Very nice B&B. Hosts are super nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice as is the bathrooms. Lots of extras - tea, pop, etc. Gorgeous swimming pool. Will be back. Thank you

The host likes to tell stories and to entertain the guests. The back yard is quite serene. They played relaxing music to set the mood around the chaise lounges and pool. I was exhausted and went straight to bed. The bed was very comfortable. I was given good directions to walk to a nearby mall for dinner and to the Richmond wharf and canning museum for entertainment the next day. The breakfast consisted of 3-4 separate courses, including coddled eggs, fresh fruit and muffins. Way over the top. It was nice to chat with the other guests. This is the way B&Bs used to be decades ago. I would definitely stay here again.

The owner is amazing. They think of everything! There’s a pool, a jacuzzi, they give you chocolates, there’s a small fridge, if you have an early flight they bring you to the airport, help with luggage, and prepare a snack for you to have breakfast. The property is honestly gorgeous and they trained a duck to come say hi in the morning. 10 out of 10 all around!

This B&B is most interesting and the ambiance is remarkable. My host Brian was so helpful and I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Vancouver. The court yard was wonderful and totally private. I am so happy to have found this beautiful home as it it is so much more injoyable than a hotel room. I give it a five star plus. Next time you need a Place too stay try it you won’t regret it.

The room was beautiful and uniquely decorated. We felt like we were on a Safari. The breakfast was delicous and we ate in the garden by the pool. The host also helped us fix our car. Thanks for the stay!

Beautiful property and the hosts were very kind. It's a short walk from a bus stop, and as your host will probably inform you, the roads around Richmond are built on even ground, so you won't have to traverse up or down any hills. That being said they offer airport pick up and drop off, along with drop off at the Canada Line if you're adventuring outside of Richmond. The rooms are very comfortable, I stayed only two nights, one at the beginning of my vacation, and one for the last night of my trip. Originally I had booked the Royal Suite for the two non-consecutive nights, but was upgraded to the Safari House for the last night. Both rooms were comfortable, cozy and well stocked with various snacks and drinks. Your host offers a turn down service, along with a delicious decanter of orange brandy (very good with hot chocolate) Breakfast is delicious and filling, and the host is responsive to any calls and questions. I will book again the next time I'm visiting Canada, it was truly a great experience.

What can I say? Bryan and his wife take it to the max to satisfy their customers. The room provided was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The soaker tub was wonderful and the poolside breakfast was truly an awesome experience doesn't get any better and with transportation to the airport it was simply perfect.

Enjoyed the Captains Quarters for the night (2x twin beds) and private bathroom. The shared kitchenette and dining table is spacious. Even though the rooms were filled, it didn’t feel busy with 6 people. Brian provided shuttle service, flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to accommodate my early flight departure. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool, the lounge and sunny patio area is welcoming with multiple places to sit. Would stay here again!

Our stay was relaxing and fun. This B&B has beautiful, immaculately clean rooms and lovely pool and patio. We were served a delicious 3 course breakfast in the a.m. Brian and Linda were such amazing hosts. 10/10 would highly recommend!

This is a decent place to stay but not the quality and ambience that we were expecting given the price and the ratings. We enjoyed the pool/garden and private patio.The setting for breakfast with the other guests by the pool was lovely; the coffee and food was okay The decor of the safari theme room was dated and cluttered. Some of the carpet/rugs needed a good cleaning, and the bathroom shower area has a DIY feel in construction quality. The host provided reliable, comfortable transportation from the bus from the ferry and to the airport. He shared too much of his own personal views on many topics.

Brian was a great host, picking me up from the airport promptly and making me feel at home. Room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The outdoor space also looked like a fantastic place to hang out, though I didn’t get a chance to spend much time there. Located in a nice quiet residential area.

What a find ! So delighted to have found this B&B for our overnight stay in Vancouver.. Brian picked us up at airport and dropped us back the next day. Room was superb, spotlessly clean with lots of snacks and drinks provided. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a feast and nothing was too much trouble for these hosts. Would return here in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for being so welcoming x

Room was small and and a bit stuffy. Bathroom was private but not attached to the room. Nevertheless ,we had a good sleep after a very long travel -- and the facility was very quite -- that was very welcome! And the host (owner) most entertaining!

Had a great stay at stone hedge. I was able to get picked up from the airport. There were nearby places to eat food within a quick walking distance. The place is super nice and the bed was awesome. The breakfast they provided was also great. I would love to come back the next time I get to stay in Vancouver. Highly recommend this place.

