This is an adorable cabin listed exactly correct. Check in was easy, and the roads are passable. There are 2 ways to get there, the second way is a better road. The dock and kayaks were a blast, but getting up from the dock is a cardio work out! Morning works are a good workout as well. It’s uphill both ways!

The property was great. Bedding, appliances, cleanliness was very good. My only complaint was that the gas grill was filthy and I could not use it. Also as it was cold and rainy the ramp to the front door was terribly slippery as well as the ramp to the dock. I actually slipped at the bottom of the ramp to the dock. Scary. All else considered we had a great time.

Great cabin on Grand Lake! Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time there! Dock is perfect for your boat/jet ski, kids enjoyed fishing from the dock too! Located off the main part of the lake, and provides some shelter from wind and other boat traffic. The walk up from the dock could prove challenging for older adults or those with health issues.

Cozy house. The house has been updated and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable! The deck was a great place to hangout and we definitely used the fire pit. If you plan to do much cooking, make sure to bring the utensils you will need, not a lot to work with. The stairs to the dock are steep and numerous. If anyone has trouble with stairs or gets out of breath easily may not be the place for you. The dock itself was great! They had a lily pad, kayaks and life jackets there to use. We had a great stay!

This house was cozy, clean, and decorated nicely. Has a great deck off the living room. But note that it is a hard walk back up to the house from the dock. But the dock is nice and we enjoyed using the kayaks in the cove. The location is ok, I got a little carsick anytime we went anywhere, but the neighborhood is pretty quiet.

Family was able to enjoy individually as well as together due to the good use of space when designing this getaway! We enjoyed the deck, dock and the kayaks as well as brought our own so we all could kayaking together. Need blow dryers! LOL

We wanted a nice calm part of the lake to bring our kids for a getaway before the school year begins. This was IT! The home was comfortable, well maintained, and most importantly the dock was great! Clean water, kayaks, and there were floaties and a lily pad to use. We had a few (thanks Amazon!) that we left in the dock box for others to use. The only complaint is all the stairs to get to the dock but we considered that our workout for the day ;-)

The house was very clean, however when we arrived the outside trash cans were full. I messaged the host and never received a communication back from her. If you cannot do stairs, I would not recommend booking this house. There are a lot of stairs to get to and from the dock. Also, trees obstruct the view of the lake.

The house was great. It was very clean and had what we needed. The deck area was nice. We enjoyed the birds and watching a squirrel build a nest. We are seniors so it was a little difficult to get down to the dock for us.

Overall it was great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there was dog hair all over the master bed when we arrived. On the sheets and pillow cases. We washed them and it was all good from there.

We enjoyed our stay and all was good but we would have liked to have been able to sit out on the deck but it was fairly unusable because the cushions were filthy and should be put away in between stays in the chest outside to protect them and the dock and walkway to and from the dock was way too steep for us. And a few of us are in decent shape!! But that was our main complaint. Other than that, and the rough roads to get in and out, we really liked the house and the accommodations. It was what we all needed.
We enjoyed our stay and all was good but we would have liked to have been able to sit out on the deck but it was fairly unusable because the cushions were filthy and should be put away in between stays in the chest outside to protect them and the dock and walkway to and from the dock was way too steep for us. I spent three nights at this home with my best friend for a relaxing fall getaway. It was too cold to brave the water but we did enjoy fires on the porch in the beautiful fall leaves. The home is beautiful and very clean. Check in/out process was a breeze. We had everything we needed there in the home. There is a dollar general about 10 minutes max away that was easy to shop. I appreciate that the home is pet friendly. I would stay here again for another relaxing getaway.

Beautiful location and beautiful house. Loved all of the amenities even though we didn't get to utilize many because of the rainy weekend we were there for! Can't wait to book again for summertime! (Note: be sure bring your spices if you plan on cooking) The kitchen was well appointed with cooking/baking gear and we really appreciated the storage containers that allowed us to save leftovers. Beds were comfy and linens were great. Perfect set up for meeting our friends for a weekend getaway that was halfway between us. (Boy those stairs to the boat dock are a doozy - have your cardio in order!)

The home was beautifully appointed and everything felt fresh and new. Really well done. The only drawback was the heating/cooling system. When it was just warm downstairs it was piping hot upstairs, like windows all the way open in late November and still hot upstairs. I think the ducting needs to be looked at... this was an issue because we had elderly folks with us who needed downstairs warm, sigh. :) Other than this the property was great, love that we got to bring out pups on holiday, and the house was cozy. The next towns are not far away and easy to get to if you need something. I really enjoyed this place.

