TheHOUSE was built in 1959 by my late grandfather to house his large and ever growing family. Over the next 50 years, it would be at the center of my familys life. It saw weddings, first communions, huge parties and baptisms, as well as all the little everyday events that make up life.It was almost invaded during the 1974 revolution but thats a story I will tell you over breakfast one day. Featuring a rooftop terrace with a panoramic view over Lisbon and the Tejo River, TheHOUSE Lisboa is a charming guest house in the Estrela/Lapa district, a 2-minute walk from Baslica da Estrela.