Loved my stay here for an overnight layover. They made airport transportation so easy and fast. The breakfast here is 10/10!! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and cozy. I would stay here again without question!

This B&B is great for a transfer via YVR. Close to terminal with free transfers available. We picked up a car from the airport and drove and was easy to find. Welcome was warm and informative. Nice touches such as welcome orange brandy. We stayed in the Royal Room which was good with a comfortable bed. This room has its own separate bathroom (not en-suite). We checked out early so can't rate breakfast. Host provided a to-go breakfast of fruit and muffins.

Bryan was a welcoming and knowledgeable host. He was a mine of useful information about transport and places worth visiting. He provided lots of extras like bottled water, sodas and snacks. It was a great bonus to get a lift to the airport as well. Breakfast was freshly prepared, generous and tasty and was served on the lovely patio by the pool.
Bryan was a welcoming and knowledgeable host. He was a mine of useful information about transport and places worth visiting. He provided lots of extras like bottled water, sodas and snacks. It was a great bonus to get a lift to the airport as well. Breakfast was freshly prepared, generous and tasty and was served on the lovely patio by the pool.

We left out of Vancouver for a cruise and I wanted a different experience than a hotel and thr Stone Hedge didn't disappoint. Brian was a excellent host!!! Very accommodating and full of knowledge ! The breakfasts were spectacular! I would come to Vancouver just to stay here!

The Stone Hedge is a truly “full service” BnB. Brian could not do more for his guests. He was welcoming, cheerful, witty, interesting, entertaining, knowledgeable, helpful, and adept at what he does. I wish I had talked to him on the phone before renting a car and setting out on my own. He had great suggestions as to where to explore and some places he could offer discounts to, always appreciated. The breakfast was amazing in taste, quality, and abundance! All delicious! Fruit, fresh bakery goods, mains such as eggs Benedict and coddled eggs perfect, coffee wonderful. The grounds of the BnB are attractive and my suite beautifully decorated, super clean, and comfortable, with every need anticipated. But it was the small touches that were nice: cozy robes and slippers, brandy carafe, chocolate on the pillow, bath salts and candles for the whirlpool tub. Overall, a delightful 3 day stay and will stay there again when back in Vancouver. I enthusiastically recommend this BnB! Sometimes when picking an unknown place, you get lucky and discover a winner!

Sorry Expedia, I couldn't review earlier because I lost my cell phone at the YVR so I had no connection during whole my 14 day travel. Anyway, I've had not at all pleasant stay at the "Stone Hedge" which I realized the name sound like a cemetery after my rather spooky experience there. The place had no one but a man, owner who was not at all friendly that showed me a room to stay and the down the hallway bathroom for me to use instead of a bathroom next to the room I was to stay. Furnishings were very antiquesh old and gloomy. But most of all knowing that only one guest "me" and the owner, 60ish man who is not at all personable, berely spoke to him, was very uneasy the whole time I was there. I hardly slept the night because I kept remembering a movie I saw years past. So I wouldn't recommend the place to a solo woman travelers.

Brian was truly amazing he definitely knows how to run a B&B! Great breakfast on the go he made us as we left at 5:15 am! He was waiting for us to shuttle us to airport!

Perfect option for a stay near the airport. Location was super quiet which was great after a long flight. Really appreciated the ease of the airport pick up and drop off, as well as the delicious breakfast. Thanks so much for the homemade jelly!

If you are looking for a charming B&B, look no further! Owners, Brian and Linda did a marvelous job of hosting us. We stayed in the safari room, which was beautiful. Not only did Brian pick us up from the airport when we arrived, but he also drove us to our cruise port to depart on our Alaskan cruise. Linda cooked us the most delicious breakfast, which Brian served with charm. They made our first trip to Canada a wonderful one!

Room and gardens and pool very nice. Special touches. Good transport to airport. People were nice except when I showed up early to ask to store bags and wait until check in as my ride needed to leave me. Went nuts on me. Took bags but wouldn’t let me stay there for an hour and 1/2. They could have been a lot more friendly about it instead to angry and put out. Otherwise nice place.

Very welcoming. Owners picked us up from the airport and took us to train station the next day for our cruise. Beautiful neighborhood for walk in the evening with nearby restaurants. Much better and cheaper option than downtown.

Had a great stay at stone hedge. I was able to get picked up from the airport. There were nearby places to eat food within a quick walking distance. The place is super nice and the bed was awesome. The breakfast they provided was also great. I would love to come back the next time I get to stay in Vancouver. Highly recommend this place.

