Location was excellent. Free luggage storage was a plus. Late check-in was a key factor in our choice. Since there are no staff, please tell guests that the keypad is inside the vestibule and the outer door requires a hard push to open. When we arrived around midnight we almost called the emergency number, thinking that outer door was locked when it wouldn't open with a normal strength push.

Location was excellent. Free luggage storage was a plus. Late check-in was a key factor in our choice. Overall good stay in the old city, the automated check-in was not as easy as it should have been the keypad to access The key is very touchy, causing many attempts this needs to be rectified ASAP. Parking is a five minute walk away ,it was reasonable $

Interesting old hotel. No employees on site; everything done via email and codes. Room was ok, but it had a back door that lead to stairs that went to an awesome terrace. Definitely the best part of the hotel. The shower would not maintain a steady temperature. Good location.

All rooms are upstairs with no elevator the stairs are very difficult to navigate with luggage. The hotel was clean. It was self check in so basically no service.

It was good value for the old town but rioms were somewhat cramped. The autolocking front door was often left ajar and people came and went during our stay. The closest parking is quite a dustance if anyone has mobility issues. Having to park on the street to load/unlosd then having to go to the underground parking gatage was an inconvenience especially with road closures in the area.

Smooth, automated check in and out process. Super close to the old town destination and very easy to walk to. If you have a car, you have to be creative with parking options, but you'll get great exercise walking up the hill to the hotel ☺️

Historic building with great views and close to St. Jean street & Chateau Frontenac. My complaints are that the air handler unit was full of dust, the filter was completely clogged. It triggered my allergies. There was also some mold above the shower in the bathroom.

The description and photos on the Expedia site were not what we found when we arrived at this property. We were allocated a small, grubby, dark outdated room. The noise from the large a/c unit outside our external door was so loud it kept us awake nearly all night. The door to the outside space did not not lock properly so we felt unsafe. The stairs to the rooftop terrace were unlit and the railings were insecure. The bed was propped up on wooden blocks taped together, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. I understand that this is an unmanned property but when you encounter issues like this, there should be a point of contact so they can be resolved, this is not the case here.

J'ai payé 315$ la nuit pour une petite chambre très ordinaire avec vue sur le stationnement arrière, aucun déjeuner inclus. De plus, j'entendais les voisins prendre leur douche et discuter entre eux... J'aimerais beaucoup être remboursé d'au moins 150$ pour obtenir le juste prix de l'hébergement. Si je n'obtiens pas de remboursement, je vais réféchir à un possible recours légal.

My sister and I came for a visit for 4 nights and we were very satisfied with our stay. We felt very safe and loved how close it was to everything. The only thing I would mention is that the sheets had some hair and stains, but that wasn’t a huge deal for us. We would stay here again!

Emplacement idéal. Malgré l’effort pour la décoration de la chambre de bon goût, la salle de toilette a besoin de beaucoup d’amour et n’est pas du tout à la hauteur. Forte odeur de moisissures en arrivant dans la chambre et moisissures apparentes dans la salle de bain. Fenêtre brisée qui ne ferme plus, ventilation d’extraction très sale. Déçu.

It's walkable distance from the old Montreal. Very clean. At night time was noisy, We could hear people walking in the stairs,or taking shower. In our room 107 there was a closet and Armoire with a dresser. In my opinion I would replace the Armoire with a Desk and chair, so we can used for a laptop,or use the chair to sit instead of sitting in the bed with your clothes. Overall a nice place. I will recommend it.

Old, creaky, noisy. you can hear every step in the hallway. No clear on duty, ever. Maid let me in to my room at 1450 instead on 1500 like the auto keybox was going to let me in. good location, but not for me.

Wonderful location, in the middle of the old town, walking distance to all touristic points. The mattress could be renewed and some minor maintenance in the room. But the overall was very nice.

We had a beautiful view of the harbor. Room has a mini fridge and nice heating and air conditioning unit. Roof top space was nice. It was fairly close the the hub of Quebec City. However there was not a single chair to sit on so we had to sit on the beds. The room was fairly noisy hearing other people staying here as was the road noise too. Water from the bathroom sink and bath tub didn’t seem potable to drink. There was no place to hang clothes on hangers.

The room was OK but the bedding use was more like something used during winter because it was too warm so I basically slept on top of everything. The AC wasn’t strong enough. I had difficulty to sleep.

