We really enjoyed the service and the food. It does not get much better. The property was beautiful and the view stunning. My only other comment was my husband and I had massages from their spa. My husband had a great massage but unfortunately I had one of the worst massages I have ever had. The other comment is that we are Expedia members and the hotel does not communicate with Expedia so if you have any Expedia perks you must ask for them which is a little uncomfortable. Over all a great stay

Had a lovely stay at Acroterra Rosa and hope to come back some day. The rooms are very nicely appointed and the facilities in general are great, but the real standout is the staff. Service here is fantastic and I must complement the cocktail selection, too! Also appreciated the gym. The location in Akrotiri is a good option if you want a Santorini holiday away from the crowds, with some nice restaurants a short walk away from the hotel.

We loved the property! It is sitting at the edge of a cliff overlooking the caldeira, with breathtaking views over Fira and Oya. When we stayed, it was not very crowded so we could enjoy the swimming pool (a bit cool but very enjoyable). The restaurant food quality is very good, especially the fish, and I would recommend it. We loved the breakfast, with excellent fresh orange juice and beautiful latte to start the day while still enjoying the view. The staff is very helpful, friendly and smiling. Our room was really nice, with a large shower and a hot tub from which you can still view the caldeira. I just think the room could have had had a couple more shelves to place our clothes. There is a wardrobe but mostly to hang clothes. Nearby (you would still need a car but you can rent one at the hotel directly), you can go to the light house at the end of the island to watch a wonderful sunset. All in all, this was a very relaxing stay. We had been told Santorini would be packed, but this wasn’t the case in the first week of October at all.

Just the perfect hotel and stay! So completely relaxed from the moment we arrived to the minute we left! Our sea view room had the most incredible views of Santorini. Breakfast was incredibly good, with every option. Restaurants are about 2 mins away so perfectly located. Rooms are very spacious with good amenities. The staff are amazing and are incredibly good at what they do. Don’t be too surprised if they come over to you and have a chat! We thought that was a great touch and a nice gesture. A special mention to Kostas who looked after us every breakfast, made us smile and kept the coffee coming. On our first day, the very efficient restaurant manager had Greek coffee made for us and this continued every day. It was very much appreciated. For the rest of the stay, our rooms were spotlessly cleaned. On the first day, we received a bottle of wine and thereafter, little sweet gifts later in the afternoon. It ranks in our top 3 hotels and we will definitely be back next year, but with a longer stay.

The Acroterra Rosa is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. It located on the island away from the busy crowded areas where the cruise ships drop off. The rooms are very clean and the staff does everything to make you visit perfect. They have a restaurant and bar that has a spectacular view across the pool and over the ocean. They have a great chef prepared breakfast that was included and we had lunch and dinner there on different occasions (dependingon the adventureof the day) . I think the location is important because it is hard to relax in the busy city areas.... they are fun to visit and shop, eat etc... but I prefer a quiet as a home base for relaxation. You will need transportation to visit all the other places on the island but, it is very easy as the hotel will arrange car rental drop off and any transportation you need such as to and from the airport. We rented a small car but, ATVs and scooters are available. I would recommend a small car because the streets are tight and free parking will be crowded. We were always able to find parking but, it is a busy place. I would recommend the free parking and a small walk into the city. There are multiple locations you will need to see on the island... Oia, Fira, beaches etc... I am happy we found this gem by accident and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a higher level experience. The place is beautiful, the view is outstanding, the location is perfect and the service we received was world class.

We loved our stay! The property and staff were amazing. We received a complimentary upgrade upon check-in and the view of the caldera was gorgeous. The hotel was very clean and conveniently located 20 minutes from the airport. We were glad we booked on this side of the island.

Die dauerhafte Musik, die im Hotel lief (Restaurant,Pool),war es auch im Hotelzimmer sehr laut. Die Nutzung des zimmereigenen Whirpools war nicht sehr entspannend, da die zentrale Steuerung der ganzen Pools direkt an inserem war und täglich der Servicemitarbeiter da war. Aussicht war leider eingeschränkt. Zimmerzustand war gut, aber ich hätte mir einen nutzbaren Kleiderschrank gewünscht. Servicepersonal sehr nett. Wir empfanden das Hotel als etwas steril. Alles in allem ist es etwas zu teuer für die Leistung.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Fantastic views. Super comfortable bed. Everything was spot on and staff super friendly and helpful. Excellent receptionist- professional and going extra mile to ensure we enjoyed and make the most of our stay. Would highly recommend Acroterra Rosa. We didn't want to leave.

