Really outstanding hotel near the center of Roma Norte. I came here for the location -- almost all the best restaurants are walking distance -- but I was pleasantly surprised at the fast wifi, free breakfast, rooftop patio, and excellent maintenance of the facilities.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean. I didn’t like that there was construction going on, and they very noisy since early in the morning. Also there is a parking lot next to the hotel, and there is constant noice during the day.

Excelente hotel a unos pasos de la avenida Álvaro Obregón donde se encuentran muchos restaurantes, bares y tiendas. La zona es inmejorable, el hotel está en muy buenas condiciones y la habitación de buen tamaño. El único detalle fue el baño que olía mucho a drenaje. El desayuno sencillo pero basto y rico. Definitivamente me volvería a hospedar en este hotel.

Room was drab but bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and appreciated 24 hour coffee on tap. Staff friendly but booking system on arrival was a problem as front desk did not have our reservation.

Very modern and well designed budget hotel in a good neighborhood. The rooms had everything, from a hair dryer to a retractible clothesline, plus a cleverly designed sleeping area and seating. Theres even an elevator! Would definitely book again!!

The property offers affordable, clean, great value accommodation with efficient use of space and the amenities you need. Staff are friendly and approachable. The map and digital guide is incredibly helpful. The gym is very basic though

Las habitaciones son diferentes, bonitas en general pero les falta ventilacion o una ventana que al menos de al pasillo. Se olvidaron de hacer la limpieza del cuarto uno de los días. El servicio en el desayuno y en el estacionamiento muy buenos.

Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación y el servicio del hotel super amables. En general hay muuucha humedad y eso huzo que nuestro cuarto oliera muy fuerte a humedad, extraño que no hay estacionamiento y debes pagar poco $60 pesos por 24 hrs, pero en el estacionamiento no son muy amables. La zona lo mejor.

Everything Price Rooftop Breakfast

La ubicación es lo mejor de este hotel. Alrededor hay disponible desde tiendas de conveniencia hasta restaurantes imperdibles, así que todo esta a a mano. El hotel esta un poco descuidado, las toallas por ejemplo son grises en vez de blancas. Y la limpieza podría mejorar pero esta ene nivel suficiente. Por un día o dos, aceptable.

Found used syringes and used condoms on the bed frame of my first room, then was transferred to a second room where I found blood in the mattress pad. Disgusting. Repulsive.

The hotel is clean, uniquely styled, in a safe upscale touristy area, with several nice restaurants nearby. The included simple breakfast was nice. Easy walking to lots of main tourist attractions and transportation options. Staff was friendly and helpful as needed. Would stay there again if in Mexico City.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado en Roma Norte. Cerca de Colima y con muchas cosas para hacer cerca. Pero a nuestra llegada, la habitación que nos dieron tenía muchas filtraciones, y olía mucho a humedad. Quisimos que nos reembolsaran nuestro dinero pero dijeron solo podían hacerlo a una habitación de las habitaciones (teníamos 3). Así que la solución fue cambiarnos de habitación. El diseño de las habitaciones es extraño, con las camas encajonadas, luz insuficiente, toallas y sábanas que necesitan recambio. El personal es muy amable, pero no compensa la falta de mantenimiento que tiene el hotel

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were nice and firm after a long day of walking. The breakfast was nice and simple. Good to grab a bite before your real big meal at your destination. The coffee machine was nice as well. The location was great. Very walkable and lots of cafes around. Uber was great for further away destinations and super cheap. I was worried about other reviews stating it was loud, but we didn’t have that issue at all! Very cute and artsy hotel!

I loved almost everything about the stay. I wasn't thrilled with the restroom walls and think they need attention. They had obvious crud on them and hadn't been wiped down. With that being said, the staff, the room, the hotel itself was wonderful and i would happily stay there again. The price was so reasonable, especially for what you get. Id recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The room I was given was infested with bedbugs. Have bites all over my face and mostly the visible parts of my body. Can’t stress how awful I look

The space was quite nice. We had a one year old with us, and booked a suite which gave us two bedrooms/one bathroom in our room which was perfect. Very quirky and fun, the breakfast was nice, staff very helpful, excellent location (highly recommend the street tacos right outside). The biggest downside was that the floor of our room was quite dirty. We requested it be mopped and it was better, but still left your socks (and the toddler’s hands) dirty. I would recommend this hotel, but maybe not with a child who is constantly on the floor.

The hotel is in a good location, close to many bars and restaurants. From the bedrooms, was not possible to listen to the street noise, so it was easy to sleep. The bed was comfortable too. In my opinion, the breakfast was good (I am vegetarian). There are 2 bad things for me: the windows you can see in the pictures, are fake! So, once you are in your room, you can't see outside. Besides that, the two rooms I stayed in needed a better cleaning.