The house is beautifully decorated and a nice layout. The furniture isn’t real comfy. The deck is awesome. It feels like you are sitting in a tree house. Lots of birds, squirrels to watch and just take in the peacefulness. It doesn’t overlook the water which would have been nice to see when the guys were fishing. You can barely see it through the trees in spots. There are a lot of stairs to the water and it is pretty steep. The dock is great. We caught catfish, bass, an alligator gar fish. We enjoyed the kayaks. The amenities are fair. Small shampoo, conditioner and soaps including dish soap are supplied. The kitchen was limited on bake ware. There aren’t any bowls with lids to store cooked things in. Usually at the VRBO’s we have stayed in the past there are a few staples left by previous guests. Like salt and pepper, some spices, maybe some flour, foil, a 9x13 pan. Just know to bring anything you may need if planning on cooking there. I’m not trying to sound like a grump just some suggestions. We had a lovely week long stay and would recommend.

We and our friends stayed here for 5 days/4 nights over New Years. It was the perfect place for the four of us! We had great weather during our stay and were able to utilize the deck, the dock and the kayaks. Yes, there are quite a few stairs down to the dock, but we decided to look at it as an opportunity for exercise so it was not an issue for any of us. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, dishware, etc. The only thing I would suggest is the more kitchen towels be made available (we only had 2). We remedied that by purchasing paper towels (none were provided), but it would have been nice to not create so much trash/waste from the paper towels. We were able to deal with the heat rising to the second floor by turning on the ceiling fan above the dining room table, the ceiling fan in the bedroom and cracking the window open. Otherwise, the temp in the cabin was pleasant. Overall, this cabin was just right for our little group, and I would recommend it!

The house was very clean, however when we arrived the outside trash cans were full. I messaged the host and never received a communication back from her. If you cannot do stairs, I would not recommend booking this house. There are a lot of stairs to get to and from the dock. Also, trees obstruct the view of the lake.

It is so challenging finding a property that is pet friendly and wheelchair friendly. Our daughter, who has disabilities, thoroughly enjoys relaxing outside. The ramp allowed her access to the house and deck, which was absolutely perfect. She enjoyed every aspect of relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of nature on the large deck. Our dogs were well contained on the free to roam safely on the deck as well. My son and I made the trip down to the dock, which was very nice. Indeed, you may want to take your time on the return trip back up. My only complaint was the dishwasher was full of dishes from the guests before us (clean, although not put away). Other than that, it was a fabulous location to reset and rejuvenate before everyone headed back to work and college.

I spent three nights at this home with my best friend for a relaxing fall getaway. It was too cold to brave the water but we did enjoy fires on the porch in the beautiful fall leaves. The home is beautiful and very clean. Check in/out process was a breeze. We had everything we needed there in the home. There is a dollar general about 10 minutes max away that was easy to shop. I appreciate that the home is pet friendly. I would stay here again for another relaxing getaway.

We and our friends stayed here for 5 days/4 nights over New Years. It was the perfect place for the four of us! We had great weather during our stay and were able to utilize the deck, the dock and the kayaks. Yes, there are quite a few stairs down to the dock, but we decided to look at it as an opportunity for exercise so it was not an issue for any of us. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, dishware, etc. The only thing I would suggest is the more kitchen towels be made available (we only had 2). We remedied that by purchasing paper towels (none were provided), but it would have been nice to not create so much trash/waste from the paper towels. We were able to deal with the heat rising to the second floor by turning on the ceiling fan above the dining room table, the ceiling fan in the bedroom and cracking the window open. Otherwise, the temp in the cabin was pleasant. Overall, this cabin was just right for our little group, and I would recommend it!

Great cabin on Grand Lake! Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time there! Dock is perfect for your boat/jet ski, kids enjoyed fishing from the dock too! Located off the main part of the lake, and provides some shelter from wind and other boat traffic. The walk up from the dock could prove challenging for older adults or those with health issues.

We really appreciated using the dock, kayaks, etc. The location was quiet, remote, and calm. We loved the winding roads and travels to the various small towns around us. Be ready for a few spiders or bugs. It didn’t bother us because, well, that’s lake life and wooded areas. We all spent the days swimming, fishing, rented a boat from a nearby marina… then the evening we got to all hang out together. It was good family time that we needed!