Most welcoming and helpful staff. Accommodating all needs. Fantastic breakfast and selection. A bit loud music around the pool and next to main road made it hard to relax at times and leaving the windows open at night due to noise

This place is fantastic! We stayed for 10days at the start of July and it was perfect! The setting is absolutely stunning. The view from the pool and restaurant area is spectacular. We had a room with a hot tub and a Caledara view and I’d recommend that push the boat out and go for it!! The room had everything we needed and was maintained well by staff the towels were the softest we had come across in a 5 star hotel. Including the pool ones and there was no shortage! Breakfast was a relaxed experience with amazing attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The location of the hotel in the village of Akrotiri is good and plenty of excellent restaurants within a short walk. The hotel staff arranged transportation for us and quad hire making sure we had no hassle. Exactly what you want!! The hotel is at the opposite side of the island to the main areas of Oia and Fira and for us this was a bonus. We visited both areas and appreciated all they offered but with so many cruise ship tourists there is was great to be able to go back to our more peaceful area. Transport are und the island is so easy from the hotel that you don’t really need to be staying in the very busy tourist areas of Oia and Fira. Would highly recommend this hotel for it’s peaceful, luxurious feel, absolutely stunning views(honestly breathtaking) and friendly attentive staff!

This hotel is clean, quiet, and beautiful, situated in the perfect location for a caldera view. The rooms have so many nice features, including the balcony with a private hot tub. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Sotiris, the Maitre, crafts amazing cocktails unique to your preferences. Sipping my tropical mocktail while taking in the sun and view made my vacation perfection. If my husband and I return to Santorini, we will definitely stay here again.

Mainly went here to stay near the Akrotiri archeological site. The room blew me away. Got there early and my room wasn't ready. Got a bit of an upgrade. OMG. 5 star room. Food at the resort was spectacular. 5 minute walk to main town of Akrotiri. 15 to archeological site, but 30 back uphill. Amazing resort and view. Want to go back to this place.

We loved the property! It is sitting at the edge of a cliff overlooking the caldeira, with breathtaking views over Fira and Oya. When we stayed, it was not very crowded so we could enjoy the swimming pool (a bit cool but very enjoyable). The restaurant food quality is very good, especially the fish, and I would recommend it. We loved the breakfast, with excellent fresh orange juice and beautiful latte to start the day while still enjoying the view. The staff is very helpful, friendly and smiling. Our room was really nice, with a large shower and a hot tub from which you can still view the caldeira. I just think the room could have had had a couple more shelves to place our clothes. There is a wardrobe but mostly to hang clothes. Nearby (you would still need a car but you can rent one at the hotel directly), you can go to the light house at the end of the island to watch a wonderful sunset. All in all, this was a very relaxing stay. We had been told Santorini would be packed, but this wasn’t the case in the first week of October at all.

This place is fantastic! We stayed for 10days at the start of July and it was perfect! The setting is absolutely stunning. The view from the pool and restaurant area is spectacular. We had a room with a hot tub and a Caledara view and I’d recommend that push the boat out and go for it!! The room had everything we needed and was maintained well by staff the towels were the softest we had come across in a 5 star hotel. Including the pool ones and there was no shortage! Breakfast was a relaxed experience with amazing attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The location of the hotel in the village of Akrotiri is good and plenty of excellent restaurants within a short walk. The hotel staff arranged transportation for us and quad hire making sure we had no hassle. Exactly what you want!! The hotel is at the opposite side of the island to the main areas of Oia and Fira and for us this was a bonus. We visited both areas and appreciated all they offered but with so many cruise ship tourists there is was great to be able to go back to our more peaceful area. Transport are und the island is so easy from the hotel that you don’t really need to be staying in the very busy tourist areas of Oia and Fira. Would highly recommend this hotel for it’s peaceful, luxurious feel, absolutely stunning views(honestly breathtaking) and friendly attentive staff!

The staff were beyond amazing. Especially the manager Sotiris Ioannidis. He treated my wife and I like family seriously. He definitely went up and beyond expectations. Our room was nice and clean. The food was great with bunch of selections. We loved the breakfast particularly because it had bunch of traditional Greek dishes and fresh squeezed orange juice was great every morning. My wife and I never wanted to leave this place!!! Book now, you won’t regret it.

