Superbe hotel mais déçue de ne pas etre tombée sur une chambre au decor plus "église"... SPA, hammam pas assez de vapeur à mon goût, jacuzzi que des bulles au milieu et aucun jet côté dos, sauna pas trop chaud et plus d\'eau dans le bac, tourie d\'eau vide => 30€ de supplément ! Petit déjeuner IMPECCABLE, DÉLICIEUX. mon coffre s\'est bloqué mais tres vite, ils viennent me l\'ouvrir.

There was no parking available. No coffee at breakfast. No staff on the bar .

Leider ist der Spa nur für 1h nutzbar gewesen und kostet auch noch 15€. Sauna war nur bei 60Grad, das ist auch nicht wirklich warm. ansonsten sauber und ruhig, gutes Frühstück.

Super accueil. Endroit calme bien que ce soit en centre ville. Parking privatif cher 25 € la nuit mais j'ai trouvé de la place dans la rue (gratuit jusqu'à 9h). Excellent accueil et belles infrastructures. Rapport qualité prix intéressant. Je reviendrai.

Nice Rooms, restaurant and bar closed 2 nights of the week

Single night stay driving from the Nordics to southern France. Worked really well. Paid but reasonable parking, somewhat old gym, middle of town location with nice Italian restaurant next door (remember to book ahead) or short walk to numerous more touristy restaurants and bars. Would stay again.

Hôtel très bien situé Ma chambre se situait dans l'annexe, autrement dit cela oblige à sortir du bâtiment principal et vous ne bénéficiez nullement de l'originalité du site Pas de savon au lavabo, ce qui oblige à rentrer dans la douche pour se laver les mains ! Petit déjeuner assez médiocre et parking extérieur très cher Pas de restauration le lundi

Hotel was ok. Good location. We were on the second floor in a room with no windows. Very dark and not very welcoming room. Absolutely boiling hot and no air con as it doesn’t get turned on until April. Was at reception 2am asking for a fan. Parking is expensive. Breakfast was average. Hotel is clean and in a good spot and the reception staff were friendly.

Un super séjour. La chambre était très belle, bien équipée et conforme à notre réservation. Nous avions privatiser un des spas et ce fut un excellent moment. Nous reviendrons très certainement

Nous avons réservé dans votre hôtel car nous sommes tombés sous le Charme des chambres mises en avant sur votre site. Quelle ne fût pas notre déception de voir que la notre ne ressemblait en rien à ce que vous montrez. Aucun vitrail... aucun rappel du bâtiment d'origine comme mentionné sur vos photos..quel dommage. De plus, le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain aurait grand besoin d'être remplacé tellement il est décoloré et oxidé. La chaise du bureau est également en piteux état, le tissu s'effrite sur tout le dossier. Fort heureusement, votre personnel attentionné relève la note finale.

Very clean , good restaurant

Chambre vétuste moquette hors d'âge. La chambre est spacieuse mais complètement démodée. Le parking est hors de prix 25 euros je ne trouve pas ça normal.

We hadden geboekt voor een prijzige luxueuze kamer. Het was een mooie kamer met een indrukwekkend glasraam maar de kamer was helaas veel te warm ( 25 graden) en er was geen mogelijkheid om een raam te openen. Aan de balie zeiden ze dat er enkel in de zomer airco is, in de winter komt er enkel warme lucht uit. Hierdoor was het niet mogelijk om onze kamer af te koelen. Ook was deze kamer een beetje aftands en was er inkijk vanaf de straat. We kregen zonder problemen een nieuwe kamer met indrukwekkende zuilen en hoge plafonds. Deze was veel aangenamer en veel groter dan de vorige, ondanks dat deze in dezelfde prijscategorie viel. We begrepen niet waarom we niet gelijk deze kamer hadden gekregen. Ook was het bed veel beter (de vorige had een hele zachte matras). Hier hebben we heerlijk geslapen en een rustige nacht gehad. Ook de badkamer was heel mooi en netjes. De spa faciliteiten hebben we niet gebruikt omdat deze heel prijzig waren en niet beschikbaar op de avond van ons verblijf. De locatie is perfect in het centrum. We hadden een gratis parkeerplaats op 10 minuten wandelen van het hotel.

We paid for a De-Lux room which is the most expensive room but they gave the lowest level room & we complained, showed our reservation then they said yes we will look 👀 if we have the free De Lux room! Wireless/Internet is 💀 & not working at all, however we complained several times & they promised to do something but nothings happened 😩 In the hotel homepage they have the price of Parking 🅿️ the Car 15.€ per night but at the reception they want 24.99€ per night!!!

Stunning property, Stayed in one of the premium rooms and the high ceilings were luxurious. Breakfast was quaint and unique. Only thing I was u sure if was the shuttered unit in the room. Everything else was perfection.

Room was good. No view as it was blocked up at old church style windows and only a very small part allowing natural light into the room.

Schoon, netjes en een grote kamer. Het is een oude kerk omgebouwd tot hotel we hadden een te gek stuk oud raam van de kerk echt waanzinnig. Maar de airco maakte lawaai en deed het niet. Buiten was het koeler dan de 27 graden in de kamer dat was een echte hete tegenvaller.

