Room served the purpose, very old hotel with not many upgrades. We were only there to sleep and met our needs, was visiting family and selected to save a few bucks on a less expensive room. Parking was horrible as others parked in the spot designated for your room.

No pool as advertised. Very old and run down. Burn holes in bed cover. Restaurant/ bar was inedible. Eggs were so greasy that I couldn’t eat them. It was quiet in spite of being a truck stop so I did get some sleep on rock hard bed. Had signed, saying soft beds, but I believe that was a joke.

The room was clean and efficient for my needs. It was reasonably priced considering how prices have gone up lately all over. Minimal coffee in the morning but if you are a drinker they sell six packs in the office . Minimal local tv. Extremely basic cable.

The good: I really liked how the owner responded to every review on expedia, addressing the concerns of everyone and reminding people that it\'s just a motel and not the taj mahal. The price point was good. No bedbugs. The staff is friendly and seemed fairly responsive. The "truck side" was not that loud. The bad: The sheets were stained badly. Please just buy new ones. The shower drain backed up. The floors need a good cleaning. This place was just barely clean enough for me to stay here. To the owner... please put more time into cleaning and facilities maintenance. I believe you\'re right on the envelope of having a decent, cost-efficient motel or a dirty dump that no one want to stay at soon.

This is a great little motel and I almost hate to review it because I don't want other people finding it LOL. I stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and it was lovely. The place is quiet the staff is very helpful and friendly and the facility is clean and comfortable.

An older motel, but the room we stayed in was large, clean, and comfortable. The AC was effective and quiet, though many of the other rooms had window units unlike our more usual below-the-window one. The best thing was that we discovered the Aqua Pazzo 10 minutes away, an authentic and beautiful Italian restaurant with $14 pasta specials on Tuesdays. The worst thing about the motel was the coffee (undrinkable for me) and no coffee maker in the room, but there are to get coffee right nearby. Overall a good deal.

It was a very nice room. Was told it was one of the newer rooms. No complaints but suggestions: thicker/more pillows and maybe a grab bar in the shower for older folks to hold onto if needed. And hubby suggests taller toilets. Lol. Would definitely recommend and will probably return next year when we go back to Canfield Fair.

Place definitely takes the dont judge a book by its cover to the extreme. Looks iffy from pictures and physically outside but the room was impressive. The bed was less than impressive and the pillows but it was not a deal breaker. I would give this place a 8/10 stars , good place for a night if you need to stay someplace quick.

Customer service is above and beyond! Prior to my planned stay, I called and spoke with Mr. Murray Davis himself to change nights, and he was super helpful. Then, upon arriving, I had the pleasure of getting checked in by Shannon. What a sweetheart! I was also given a little goodie bag with water bottles and treats. The room is spacious and comfortable. The heating/cooling system worked well. It conveniently has a fridge and microwave, and it even had an air purifier (first time I’ve ever seen one of those). The wifi signal was strong and worked great. The mattress is quite firm, which I like, but may be too hard for others. Lots of appreciated details in this charming, family-run motel. Good value for the money.

Road trip! So I was focused on a clean, safe, quiet night's sleep. Mission accomplished! Friendly staff, ice machine functional. Unique "gift" welcome presentation that was very appropriate and unexpected. TV, mini-fridge, micro, good WiFi. Short walk to dinner restaurant, gas station nearby too. I'll be back!

Very friendly. Yes its older motel, but very clean, safe and easy access. Would definitely stay again.

An older motel, but the room we stayed in was large, clean, and comfortable. The AC was effective and quiet, though many of the other rooms had window units unlike our more usual below-the-window one. The best thing was that we discovered the Aqua Pazzo 10 minutes away, an authentic and beautiful Italian restaurant with $14 pasta specials on Tuesdays. The worst thing about the motel was the coffee (undrinkable for me) and no coffee maker in the room, but there are to get coffee right nearby. Overall a good deal.

