Podere Il Doccio

We have visited Podere Il Doccio four times – and every time it feels like coming home. Irene, Sara, and Gianluca are the warmest hosts, always ready with a smile and great recommendations for restaurants, nature experiences, and local wineries. Here you’ll find peace, harmony, and a beautiful pool with peace and quiet. The Tuscan barbecue is a must – fresh local ingredients, wonderful wines, and service from Irene and her staff, goes far beyond expectations. For us, this is not just a holiday spot – it’s where we find peace, connection, and true hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Ottima esperienza. Casa accogliente, pulita e con tutto il necessario per rilassarsi e divertirsi in compagnia. Piscina e Jacuzzi comode e bellissime. La zona giorno all’esterno per mangiare tutti insieme è stupenda.

The villa is fine, albeit rustic, A/C does work well. Irene is the host and she is wonderful and very helpful. The most difficult aspect of the villa is access. For those who drive (and I think you must) once you leave the main road it is quite challenging. All in all a very nice place to stay and fairly advertised. It needs better signage for access.