Upon check-in the reception inform me that I had been “upgraded” to a room located in annex building. I had explicitly reserved the main building to enjoy the charm of the old church! While being a larger room bathe decoration was quite basic and impersonal, the internet didn’t work and it was very, very noisy due to lack of isolation in the emergency door facing the hotel parking lot gate. Result, what was expected to be a relax romantic night end up in sleepless night due to the noises of the garage gate. The breakfast was good, but it didn’t overcome the bad night experience.

Voor een nachtje slapen is het een goed hotel. Wel erg donker en zwart. Ontbijt was goed. Kamers zijn schoon. We hadden alleen geen raam in de kamer.

Our room had no opening window (fire regs issue?) and the AC did not work on a very hot day. Asked reception and they said AC was broken but they had a room with a window that opened. We moved rooms. AC was broken in that room too.

Ma mauvaise noté s'explique par la literie qui est horrible. Un matelas mou comme du sable mouvant et penche vers l'intérieur du soi-disant lit double qui est en réalité deux lits simples de mauvaise qualité collés.

Mooi hotel in centrum. Heel goed ontbijt. Na klachten over de airco kregen we snel een nieuwe kamer waarbij probleem prima verholpen werd. Aanrader

We were very impressed with the service. We were given quite a small room with stairs to the toilet and when I asked at reception for a room change we were given a much better room!

We zijn teleurgesteld over ons verblijf in Martin\'s Dream. We hadden ervoor gekozen meer te betalen dan een standaard hotel zodat we de beleving zouden hebben in een kerk en een 4-sterren hotel te slapen, maar de kamer voldeed geenszins aan die verwachting. De kamer was volledig gestript van elke referentie naar het originele gebouw, dus dit kon een zolderkamer zijn in elk willekeurig gebouw in Bergen. Voor die prijs - 350 euro voor 2 nachten - had het ook een zolderkamer in Barcelona, Rome of Amsterdam kunnen zijn. Daarnaast was de kamer niet bepaald 4-sterren. Het matras was slecht. Als je in het midden lag, rolde je naar 1 kant uit bed. Ook waren de muren beschadigd, hing er een afgeknipte kabel van het plafond, en waren er diepe krassen op de deuren. De toiletdeur is met een likje verf niet meer te redden. Tussen de TV en het bed staat een paal, zodat je vanuit bed de TV niet kunt zien. Bij de receptie waren ze bij de ontvangst niet echt vriendelijk. We werden slechts aangekeken met een blik die ik niet anders kan uitleggen als "wat moet je" en pas toen ik zelf goedemiddag zei, kon er met moeite een antwoord vanaf. Geen "welkom", "goede reis gehad" of "we wensen u een prettig verblijf". Bij het vertrek werd ons wel nog een goede dag gewenst, maar niet gevraagd hoe we het hadden gehad, wat ik wel snap als je weet hoe de kamers op de 4e verdieping eruit zien. Het ontbijt was niet slecht, al hebben we beter gehad. Beslist geen 4-sterren ervaring en ook het geld niet waard.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quirky design. Good size, well organised room. Central location. Great bar area and top notch cocktails

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette établissement. Idéalement situé,service au top, chambre magnifique et petit déjeuner varié. Je recommande vivement.

Martins Dream is my first choice hotel in Mons. Convenient and comfortable, with excellent staff.

Don't trust Google Maps for directions. They sent us up one street early and we were stuck in one way system. Twice

Dette var et mindre hyggelig opphold. I et område man ikke ønsket å gå ut til.

Lovely warm room on a cold night. Restaurant was excellent. Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed and decent shower. Characterful ambiance. One way road system to get to the hotel was a bit of a nightmare as google maps showed the one way direction incorrectly.

Séjour agréable , très calme ce qui est appréciable, literie confortable chambre propre. Petit déjeuner très varié et très bon. Hôtel très bien situé nous avons pu visiter à pieds en laissant la voiture sur le parking de l'hôtel.

Goede bedden en fijne douche, goed ontbijt met huisgemaakte cake en pancakes en lekkere sapjes. Pukka thee en een mooie ontbijt ruimte, netjes verzorgd. Prima kamer met airco. Voor 1 nacht op doorreis naar Frankrijk vanuit Pari daiza, fijn om makkelijk te parkeren aan de straat gratis van 17 tot 9 uur en in het centrum van Mons, bij winkels en restaurants en cafe’s. Prima verblijf gehad, aanrader.

Leuke , rustige, nette kamer! Mooi ontbijt voor mij als lactosevrije en glutenvrije eter! Bravo voor de persoonlijk aanpak!

Very high standard and value for money. The use of the old church building is amazing. Even some of the tables downstairs are made from the old pillars. However, the decor and modern-style art was conflicting, indicating there wasn't a clear vision for the direction they were going in, but this aside, it was well presented, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding.

Stayed here before on business so I knew the hotel/ area. Nice hotel. The only point I would mention is the ‘ hot’ food wasn’t particularly warm on my last morning and the plate of food was wasted. Other than that, no issues.

Beautiful hotel with comfort. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel is in the city center so very convenient without having a car.
