We loved the homey feel and comfort of our stay in this one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. It was close to everything we wanted to see in town. Check in was easy and welcoming at the Victorian Inn a short block away, and we could park in front of our room. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated between very hot and cold and overall the property is dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and we'd return, especially if the price is better.

Our Room was clean and tidy. I liked that we could park in front of the unit. I didn't see the email that explained the registration was 1/2 bock down at the Victorian Inn, but there was a sign in the parking lot that said where to go. This was a nice place to stay and was more affordable than lots of places in Ferndale. I also really liked the continental breakfast at the Victorian Inn, which is included. Great muffins, hard-boiled eggs, juice, excellent coffee! The new trainee at the front desk was a lovely lady. I would stay there again.

This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting.

Everything in town is walking distance. You have a full kitchen with everything to cook with full-size refrigerator. It’s like a little apartment. My only complaint is the bed is a little hard, but I’m used to a super soft bed at home. I love this place and I stay here every time I am visiting Ferndale

Redwood Suites is like stepping back into time…around late 60’s early 70’s decor. That said, the room was clean and kitchen was pretty well appointed. Shower is tiny. Continental breakfast available in the Hotel across the street and there was in room coffee available. The pub in the main hotel is excellent.
