Ignorant employees not all just most. my room without power for the last 18 hours with no offer to change room temporarily get another room at a discounted rate. Not even an extension cord from another room. Waiting on electrican they say. After 12 hours of no power contact corprate. Now being told to leave cuz in email to corprate i said "the in(dian) run places are trash anymore" apparently that hurts theyre feelings. Pool does not work but brand new washer works great. Room needed deep cleaned but given the place i wasnt expecting much on that end. Only get one key card and have to pay for more if u want it. Yes i am putting this while still angery

The man working the desk was very nice and helpful. The room was old had a stale smokey smell. The bathroom ceiling was full of mold the exhaust did not work and there was a hole in the door. The area around the bathtub/ shower fixures was filthy. The site says they have an outdoor pool which is the primary reason I booked there on such short notice. The pool has been closed since Covid. As per employee a fight broke out between guests and non guests and the town made them close the pool .

Heating/cooling system is a little noisy. Rooms are clean. Because dogs are allowed, lots of poop needs cleaned up outside in the grass. Owners are pleasant.

We booked 2 rooms based on info and pix on Expedia. The inside rooms were clean but the outside property was off-putting and def needs some TLC. Some Fresh paint and landscaping would go a long way. I found the bed to be comfortable but my husband and the other couple with us did not. AC was a window unit and loud. The extra lock on our room door was missing. Broken, we guessed. Service animals (dogs) were barking through the night. The women who checked us in and out were welcoming and helpful. It’s a great location and price was reasonable.

Disgusted from the moment I walked in the room. It was Christmas eve so I didn't have other options. The Notch on the upper lock was gone so I was uncomfortable worried someone could get in my room. 2nd night my daughter came to join me and woke up with over a dozen bites all over her body. I pulled back the covers and found a gigantic blood stain on the mattress covered by a protector. I was looking for bedbugs and yes I found those too. I requested to talk to the manager upon check out but never got the call. I would give this location the absolute worst rating available. If I brought home bedbugs I will contact an attorney for sure.

Very dirty bathroom 2 very small towels we ask for more too shower which the responded we could not have!!! No soap no shampoo… shower itself was very dirty cold water in sink did not work on hot was told it’s non smoking yet the hallway smells of smoke very bad just filthy stink windows in whole motel are white from stains and very dirty overall just a very nasty place too stay will not be back yuck…

This was the most disgusting hotel/motel experience of my 55 years on earth. 1. Mold in the bathroom and around the window. 2. Cigarette smoke PERMEATED the building and cigarette burns on the sheets bedding and curtains 3. Mold in the freezer/fridge. 4. The door did not seal so you could see into the hallway. 5. Stained sheets on both beds. 6. Pillow the size of throw pillows. 7. Every piece of furniture looked as if it was a dump pickup with damage all over it. 8. The phone had been vandalized to not allow usage. 9. The floors were sticky and shoes should not be removed. 10. The mold surrounding the window was thick and black. NOTHING resembled the photos on hotels.com.

It was awful the room smelled like cat pee And wet dog. The fridge didn't work I was sticking to the floor n the bed was so sunk inike it was broken I was afraid to touch anything in the room I had to get my own cleaning supplies to clean the floor then the toilet just kept running non stop the hot water didn't work it was a awful experience if I could give them a negative review I would tht place should be condemned it had roaches.

This hotel was so disgusting we left after 2 hours of checking in. The bed linens were dirty and stained. The floor was sticky and gross. The supposedly clean towels had hair stuck in them. There were vomit stains on the wall. The window sill was full of bugs. The room smelled. The tv didn’t work. The sink was cracked. The bathtub was filthy and moldy.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this property. Per the map we were shown, we were offered the smallest room available. While that wasn't really the problem, at check-in we were told that this is what you get when you make a reservation on-line. The room was very dirty. If I can attach pictures to this survey, I will. There was mold on the floor and ceiling. Cobwebs in corners. This is a no-smoking hotel but the room is by the parking lot door and everyone smokes by the room and you can smell smoke in the room. Sheets were dirty looking with deep stains. Walls were dirty. looked like a cup of coffee was poured down the door ( I have a picture of this). Bathroom door was dirty. I took a picture of baby roaches on the wall in the bathroom. I was looking forward to showering but the hot water was not working. I would say that I was not expecting much since I did not pay as much as for other hotels in the area but this was awful. The room that is rented out to Expedia is by the outer-door, so everyone coming in or out can be heard in the room and door slamming is annoying in the middle of the night. The building fire alarm went off at 8 am which made sure everyone was up by then. No fire. Can I say something nice? I will say that the bed was comfortable.

The smell in the hallway was horrible and the room was not much better. My husband had to kill a cockroach a few minutes after we walked in the door. Didn’t provide towels and wash cloths for two people. A large hole in the bathroom door that was just painted over, burns in the bathtub. It was awful!

My husband and I stayed overnight for a concert. The hotel needs major work outside and is very outdated upon first sight. The room itself was ok and the staff was helpful. We stayed here because it was within walking distance to The American Music Theater.

The only half decent thing to say is the bed was somewhat comfortable. The TV did not work; there was residue from a previous gues’s nose all over one wall; the a/c/ heating unit did not fit properly in the wall, leaving a gap allowing cold air to enter the room; not even a waste basket!