This house was cozy, clean, and decorated nicely. Has a great deck off the living room. But note that it is a hard walk back up to the house from the dock. But the dock is nice and we enjoyed using the kayaks in the cove. The location is ok, I got a little carsick anytime we went anywhere, but the neighborhood is pretty quiet.

The home was beautifully appointed and everything felt fresh and new. Really well done. The only drawback was the heating/cooling system. When it was just warm downstairs it was piping hot upstairs, like windows all the way open in late November and still hot upstairs. I think the ducting needs to be looked at... this was an issue because we had elderly folks with us who needed downstairs warm, sigh. :) Other than this the property was great, love that we got to bring out pups on holiday, and the house was cozy. The next towns are not far away and easy to get to if you need something. I really enjoyed this place.

We wanted a nice calm part of the lake to bring our kids for a getaway before the school year begins. This was IT! The home was comfortable, well maintained, and most importantly the dock was great! Clean water, kayaks, and there were floaties and a lily pad to use. We had a few (thanks Amazon!) that we left in the dock box for others to use. The only complaint is all the stairs to get to the dock but we considered that our workout for the day ;-)

Beautiful location and beautiful house. Loved all of the amenities even though we didn't get to utilize many because of the rainy weekend we were there for! Can't wait to book again for summertime! (Note: be sure bring your spices if you plan on cooking) The kitchen was well appointed with cooking/baking gear and we really appreciated the storage containers that allowed us to save leftovers. Beds were comfy and linens were great. Perfect set up for meeting our friends for a weekend getaway that was halfway between us. (Boy those stairs to the boat dock are a doozy - have your cardio in order!)

Cozy house. The house has been updated and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable! The deck was a great place to hangout and we definitely used the fire pit. If you plan to do much cooking, make sure to bring the utensils you will need, not a lot to work with. The stairs to the dock are steep and numerous. If anyone has trouble with stairs or gets out of breath easily may not be the place for you. The dock itself was great! They had a lily pad, kayaks and life jackets there to use. We had a great stay!

Loved the house. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Very comfortable beds in all 3 bedrooms! Very nice deck and heavily wooded surroundings. Steps/walk down to the lake was long but all 4 of us 70+ people handled it just fine. Dock area is very nice too. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is beautifully decorated and a nice layout. The furniture isn’t real comfy. The deck is awesome. It feels like you are sitting in a tree house. Lots of birds, squirrels to watch and just take in the peacefulness. It doesn’t overlook the water which would have been nice to see when the guys were fishing. You can barely see it through the trees in spots. There are a lot of stairs to the water and it is pretty steep. The dock is great. We caught catfish, bass, an alligator gar fish. We enjoyed the kayaks. The amenities are fair. Small shampoo, conditioner and soaps including dish soap are supplied. The kitchen was limited on bake ware. There aren’t any bowls with lids to store cooked things in. Usually at the VRBO’s we have stayed in the past there are a few staples left by previous guests. Like salt and pepper, some spices, maybe some flour, foil, a 9x13 pan. Just know to bring anything you may need if planning on cooking there. I’m not trying to sound like a grump just some suggestions. We had a lovely week long stay and would recommend.

The house is very beautiful and comfortable also well outfitted with dishes, pot and pans. We like to cook when we stay. The walk to and from the water is steep but the stairs and ramps are well maintained. Our adult children enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock.

Beautiful lake home! Beds were comfortable. Spacious living room, large dinning table and well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer were extremely convenient. The WiFi worked well most of the time except for one day when it was extremely windy. We used it a fair amount since it rained almost the entire week. Complimentary coffee, popcorn and bottle water are a nice touch. We enjoyed the great outdoor living spaces: large deck with patio table and chairs as well as another area with fire pit and seating around it. There is a large dock and part of it is covered which was convenient when it got too hot or when it rain. We fished even when it rain because of the covered area. We purposely chose this place because it has two kayaks and life jackets. The only thing I would caution anyone looking into renting this place is to make sure everyone in your party is mobile enough to go up and down many stairs (with some steeper areas) to get to the dock/lake area. It is a bit of a trek. We had no problem going up or down since we are used to this type of set up and everyone in our family is fairly fit. Overall, we had a relaxing week and highly recommend this place. The host is great and and was prompt to communicate. Thank you and hopefully we will return in a near future!
