We had a wonderful stay at La Bastide des Pins. Romane and her family were so warm and welcoming - they made the trip special. The setting is beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, and our room was perfect. We’d absolutely come back and would highly recommend staying here!

These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday morning.

We were very disappointed. We we riding our bikes on a tour of the region, and arrived before 5pm. The manager did not look happy to see us, and made us feel uncomfortable that we came early. He did give us a room though. There are no easy dining options within walking distance, except for a crepe place with a very limited menu. Finally, we were told that breakfast was not before 8am. Upon arriving at 8am, the breakfast room was locked, but we could see that people had already had their breakfast. We waited 10mn for the manager to arrive, and he did not even apologize.
