. Right on the lake. Fire pit and chairs on the water for use. Tim Hortons and a gas station is conveniently accross the street. Would definetly recommend. Best of all, theyre pet friendly. ♡

There was a wharf and comfortable places to sit overlooking the marina and the river. The room on the second floor was spacious and there was a kitchenette with beer mugs and wine glasses. A balcony terrace outside the room had a table and chairs where one could read and sip a beer.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. I was accidentally placed in a newly renovated room first which I was very impressed with. I was moved to the actual room I had booked which had more room. It had not been newly renovated but it was still nice. Both had a little kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee, kettle, little sink with a few supplies. This area (not the hotel's fault) has a train that goes by a few times each night as well as multiple through the day. It lies right on the water and has beautiful waterfront advantage. Easy access in and out of hotel with Tim Horton's and gas station across the street. Maybe I missed it in the advertisement but I did not receive room service to my room during the 2 night stay (new towel, coffee replenishment, more toilet paper). Not a big deal, but if it had been more than just me the services wouldn't have worked without going to the front desk. Otherwise, it would be a 5 star stay. I look forward to staying again at this location. It surpassed my expectations!

Was on the water front, with ample seating, clean and well taken care of. Buildings and parking lots very clean and neat. Had a constant companion, the train witch is right across the street and ran multiple times day and night horn blowing as there was a crossing their.

Dirty room, bed, bathroom, commode, kitchen, refrigerator, lights, sofa, door, fan. Everything was having spider webs and dirt. Also mosquitoes were there. Bathroom toiletries were used and expired. Even coffee and suger suppliers were expired.

The room had no closet. The coat rack is on the wall practically hanging over your head when you are in the bed. The place was full of spiders and cobwebs. There were gaps near the door and air conditioner that were so wide you could see right through them. The roof and wall were covered with stains where bugs had been squished months ago that were never cleaned up and just left there. The shower curtain was growing mold. I should have listened to the other reviews and picked somewhere else. The location was convenient for my stay but everything else left much to be desired.

Room was not well cleaned. Room was not ready at agreed upon time and we were shifted to a different less large room to accomodate with no price rebate. Walls were thin and late night guests were noisy . Kitchen poorly stocked. Lakefront was best feature with dock and chairs to sit out.

The views were very pretty, unfortunately the inside was not so much. Very dated, air conditioner did not work well and was very noisy, and many of the outlets in the room did not work at all. A lot of spiders and cobwebs. :(

Si vous aimez dormir avec des mouches et araignées, c’est l’endroit rêvé! La salle de bain et la petite cuisine sont propres, mais le reste est vraiment indigne d’un hôtel qui se dit 3 étoiles et surtout pour un prix dépassant 200$ la nuitée. Serviettes trouées et tachées, lits à peine secoués entre les réservations (check in prévu a 15:00, la chambre n’était prête qu’à 15:40, ce qui semblait normal au gérant de l’hôtel, aucun soupçon d’excuse, mais ce n’est pas encore trop grave, nous avions le temps) Seulement, nous avons donc vu le room service se dépêcher et…ne pas changer la literie au final, ça ne sentait pas mauvais c’est vrai, mais pas mal de longs cheveux dans les couvertures et draps nous attendaient à notre arrivée…sentiment très étrange… ! De plus, annonce mensongère, la chambre indique pour 6 pers (5 adultes, 1 enfants) mais ce n’est que pour 5! Un des enfants a dû dormir par terre, et me canapé convertible ne disposait pas de matelas à l’intérieur, une sacrée désillusion! Lorsque l’on redescend voir le manager 1h plus tard pour lui faire part de la situation, et lui expliquer notre surprise, il se contente de dire «\xa0Oui c’est propre, le ménage est fait, et c’est la faute d’Expedia si il est indiqué 6 personnes, ce n’est pas une chambre 6 personnes, vous devriez nous appeler au lieu de passer par eux, et louer 2 chambres plutôt qu’une\xa0»…. Quel professionnalisme ;) ! Plainte déposée auprès d’Expédia.

Trains that run every hour and blast their horns. I totally get not the fault of the hotel. However, we got there very very late at night and just crashed. When we woke up in the morning, I thought ok, not a bad room. A bit out dated but who cares! Well then my son couldn’t find his cell phone so I looked under the beds…DONT LOOK UNDER THE BEDA!!! Omg they have not been cleaned in years!!!! Then I looked to the side of the bed, between the side of the bed and wall, I had to ouch the bed out a bit, but not much. A men’s pair of dirty underwear and a ladies boot and a dirty sock which was not ours….. However I would say this would be a nice hotel being on the water.

The room was smelly, spider webs everywhere. Yes, there is a nuce view but a little effort with the cleaning needs to be done. The air in the room felt like it has been closed for many days.

