Nice little hotel. Room is clean, has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The breakfast is adequate. My hubby found food to eat. Being a gluten free vegan, the only choice I had was fruit, which is fine. They have 6 or so slot machines, a bar and a little "store" area. We did not use the pool but peeked in and it looks nice. I would stay here again.

We have stayed the Newton Cobblestone Hotel numerous times. The rooms are always clean and the beds are softer than most hotels we have stayed at. The lack of an Elevator makes the second floor inconvenient with health issues.The breakfast is not on par with major chain hotels, but it is included. It has an indoor pool and hot tub which is nice. The parking is convent with room for boats and trailers. The staff has always been polite.

We have stayed the Newton Cobblestone Hotel numerous times. The rooms are always clean and the beds are softer than most hotels we have stayed at. Overall a good experience. Areas to improve is breakfast seating was minimal, checkin for use was a learning exercise for the clerk. A bar on site was great. There is electronic gambling available. The pool amd hot tub was a dream. This facility was the best place within a 60 mile radius. Also if you like fresh local meat go to Hartrich meat market in St Marie. Top Notch!

Overall a good experience. Areas to improve is breakfast seating was minimal, checkin for use was a learning exercise for the clerk. A bar on site was great. There is electronic gambling available. The pool amd hot tub was a dream. This facility was the best place within a 60 mile radius. Also if you like fresh local meat go to Hartrich meat market in St Marie. Top Notch!

We had a great stay at Cobblestone! Check in was friendly, room was clean, and hotel was quiet. The breakfast area was small but adequate as the hotel was at full capacity for the local eclipse. Nothing bad to say about our visit. We would stay here again.

Was here for a high school friend's 50th birthday party. Hadnt been to this small town in years. First time staying at Cobblestone. Plushy beds and pillows. Felt like i was sleeping on a cloud. Definitely would stay here again

It had comfortable beds and a fairly clean Jacuzzi also had a decent snack bar and a small breakfast. Did have some issues checking into the hotel but I’m not sure if that was an Expedia issue or a computer issue between Expedia and the hotel the hotel did you get it taken care of For me but it did take 45 minutes to get checked in.

The evening and night front desk people were both AMAZING. They were. friendly and so helpful. I was a late arrival but they got me checked in easily. I enjoyed one of the pizzas they have in their mininstore. They put it in the oven for me, cut it for me, and even offered to carry it to my room. All thungs not required. Room was nice and comfortable. While i had people in the rooms next to me, I never heard a sound out of them. LOVE THIS PLACE will stay again

Kind of in the middle of nowhere . Staff was very kind and welcoming. Even had a little csino (4 or 5 slots) where I turned my $20 into $40 as I waited for my daugher to finish phone calls. Good little bar as well. Friendly locals

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very small town of 2000 residents. Only 4 restaurants. One very good Italian restaurant, owner from Sicily. Joe’s restaurant. 2 Mexican and 1 Chinese restaurant. Also Hardee’s & Dairy Queen. Nicest hotel in the area. Comfy beds. AC. Good shower water pressure.

Comfortable and clean hotel. Newton is a very small farming town with little to do for travelers. The hotel seems pricey for the area.

We had a great stay at Cobblestone! Check in was friendly, room was clean, and hotel was quiet. The breakfast area was small but adequate as the hotel was at full capacity for the local eclipse. Nothing bad to say about our visit. We would stay here again.

Nice little hotel. Room is clean, has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The breakfast is adequate. My hubby found food to eat. Being a gluten free vegan, the only choice I had was fruit, which is fine. They have 6 or so slot machines, a bar and a little "store" area. We did not use the pool but peeked in and it looks nice. I would stay here again.

Everything was great, except for the general attitude of the desk person on the second morning. They were out of usable waffle mix (what they had was too watery, and wouldn’t puff up). The family next to us in the dining area asked if they were going to bring out more, and the desk person said, “I guess people can’t just eat it. It’s got to look good too!” It seemed that he felt “put out” by their request for usable batter. I used to be in hotel management, and this response was not only off putting, it left us with a blemished memory of our hotel experience. I’m certain that it did the same for the guests to whom the remark was directed.

Kind of in the middle of nowhere . Staff was very kind and welcoming. Even had a little csino (4 or 5 slots) where I turned my $20 into $40 as I waited for my daugher to finish phone calls. Good little bar as well. Friendly locals

We have stayed the Newton Cobblestone Hotel numerous times. The rooms are always clean and the beds are softer than most hotels we have stayed at. The lack of an Elevator makes the second floor inconvenient with health issues.The breakfast is not on par with major chain hotels, but it is included. It has an indoor pool and hot tub which is nice. The parking is convent with room for boats and trailers. The staff has always been polite.

Overall a good experience. Areas to improve is breakfast seating was minimal, checkin for use was a learning exercise for the clerk. A bar on site was great. There is electronic gambling available. The pool amd hot tub was a dream. This facility was the best place within a 60 mile radius. Also if you like fresh local meat go to Hartrich meat market in St Marie. Top Notch!

It had comfortable beds and a fairly clean Jacuzzi also had a decent snack bar and a small breakfast. Did have some issues checking into the hotel but I’m not sure if that was an Expedia issue or a computer issue between Expedia and the hotel the hotel did you get it taken care of For me but it did take 45 minutes to get checked in.

The evening and night front desk people were both AMAZING. They were. friendly and so helpful. I was a late arrival but they got me checked in easily. I enjoyed one of the pizzas they have in their mininstore. They put it in the oven for me, cut it for me, and even offered to carry it to my room. All thungs not required. Room was nice and comfortable. While i had people in the rooms next to me, I never heard a sound out of them. LOVE THIS PLACE will stay again

Check in with Mark was welcoming with friendly back and forth joking banter. Room was comfortable. Hotel has a bar and little shopping area run by the receptionist. Great stay.

It was OK for an overnight stay but it was very expensive for what you got. The front desk gentleman was not exactly rude, but he was not helpful at all either. I don’t see myself as coming back.

It seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere, but we were thankful to have a resting spot along our route. It's an overpriced, outdated hotel. The staff was nice, and the place was clean. The breakfast offering was on the weak side. The hot tub wasn't working during our stay. This place served its purpose, but don't expect too much.

The rooms are extremely clean, the coffee was excellent, the staff was exceptional. When my daughter and I were overheard talking about how she was menopausal and had hot flashes,and I’m getting old and have thin blood so I get cold, they voluntarily brought me an extra blanket.

The staff were eager to help & very nice. The rooms were clean and everything worked. We traveled with a dog. Their fee was reasonable. There was a small bar & gaming room. I've stayed at a couple Cobblestones in my travels and they are always a solid choice. I prefer them over some of the more recognizable names.