Brian was a great host, picking me up from the airport promptly and making me feel at home. Room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The outdoor space also looked like a fantastic place to hang out, though I didn’t get a chance to spend much time there. Located in a nice quiet residential area.

Beautiful property and the hosts were very kind. It's a short walk from a bus stop, and as your host will probably inform you, the roads around Richmond are built on even ground, so you won't have to traverse up or down any hills. That being said they offer airport pick up and drop off, along with drop off at the Canada Line if you're adventuring outside of Richmond. The rooms are very comfortable, I stayed only two nights, one at the beginning of my vacation, and one for the last night of my trip. Originally I had booked the Royal Suite for the two non-consecutive nights, but was upgraded to the Safari House for the last night. Both rooms were comfortable, cozy and well stocked with various snacks and drinks. Your host offers a turn down service, along with a delicious decanter of orange brandy (very good with hot chocolate) Breakfast is delicious and filling, and the host is responsive to any calls and questions. I will book again the next time I'm visiting Canada, it was truly a great experience.

Liked owner and family. Their pride and joy, well-earned and much deserved. Our requests(for dishes and cutlery to eat some leftovers) were accommodated elegantly. Breakfast is top-notch: both tasty and in exceptional taste. Sole negative is that it's too far from Vancouver for sightseeing (we had no car). We did enjoy visiting Steveston and the cannery, but one day and two nights was our stay and would anyway have been the limit absent a car.

This B&B is great for a transfer via YVR. Close to terminal with free transfers available. We picked up a car from the airport and drove and was easy to find. Welcome was warm and informative. Nice touches such as welcome orange brandy. We stayed in the Royal Room which was good with a comfortable bed. This room has its own separate bathroom (not en-suite). We checked out early so can't rate breakfast. Host provided a to-go breakfast of fruit and muffins.

The host likes to tell stories and to entertain the guests. The back yard is quite serene. They played relaxing music to set the mood around the chaise lounges and pool. I was exhausted and went straight to bed. The bed was very comfortable. I was given good directions to walk to a nearby mall for dinner and to the Richmond wharf and canning museum for entertainment the next day. The breakfast consisted of 3-4 separate courses, including coddled eggs, fresh fruit and muffins. Way over the top. It was nice to chat with the other guests. This is the way B&Bs used to be decades ago. I would definitely stay here again.

What a delightful second stay at the property. Our host, Brian is professional and welcoming and extremely helpful. Our breakfast of muesli, fruit and yoghurt compote was beautifully presented, followed by a healthy muffin, followed by coddled eggs and bacon followed by two croissants and spreads. Of course, coffee was served at the beginning of breakfast as well as being topped up during the meal. Our room was comfortable with every possible requirement provided. Comfortable armchairs, TV, variety of refreshments and snacks included. Even a microwave. Brian also collected us from the airport and returned us for our journey onwards. Thank you to Brian, our host. We will return next time we visit Canada. (Which is every two years)

The space was immaculate and the breakfast was more than we could have wanted. From the setting of the table, the service by Brian (Carol was the chef…we never met her though) was light hearted and professional and the quality of the meal. All exceptional! The extra added bonus of Brian providing transport to and from the airport was a huge deciding factor in our choice to stay there. Highly recommend!!

Wow…I wish I could give it an 11. The owners were wonderful. The Safari Suite bed was super comfy and they made up the room in true safari fashion. They picked us up at the Richmond rail station, they drove us to dinner, and provided us with a shuttle to the airport with muffins and fruit. Probably the best hospitality I have experienced in many years of travel…

Just an overnight stay. Easy transfer to and from airport and a nice quiet stay for less cost than airport hotels. Was up graded to Safari as the only guest, the courtyard looked like a nice place to hang out if staying longer.. Enjoyed the big breakfast.

La reception et la sympathie du propriétaire. Pour le petit-déjeuner le propriétaire a pris un soins tout particulier : je suis né le même jour (pas la même année) que le roi Charles III, mais je ne suis pas roi et pourtant j'ai été servi comme un roi. Il m'a ensuite amené à l'aéroport. La seule chose que je déplore est l'impossibilité de le contacter par sms ou WhatsApp.

The owners could not have been more attentive! Due to early excursions missed sit down breakfasts but each time we were packed a lunch. Drove us to meeting points and excellent airport shuttle. Provided excellent recommendations for tourism and restaurants. Beautiful grounds and we had our own courtyard. Would definitely return!!
