The place is run down. No maid service parking lot was an ice skating rink, no salt or sand. @$91 a night, it's way over-priced

We were looking forward to the view of the lake and sitting out on the patio. Unfortunately we couldn't do that, patio door was broken, cob webs in the room. Very much unsatisfying. Won't be back.

It was an average motel, rooms were clean and we would stay here again if in that area.

Although relatively clean, the paint job was terrible, cobwebs visible, furniture beat up, patio door handle broken. I’d rather pay $110 vs. 86 and make one out of 2 hotels the better one.

We stayed one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and it’s clear the owners take pride in their motel. Everything was quiet, convenient, and exactly what we needed. We appreciate the hospitality and would happily stay again.

Desk clerk was very rude!!! Rooms were out dated and not clean, cobwebs and dust bunnies everywhere, old beds were very uncomfortable.

From check in to check out it was horrible. The room was DIRTY! Hair in the sink, tub was filthy and the knobs on the shower were old and squeaky. The beds had hair on them. They were sold out so no room change. We requested a lower room because we had our dog with us and the lady said there were non available. No coffee in the morning and breakfast was a joke. A 2 gallon jug of milk with cereal boxes and some packaged donuts is not breakfast. You also has to forcefully push the door open to get in and the air conditioner went on and off. Would not recommend!!!

We were glad we could get a second night added to our reservation. Easy to change from the road. A large balcony and pleasant view of the lake. Enjoyed both days reading the lake. We had coffee, banana, and juice for breakfast--since we are both gluten free, the pastries were avoided as was the cereal. Will return there on a further trip.

Like any other cheaper hotel but this room had electric floor heating that was not adjustable and stayed on all night. It was very hot when we arrived but were only there to drop off before a wedding. It stayed on all night and we had to run the AC with the patio door open all night to compensate

Staff was nice & the hotel was good enough. The rooms are a little dated and not the standards of a chain hotel but for the price, I'd stay there again.

They could have turned on the air conditioning before we arrived :( I am not exaggerating when I say it was 100 degrees in the room when we arrived at 10 pm. Finally cooled down around 3am maybe. Awful night’s sleep. So inconsiderate

The room was clean. It was quiet. The towels were new and super fluffy. But… The bed was awful. Hard and broken springs. The hot water in the bathtub wouldn’t turn all the way off and dripped all night. No breakfast or coffee even though the listing said they were included. First time I have ever been charged a service fee for using a credit card to pay for a hotel room. I’m not exactly the type that pays cash for a room, know what I mean? But the owners are a young family and it’s obvious they are trying to turn the hotel around. I hope they are able to. Truly and would recommend using the hotel and supporting them

Need updates to building hard to open deck door screen fell off track beds are in very poor condition

New owners have just taken over. In the process of updating the rooms. The balcony/patio over looks a very pretty lake. Close to downtown Phillips and the lakefront with bandshell and splash pad. Would stay here again!

My reservation wasn’t confirmed because I didn’t put in a credit card number but they were very accommodating.

Rooms are clean. Motel is close to downtown.

Traveled 3 1/2 hours for work,didn’t know the area. Picked this hotel because of the advertised Lake View, proximity to work site and offered continental breakfast. Lake was across the street. Traffic was loud. Hard to slide patio doors opened to the " View" with a full used ash tray. Seemed okay from outside,a little weathered,otherwise seemed fine. Upon entry into room, a Very Bad odor of unclean bodies hit you right in the face. Terrible smell. Bathroom floor was wet,possibly just washed,I hope. There were stains around the bottom of toilet, looked like stains from leaks on the bathroom ceiling. The whole interior of room was old, outdated and smelly. Overstuffed chair in room had debris on it. Blankets were were haphazardly on bed,one side more on floor then not. An extra blanket was requested upon reservation , Not supplied, had to ask and was questioned wether or not if it was requested during reservation. Paper thin walls,ceiling. Guest upstairs sounded like was walking right inside the room.Had to " clean " areas I was using with alcohol wipes and bought a Large can of Lysol to spray Everything. Greatly disgusted with this " Hotel" and will Never recommend this hotel to anyone or stay there again. This is an honest & fair review of this hotel,wish I could give a better one. However, the person who checked me in was pleasant enough.

They said there would be breakfast in the morning, there wasn’t any and the coffee was cold. No internet so no T.v. To watch…
