You definitely get what you pay for here. It was overall fine, and it'll definitely do if you're a low maintenance person but I don't think I'll stay here again. Soap and shampoo is provided for a single shower so make sure you're stocked up. Parking lot only has space for 1 car per room. The mini fridge was kind of gross but thankfully I didn't need it. Staff was nice and friendly and it's a good location.

This little boutique motel was a terrific spot to stay on our way to Yosemite. The owners are on site and always working on upgrades and cleanliness. The pool was very large , deep and the perfect temperature for swimming. We would recommend a stay here to anyone. Shops and restaurants are walking distance away

We came in late and had our key ready for us. The lobby was open only till 7pm. Everything was all set for us to snooze. Eliza was very nice!

AC not on.. extremely Hot when I arrived. No Chair to sit in. Fridge didn’t work (maybe unplugged) no ice machine to be found. Mattress very old

Very clean affordable and sweet motel. Room looked recently refurbished and in great condition. The mini fridge and microwave were a big plus. Right in the center of town walkable for stores and restaurants also groceries. Managers super friendly. Family owned vibe. Pool needs painting but still was nice to use.

The property was safe and contact limited with hotel, except for prior when we attempted to cancel due to medical emergency. Thought we'd be fine going but shower wouldn't give hot water or drain properly, so by the time it was warm, it was nearly overflowing, so hard to get clean. Pool was colder than Puget Sound in WA.

In the middle of Mariposa and very walkable to a shops and few places to eat. Nothing fancy but clean and well-maintained. Recommended for a simple stay in the cool little town.

I had to check myself in so no one could recommend a place to eat. I had not used a lock box to get key before and had a little problem opening it in the dark. The facility was nice.

Nice and cozy place. Clean an comfy. Not too large room and shower, yet it warms up very fast with heater (actually a great advantage during winter). Quiet and close to dining, not to mention that Yarts stop is 200 feet away, can take bus to Yosemite if not feeling to drive.

A simple, clean lodge perfect for a pit stop before heading into Yosemite! We checked in around 11pm, and an envelope with our name on it (along with a nice little hand-drawn picture!) that included our room information. Nobody was stationed at the office but 24/7 phone service was available and the nice lady gave us all the info we needed. Doors are unlocked, windows are open and keys are found within the room after we enter. I’m assuming this is a pretty safe town that they are able to do that. The room is very clean and my favorite part is that the pillows are not uncomfortably puffy/stuffy like many other hotels, so I slept really well! Love the atmosphere of the space; we kept our windows open for a while to let the amazing oak aroma in the air come into our room before we closed for the night.

Clean remodeled room. Never saw a staff member the hole time I was there. Love this little old mining town. Best and cheapest place to eat is place called the Hideout Saloon. Exit Mother Lode Lodge and go right. turn right at gas station. Small sign on the left. Down stairs. Friendly staff.

Older motel in the heart of Mariposa, which is excellent. Had TV problems when arriving and the pillows provided were less than satisfactory. They were very thin & cheap, leaving a kink in my neck. I had to put a blanket under the pillows just to be able to sleep. Could definitely invest in better quality pillows. Overall, clean. Small but in good condition.

A little too far from our destination. The drive in was beautiful but…with kids it’s hard. Also, no breakfast offered. It’s expensive! We need better toiletries and breakfast… room was super hot when we got there.

Great location! Mariposa is a wonderful city with great food and awesome hospitality. About an hour drive to Yosemite is the only negative thing. It’s an average hotel, window A/C is outdated for hotels and the hotel room gets warm in May. I recommend it if trying to save a few dollars.

The property was safe and contact limited with hotel, except for prior when we attempted to cancel due to medical emergency. Thought we'd be fine going but shower wouldn't give hot water or drain properly, so by the time it was warm, it was nearly overflowing, so hard to get clean. Pool was colder than Puget Sound in WA.

I had to check myself in so no one could recommend a place to eat. I had not used a lock box to get key before and had a little problem opening it in the dark. The facility was nice.

Very clean affordable and sweet motel. Room looked recently refurbished and in great condition. The mini fridge and microwave were a big plus. Right in the center of town walkable for stores and restaurants also groceries. Managers super friendly. Family owned vibe. Pool needs painting but still was nice to use.

Nice and cozy place. Clean an comfy. Not too large room and shower, yet it warms up very fast with heater (actually a great advantage during winter). Quiet and close to dining, not to mention that Yarts stop is 200 feet away, can take bus to Yosemite if not feeling to drive.

Great location! Mariposa is a wonderful city with great food and awesome hospitality. About an hour drive to Yosemite is the only negative thing. It’s an average hotel, window A/C is outdated for hotels and the hotel room gets warm in May. I recommend it if trying to save a few dollars.

A little too far from our destination. The drive in was beautiful but…with kids it’s hard. Also, no breakfast offered. It’s expensive! We need better toiletries and breakfast… room was super hot when we got there.

80 deg, mini ac, took 12 hours to cool room. 2 in by 1 in cockroaches. Never so employee. Horrible night, left after one night of payed two nights.