This is a nice property. I have stayed here a few times. The property has a beautiful waterfront area with seating to enjoy the sunset/water. I have stayed twice in the Deluxe Room which offers a more spacious room with 2 Queen beds. A small kitchenette is perfect with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, bar sink, some assorted plates, etc. There is an air conditioner & hair dryer as well. This particular room just needs a freshening. There are smaller rooms that have been updated and they seem very nice (I was accidentally put in a refreshed room once, then moved to the proper room I had booked). Outside the hotel, there is a gas station & convenience across the street. A pedestrian/bike walkway is to the right of the property. Approx 1.3 km walk or drive gets you to the Dollarama & a grocery store. Checking in & out was easy. The train goes by nearby. Off season you can hear it moreso. My recent stay the air conditioner was on so the train noise was muffled. Overall, I will continue to use this property, the pricing and location are good for my needs. It is “outside” Kingston so it seems to take at least 15 mins or so to get to most Kingston activities if that’s your interest.

The folks are nice but this is a refurbished motel from the 70s. The door to my room was old and hard to lock. It was noisy because it’s so close to the road.

Very nice staff, and simple clean room. No plugs accessible near the beds, TV is crooked and bathroom is a bit tired. Easy location to access and nice view of the water in the morning. Overall a decent place to spend a night or two for a good price.
Very nice staff, and simple clean room. No plugs accessible near the beds, TV is crooked and bathroom is a bit tired. Easy location to access and nice view of the water in the morning. Overall a decent place to spend a night or two for a good price.

When we arrived the lobby was locked and there was no staff. We rang and waited. While we were waiting, another couple arrived. When a man arrived he was flustered, he was new, and didn't know what he was doing. For some reason he wanted to help the other couple first. when he finally got to us he had great dificulty in checking us in. I asked if I could change the credit card that I was using to pay the bill (from the one I had used to make the reservation). When he didn't know how to do that I said it was OK, it didn't matter but he continued wasting time trying to do it. When we finally got to our room, it was clean and spacious although somewhat dated. However it was cold. The only heater was a very small plug in space heater that my we did not want to turn on and leave unattended. We had to leave almost immediately for our dinner and theatre plans. When we returned and activated the small heater, it proved to be totally inadequate. Again, the lobby was not staffed when we checked out. It should be against the law to charge for accomodations that are not heated in the dead of winter.

Room was crowded and old... beds were comfortable. Yard sale type appliances. Only thing good about the air conditioner, was it almost drowned out the noise of the ftains whistling outside the room all day and all niht.

It was a nice place to stay for a short visit. The rooms were nothing like the pictures. The place is in need of an upgrade. None of the reviews mentioned that the train tracks were so close by. Across the street. One of the lights in an area where we need it was burnt out. The complimentary bathrobe was missing the tie, and looks like it has been worn too much and thrown into the closet. We could not change the volume on the TV.

It is ok for a one night stay. There is a restaurant walking distance and a Tim Hortons. The bathroom is very dated, air conditioner does not work and you hear the trains several times a night. That being said the beds and WIFI are good. Linens are all clean.

This is a nice property. I have stayed here a few times. The property has a beautiful waterfront area with seating to enjoy the sunset/water. I have stayed twice in the Deluxe Room which offers a more spacious room with 2 Queen beds. A small kitchenette is perfect with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, bar sink, some assorted plates, etc. There is an air conditioner & hair dryer as well. This particular room just needs a freshening. There are smaller rooms that have been updated and they seem very nice (I was accidentally put in a refreshed room once, then moved to the proper room I had booked). Outside the hotel, there is a gas station & convenience across the street. A pedestrian/bike walkway is to the right of the property. Approx 1.3 km walk or drive gets you to the Dollarama & a grocery store. Checking in & out was easy. The train goes by nearby. Off season you can hear it moreso. My recent stay the air conditioner was on so the train noise was muffled. Overall, I will continue to use this property, the pricing and location are good for my needs. It is “outside” Kingston so it seems to take at least 15 mins or so to get to most Kingston activities if that’s your interest.

Accueil catastrophique , l’accueil ne trouvait pas notre réservation. J’ai dû insister et montrer que j’avais déjà payé, ». Suite crasseuse plein de poussière dans l’air. La publicité est mensongère sur Expedia. Pas de petit déjeuner offert . Je me suis plains , il me dit d’aller me plaindre ou je veux. Au réveil devant la porte on voit une souris morte. Les enfants étaient dégoûtés.fuyez cet hôtel!!!

The property and room were amazing ! The room was newly renovated and the view was beautiful. We only had one problem the toilet was not working properly. It didn't flush and we had to get a plunger . The man at the front desk was very helpful regarding the problem . Overall a lovely stay .