As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby you can see the paint coming off the walls. When you walk into the part of the hotel where your room is it smells like cleaning supplies or smoke, can't figure which one. Volume on television didn't work. The remote was filthy. Pros: 1. For an older property the rooms were clean. Needs updated but the rooms were good at keeping noise out. 2. Affordable. Cons: 1. Be aware that the manager will charge your card at 8am the day you check in. Not when you actually check in. He’s also terse and pretty rude. 2. We were only allowed two towels that were barely big enough to dry my hair. When I asked for more towels the manager told me I had to bring back the old towels and he would give me new ones. One of the towels also had a hole in it. 3. Also our window on the second floor was cracked. Like a sizable crack. Not really a con just proof that the building needs upkeep. Overall, I probably won’t come back just because it’s not what I want in a hotel. But if you can overlook these things it’s an affordable option near the Tanger outlets, Dutch wonderland and Shady Maple is about 15-20 min away.

Book the room for a week Friday to Friday Thursday morning, at 8 AM. They knocked on my door and told me. I needed to check out and I'm like no I have a weak reservation. Ignorant employees not all just most. my room without power for the last 18 hours with no offer to change room temporarily get another room at a discounted rate. Not even an extension cord from another room. Waiting on electrican they say. After 12 hours of no power contact corprate. Now being told to leave cuz in email to corprate i said "the in(dian) run places are trash anymore" apparently that hurts theyre feelings. Pool does not work but brand new washer works great. Room needed deep cleaned but given the place i wasnt expecting much on that end. Only get one key card and have to pay for more if u want it. Yes i am putting this while still angery

The man working the desk was very nice and helpful. The room was old had a stale smokey smell. The bathroom ceiling was full of mold the exhaust did not work and there was a hole in the door. The area around the bathtub/ shower fixures was filthy. The site says they have an outdoor pool which is the primary reason I booked there on such short notice. The pool has been closed since Covid. As per employee a fight broke out between guests and non guests and the town made them close the pool .

Pros: 1. For an older property the rooms were clean. Needs updated but the rooms were good at keeping noise out. 2. Affordable. Cons: 1. Be aware that the manager will charge your card at 8am the day you check in. Not when you actually check in. He’s also terse and pretty rude. 2. We were only allowed two towels that were barely big enough to dry my hair. When I asked for more towels the manager told me I had to bring back the old towels and he would give me new ones. One of the towels also had a hole in it. 3. Also our window on the second floor was cracked. Like a sizable crack. Not really a con just proof that the building needs upkeep. Overall, I probably won’t come back just because it’s not what I want in a hotel. But if you can overlook these things it’s an affordable option near the Tanger outlets, Dutch wonderland and Shady Maple is about 15-20 min away.

There were several issues. The lock on the main door was broken. There were stains throughout the room. And to top is all off, there were cockroaches in the room. When we went to talk to the night attendant, he basically told us since we had been checked in for 6 hours, we wouldn’t be refunded. What?! We put our bags in the room and left again! We were on a trip, we didn’t come to visit your lousy room. Red Roof needs to do better. We ended up driving home and not staying.

Absolutely nothing good about this property. They gave us1 wash cloth for 3 people, you had to exchange a wash cloth to get another wash cloth. The room was way too small. Dogs barking day and night. They supplied one little trash can that was very much over flowing and they charged me for that stating the room was trashed. I cleaned up all trash and piled it around the overflowing trash can and thats what they called trashed. Also,my grandson left 2 little spots of a candy stain on a sheet so they charged me $50.00 , incase the stain didn't come out. What fitted queen size sheet costs $50.00? Upon arrival the customer service representative was yelling at the customer in front of me. He was very short and unfriendly with me. There is not one redeeming quality about this property. Upon check out the representative was accusatory in regards to the room. We will NEVER stay here again. We have always had a great experience with Red Roof Inn and thought it was a good place to stay,boy were wrong. To the hotel chain,I highly recommend you dump this owner from your chsin. They are giving your brand a bad name. Please take these reviews to heart. I wish I would have read them before I booked my trip. All the other reviews are accurate.

We booked 2 rooms based on info and pix on Expedia. The inside rooms were clean but the outside property was off-putting and def needs some TLC. Some Fresh paint and landscaping would go a long way. I found the bed to be comfortable but my husband and the other couple with us did not. AC was a window unit and loud. The extra lock on our room door was missing. Broken, we guessed. Service animals (dogs) were barking through the night. The women who checked us in and out were welcoming and helpful. It’s a great location and price was reasonable.

My husband and I stayed overnight for a concert. The hotel needs major work outside and is very outdated upon first sight. The room itself was ok and the staff was helpful. We stayed here because it was within walking distance to The American Music Theater.

Nice, clean, modern rooms. The interior pictures online are accurate. Comfortable beds. Pretty big fridge compared to other hotels, which is a plus (and the freezer is a separate compartment). Coffee maker. Very good value for the price. Also, good location, right on Lincoln Hwy, where there's lots of stores and strip malls, and only 15 minutes form downtown Lancaster. Very nice staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE, NOT SAFE!! Completely disgusting excuse of a hotel. Not only would I not recommend, I would STRONGLY recommend people avoid it (DANGEROUS)!! The people who stay there are long term section 8 housing. There is a lot next door that 40-60 people party at night, there were beer bottles and vomit everywhere in the morning. The rooms were horrendous, the pool wasn’t open, and as I’ve said multiple times, this place was NOT safe. If you’re coming to visit Lancaster do much more research on hotels, because there are plenty of nicer/safer ones there. This was is the LOWEST OF THE LOW! We will be forwarding this information to chamber of commerce of Strasburg. ** LOTS OF FIRE CODE VIOLATIONS AS WELL **