On nous l’a accordé car il n’y avait pas de réservation après, et ce, sans aucun frais supplémentaire . On nous a également surclassé à notre arrivée et toutes nos demandes ont été reçues avec sourire ! Encore merci ! Nous recommandons

Beautiful hotel located on the south side of the caldera. Amazing views of the volcano from your room, restaurant and pool. Chef was amazing. The staff couldn't have been nicer from the manager to the waiting staff and front desk workers. Away from the congestion of the larger cities, but a short cab ride to get to the shops and restaurants of Oia and Thira. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful, quiet and private hotel in Akrotiri. They have a beautiful view of the caldera and the volcano. You can see the sunrise. The sunset lies on the side of the hotel, so you don't get to see it, but it still has beautiful views. The cleanliness and hospitality of the staff was 10/10. They also provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your time to the max in Santorini.

First time in Santorini and this hotel was excellent, quiet and away from noise of tourists area. You can take local bus to Firi or taxi to nearby winery to see sunset. Nictarious was excellent at front desk and even helped us book the reservations for winery’s supper, catamaran sunset supper etc. The staff was excellent and eager to serve. This hotel was immaculate and free breakfast was great!

Acroterra Rosa is as beautiful as the pictures suggest, but it's the staff that elevate it beyond even those views. From excellent chefs preparing great meals served by friendly waiters/waitresses, to helpful desk agents that can help setup anything you want to do on Santorini and Jimmy the bartender's amazing skills and even better personality; you will love your stay at Acroterra Rosa.

Truly the best hotel in Santorini! Fantastic location away from all the chaos and heavy people traffic of Oia, but still within a 15-20 min drive away to do some day shopping/sight seeing in that area. Tons of smaller markets, delicious restaurants, bars and even a pharmacy which we had to use to get flu medicine all within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Stayed for four days in the honeymoon suite. The private balcony pool is incredible with amazing views overlooking the entire bay (but all of the views from the other rooms our friends booked were equally amazing). Had breakfast at the hotel every morning (buffet style) and the food was delicious! Plus they make ready to order pancakes and custom omelettes that were all included in our hotel rate. We had dinner there two of the nights (14 of us total). The food never ceased to amaze us and I can honestly say 100% of everything everyone ordered (yes, we all tried each other's foods) was so damn good! It always tasted fresh, perfectly cooked and fantastic seasoning and sauces to accommodate each plate. Now onto the staff...from the moment we checked in, we felt like VIPs. They easily made the experience a 10 out of 10! Jimmy (evening bartender) was truly amazing and Nick and the rest of the staff were so accommodating to everything we needed (including a custom and delicious birthday cake 24 hrs in advance). I can't recommend this place enough and will absolutely stay here EVERY time we visit Santorini!

Just the perfect hotel and stay! So completely relaxed from the moment we arrived to the minute we left! Our sea view room had the most incredible views of Santorini. Breakfast was incredibly good, with every option. Restaurants are about 2 mins away so perfectly located. Rooms are very spacious with good amenities. The staff are amazing and are incredibly good at what they do. Don’t be too surprised if they come over to you and have a chat! We thought that was a great touch and a nice gesture. A special mention to Kostas who looked after us every breakfast, made us smile and kept the coffee coming. On our first day, the very efficient restaurant manager had Greek coffee made for us and this continued every day. It was very much appreciated. For the rest of the stay, our rooms were spotlessly cleaned. On the first day, we received a bottle of wine and thereafter, little sweet gifts later in the afternoon. It ranks in our top 3 hotels and we will definitely be back next year, but with a longer stay.

The staff were amazing, everywhere is very clean and well maintained. You can walk to lots of lovely restaurants even though it’s in a quiet part of the island and it’s so easy to get the bus to the more popular busy areas. The only disappointing thing I found was the bar staff couldn’t make a drinkable cocktail, they were awful. They tried, they changed them and were very apologetic but just couldn’t get any of them right.

Mainly went here to stay near the Akrotiri archeological site. The room blew me away. Got there early and my room wasn't ready. Got a bit of an upgrade. OMG. 5 star room. Food at the resort was spectacular. 5 minute walk to main town of Akrotiri. 15 to archeological site, but 30 back uphill. Amazing resort and view. Want to go back to this place.

Exceptional staff all the way from restaurant to front desk. Nothing was too much trouble. Always met with a smile no matter who I was speaking to. Very accommodating and much appreciated.

Beautiful hotel! I stayed briefly as I was passing through Santorini en route to another island, but it was the perfect welcome to Greece. Sparkling views, delicious coffee and breakfast and a lovely staff. My bed was nice and firm and comfortable and every inch of the place was spotless. Will be back someday!