The listing on your website was completely inaccurate, your listing says the property has a restaurant and bar, it has neither. the property was in terrible shape, when I pulled into the lot, i wasnt sure if the place was even open. the staff was nice, but the property was terrible, wold not stay there again. you need to update your listing of this property, is not accurate

The owner is delightful to work with and very engaging. It is an older facility with a lot of character. Everything is clean and working with out much in the way of frills, but it definitely provides for a quiet and comfortable night of rest. There is a truck stop with a McDonalds next door for a quick meal and gas and go. If you want an excellent Italian cuisine meal, Steamers is just .3 miles down the road. It has a truly wonderful menu of pasta, fish, meat and veggies options at prices that are reasonable for the 4-5 ⭐️ quality fair they offer in a family atmosphere.

Road trip! So I was focused on a clean, safe, quiet night's sleep. Mission accomplished! Friendly staff, ice machine functional. Unique "gift" welcome presentation that was very appropriate and unexpected. TV, mini-fridge, micro, good WiFi. Short walk to dinner restaurant, gas station nearby too. I'll be back!

A good option compared to the high priced big guys. Clean basic motel room with standard amenities: a/c, tv w/free cable, microwave, refrigerator/freezer. Quiet. Conveniently right off the interstate. Eateries not too far up the road. Friendly staff.

No pool as advertised. Very old and run down. Burn holes in bed cover. Restaurant/ bar was inedible. Eggs were so greasy that I couldn’t eat them. It was quiet in spite of being a truck stop so I did get some sleep on rock hard bed. Had signed, saying soft beds, but I believe that was a joke.

This was just what I needed. A place to sleep and shower. It was simple and clean. I grew up in the area and knew it was reparable. I didn't pay for things I didn't need. Spa, Weight room, pool etc. I will stay here in the future. I was given a welcome goodie bag that did come in handy. Although I didn't need to use them there are restaurants and store very close.

The room was clean and efficient for my needs. It was reasonably priced considering how prices have gone up lately all over. Minimal coffee in the morning but if you are a drinker they sell six packs in the office . Minimal local tv. Extremely basic cable.

Staff great. Do not be deceived by the outdoor appearance which looks dated. The rooms are very clean; nice bedding and pillows, very simple. Bathroom totally functional. Great value for the price and superb location. I'm very happy I stayed there. And the air conditioning, one of those wall units, was reasonably quiet. Parking easy.

Was not happy when I got my key and went to the room. It was just a bedroom door lock and key. One bed had some hair in it and had a few stains on the sheets. Went back to office to get new sheets and she was a bit sarcastic when giving new sheets which she had to go look for in a closet(in a bundle, not folded). The shower had rusty shower curtain holders ( plastic ones are cheaper) and there was mild in the corners of the shower. About a whole tube of caulking used to seal the toilet to the floor. Overall, not a good experience. VERY SURPRISED IT HAD A 9.0 rating. Only reason I booked it. Big mistake.

I checked in late but the woman at tbe desk was very friendly and helpful, and the "welcome bag" with bottled water and snacks much appreciated. The room was dated, but very clean.

I was not going to write a review, but I think in this case it needs to be written, I booked this place because it got a 8.6 , not sure how this is even possible for an 8.6 rating apparently these people have never stayed in a motel in their life, this has been family run for about 50 years but they need to really get their property together ,get the people that are living there to move along, this place is surrounded by three truck stops the parking lot is dingy dark scary no lighting in the back of the property there's a broken down cars back of the woods, I was alone traveling by myself I was so scared the first night and I booked five nights ,that I did not return, I took my stuff and left, I came back the day after and checked out the girl was nice she gave me $100 refund, out of the $350 because I told her I did not feel safe at all and she says oh yeah the police monitor the parking lot because they're looking for people with warrants that is not a good reputation for a motel, I do have to say the staff was very nice and I know the owners are trying to keep the motel in business, but they really need to reevaluate the situation and make it more safe and accommodating for solo travelers, redo the parking lot get some better lighting and some security and fix the other side of the hotel so it doesn't like you're staying in a back alley,it was pretty scary, I never like to say bad things about places but I would have to say this place is one of the worst I've stayed in