Room is cramped with no window. Door only opens half way to a balcony you are absolutely denied to use. Mattress is past prime. No blanket. Spread is so heavy it is hard to use. Room 205 requires climbing at least 40 very steep steps. Bathtub has absolutely nothing to hold onto. Felt place was a fire hazard. Nothing positive except its location.

Easy access to complex and room. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Great location off of the busy tourist area but still walkable. We took a tour bus to hike at Jacque Cartier National park and the pick up and drop off location were easy to walk to. We had room 101 which was in the front and had a harbor view. Would have liked a small microwave in the room but there was a communal one.

very hard to check in. Key and room are in separate buildings. I only can read English, the email is mixed English, numbers, date and French. Its all automatic, no preson assist you. If you call them, they will repeat "check your email guide-line". Worst hotel service so far in my 12 years in Canada. if you drive 8hrs then check in. Highly not Recommend this hotel. you will blow your mind.

Could not tell you what the rooms looked like or about any of the amenities because we could not access the room for our stay. We were meant to retrieve our room key from an automated kiosk with a code emailed to us. That code did not work. The support line provided had no one available to help. Since it is a STAFFLESS hotel, there was no one to assist. We tried the emergency number which rang and rang with no response. We were forced to find other last minute and expensive accommodation.

First time using a staff-less property. Had to try a couple of times to get the key from the automated system but it was easy to use (I was too talk to read it lol). Emails and text messages to let me know when the room changed and what the code was to get the key, all worked well. Great location for Old Quebec City.

The auto key dispenser check-in was a disaster. Lots of instructions for how to use - no guidance if check-in screen blank with no way to use. The dispenser needed to be reset. The phone next to box offered direct line with key dispenser company - now I know why. Luckily they talked me through reset, which was not apparent. I suggest hotel provides additional instructions in case machine screen blank - it can’t be the first time a guest has gone through this. PS Reset button on top of machine.

Since there are no staff, please tell guests that the keypad is inside the vestibule and the outer door requires a hard push to open. When we arrived around midnight we almost called the emergency number, thinking that outer door was locked when it wouldn't open with a normal strength push.

Wonderful location, in the middle of the old town, walking distance to all touristic points. The mattress could be renewed and some minor maintenance in the room. But the overall was very nice.

Easy access to historic sites, Parks (Montmorency & Marais du Nord), transit, shops and great food. We believe in letting the hotel know about issues that could affect the next guests experience. This included resolving lights not working, an street light on Hebert that was intermittent and an air dryer (no "h" as it did not actually heat the air ;-) ). Some things are within their arena to fix and ensure an awesome experience for the next guest. The convenience to historic sites, walkability, shopping, safe and quiet section of Quebec City make this a "highly recommend" option for travellers on a budget.

Easy access to complex and room. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Great location off of the busy tourist area but still walkable. We took a tour bus to hike at Jacque Cartier National park and the pick up and drop off location were easy to walk to. We had room 101 which was in the front and had a harbor view. Would have liked a small microwave in the room but there was a communal one.

Very close to the best area of city. Not more than 10 minutes walk. Staff were accessible by phone to respond to electrical problem in our room.

I never received an email telling me our room number or codes to get in the hotel or our room. The stairs were terrible to lug up suitcases. Walks are paper thin and can hear everything. The traffic noise was loud. Could not get the TV to speak in English even though I was in settings and selected English. The TV kept shutting off on its own and sound off and on at whim. The bed was uncomfortable. The only light in the bathroom was connected to the loudest exhaust fan. Only one garbage can. The air conditioner blew down on the beds. No place to sit except the bed. View out the window was dismal. All in all just a terrible. Experience for the price.

Es un hotel estilo europeo antiguo y muy pequelos los espacios. Carece de amenidades. Lo bueno es que esta muy cerca del centro y de la estacion de trenes caminando. Lo peor es que quedaron en enviarme los codigos de entrada 48 horas antes de mi ingreso y no lo hicieron. Tuve que llamar para que me lo dieran y eso causa inseguridades sobre todo si tu ingreso es por la noche.

Very impressed with the automated system which was a quite pleasant experience for us. Thumbs up for your helpful staff too who showed up at the right moment when we were trying to figure out the code to get in. The instructions sent by the email was clear and effective enough for us going through everything we need while staying in the hotel.