This is nicely located nearby to the water (though the train tracks nearby are very active). They were also accomodating for our dog who is on the larger side. Enjoyed some of the updates that appear to be in the process of being completed; however alot of the work work around the property appeared to be completed poorly. For example, trim missing around doorway and holes through to the outside around the air conditioner. There were no accesible outlets near the bed and one of the side lamps didn't work. The electronics were plugged into a single power cord and the lights would sometimes flicker when we turned things on or off. Matress was extremely uncomfortable and sheets had grease stains. The person tending the front desk came across as though he didn't care about his job and would very much prefer not to have been bothered with anything.

The rooms are dirty, there are insects in the room, the wifi did not work two out of the three days we were there, no staff or management to be found most of the day (especially when guests are checking out).

The staff were so friendly and gave us information on the area as we were there for an open house at St. Lawrence College and to see a Frontenac game. The room was spotless and beautiful.

Awful There is train tracks across the street For some reason the via trains honk their horns in front of motel Guestimate a horn every 20 minutes in the evening LOUD Would not advertise this place at all My room was about 15 feet from the street as well, traffic noise Bathroom worked, that's all I can say

Beautiful little spot. We were on our way back from Quebec and needed a half way point stop. I wish we could of stayed a little longer and plan to go back to this hotel for a few days stay. The staff were very friendly. The place felt very comfortable as a whole and had a very welcoming and "chill vibe". The view from our room was beautiful as well. Right on the lake. Fire pit and chairs on the water for use. Tim Hortons and a gas station is conveniently accross the street. Would definetly recommend. Best of all, theyre pet friendly. ♡

Was on the water front, with ample seating, clean and well taken care of. Buildings and parking lots very clean and neat. Had a constant companion, the train witch is right across the street and ran multiple times day and night horn blowing as there was a crossing their.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris de ce motel, propreté et alentours. Malheureusement, peut être que nous n'avons pas eu de chance car je n' ai pas vu ce détail, de nombreux trains ont circulé et klaxonné même la nuit sur la voie ferrée proche...

Was not impressed with the room at all their was lots of flies not overly clean either i booked a room with a spa and it didn't even work plus there was supposed to have complimentary coffee in the room and was none had to walk somewhere to get coffee needless to say my first time there and definitely my last

Expedia listing indicates the property had a restaurant and breakfast. That is false advertising, there is no restaurant within that property. Very noisy place with regular loud train whistles and track noises.

Well kept and managed older and slightly “dated” motel, beautiful setting which would be great in summer and fall, maybe spring. Inexpensive. No breakfast although advertises as such on the website. But local breakfast spots available. A secret gem.

I enjoyed my stay and with the excellent waterfront lounging area, it is truly a nice place. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable...nice bathroom!!

La chambre toute rénovée, les lits étaient confortables, la mise à disposition d une kitchenette pour cuisiner, ont été des bons points pour passer un agréable moment dans cet hôtel. Petit moment sympa au bord de l’eau le soir sur les chaises prévues à cet effet ! Seul point négatif : le passage d’un train plusieurs fois dans la nuit, klaxonnant fort…. Mais si vous emmenez des bouchons d’oreille , c’est correct !

I’ve never, in my many years of road trips left a 1 star review. Sure, it backs onto a pretty lake, but people should review more on the sleeping accommodation. Emailed and apologized to say I was arriving at 12am. Arrived at 12:05am and spent 15mins calling and knocking trying to get a response at reception as it was all locked up. Finally someone came down. Reception area had empty drink can and food box on a table. Lots of hand written signs about everything, and felt like I’d walked into someone’s front room. The incidental hold was $300. I don’t think I’ve ever had that high of a hold, even at an upscale hotel. Reception area picture on Hotels.com is definitely not the picture of what you walk into. Got to the junior suite room and there were flying bugs over the walls, ceiling, and on the beds. If it wasn’t so late, I would have got in the car and driven 30miles to the next town. The bugs would fall down and land on you in the night. I am not exaggerating! I was traveling with my family and felt bad to have had them stay there. The people might have been nice, but I’m paying to sleep in a room, and this motel left me feeling uncomfortable.

Staff très accommodant, chambre ne respecte pas description, on a réserver une chambre 2 lits deluxe ….. oufff absolument rien de deluxe , sans balcon , sans vue et avec un seul lit double. Directement sur la rue passante avec un train qui passe en criant à chaque heure. Grandement besoin de rénovation dans les chambres, la propriété et le quai semblaient être récemment rénové mais pas les chambres ni le lobby qui était un ramassis de « quosins » Table de pique-nique disponible mais BBQ non utilisable. 15 minutes du centre-ville.