En general bien, las camas son un poco incomodas el espacio es muy reducido para dos personas.

There was nowhere to keep all of our clothes. There was many wood areas that could have been used to place hooks. Lots of hooks to hang a bag a purse a coat jacket a blouse pants etc. !!! There were only 3 hangers??? My husband and I had many linen shirts and pants that had to be thrown in our suitcase. Oddly the ironing board was in a weird place. Put it in the corner and put 6 hooks on that wood wall. Hooks when you walk in to hang things. I don’t want to put my things on the floor. Also when you walk into the room to the left we could have used 3 shelves to organize our things with. It was a bad use of space. We bought lots of crafts that we had to put on the dirty floor. Whomever designed the rooms for function did not know what they were doing. Also the man at the entrance maybe a security guard during our last several days never looked at us never greeted us and seemed angry. We all thought it was strange.

Convenient location with some nice eateries. Comfortable bed and quite quiet room. Breakfast starts late (7am during the week, 8am at weekends) so if you’re planning morning tours, don’t choose the breakfast because there is no early takeaway option. Shower head needs to be replaced, and there is very poor water pressure as soon as someone else opens a tap somewhere in the building.

Very clean, simple. Comfortable beds. Basic breakfast included. No windows, odd, but livable. Nice staff, spoke English which is helpful. Walkable to many restaurants. Beautiful park nearby.

We had really bad experience with this hotel. Although the location is excellent, it's horrible otherwise: (1) Upon check-in, we had to change rooms multiple times: -- the first room is a corner room. Very small. No sitting area. No window. The shower/toilet is on one side of the bed. The sink is on the other side of the bed. One needs to walk across the room around the bed just to wash hands after using toilet. And there is a LOUD beep from the hallway every couple of minutes. Sounded like low battery of a smoke detector. We were told the sound/beep cannot be fixed until the next day and offered to change us to a different room. In fact, the beeping sound was NOT fixed for the entire week we stayed at the hotel. -- for the second room, the door could not be locked properly. We were told that it was due to the battery issue. They tried to change the battery but couldn't. -- for the third room, we could still hear the beep from the hallway. After the first night of sleep, I had 5 bites on my arms. These bites became big blisters later on. I went to see a doctor and he said that it's spider bites. (2) The shower water pressure is non-existent. The water temperature change randomly from hot to cold. (3) No windows to see outside. (4) They would give only one keycard for two people in a room. It's a problem when one person becomes sick. (5) Hand/bath towels were missing sometimes. The soap dispenser didn't work sometimes. Don't ruin your vacation with this hotel.

LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD. Don’t trust any other review on this site that gloat about this hotel. Most importantly, this place is LOUD. Each room has a heavy metal door that has to be slammed shut. So at night you hear endless “SLAM” in the echoing hallway. And that echoing hallway carries the voice of every inconsiderate drunk stumbling in the wee hours of the morning. Next our floors were constantly gross and I don’t think the floor was ever mopped, maybe swept, but definitely not mopped. Finally, it’s a two person room with barely space for one person to store anything, no storage at all. There wasn’t even a space or chairs to relax in room. Make sure you take notice of the crib style bed, it sucks if someone has to use the bathroom at night, they will wake the other.

Excellent location, modern design. Lots of plugs and light options. Our room did not have a window you could open, not sure if all are like this. Shower pressure was very inconsistent Wifi reach was terrible - basically only being able to connect standing next to the door- not very practical.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the services offered by the hotel were top-tier. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful, so many restaurant options in the area (gluten free included) and felt safe. Hotel is in a great location and has a cool modern industrial look.

A friend and I stayed at the Hotel MX Roma for one night after returning to CDMX from Oaxaca. We stayed in the one suite the hotel has available; although I had expected a living room with two adjoining bedrooms, it was more like two bedrooms connected in a shotgun style. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel whole-heartedly. On the plus side, the location is amazing. You are in the heart of Roma Norte, and we were able to walk to our dinner reservation at El Tigre Silencioso and to get cocktails at Bar Las Brujas. The rooms are relatively spacious and modern. However, our stay had problems from the start. The hotel states that 3 p.m. is check-in time, and we arrived around 3:15 p.m. The receptionist told us that our room was not ready, and she could not give us an estimate as to when it would be ready. Ultimately, we were able to get into our room a little bit past 4:30 p.m. The receptionist gave us one key for two people. The power in the rooms only work if a key is left inserted in a slot by the door, making it a problem later in the evening. Additionally, the air conditioner was broken in one of the bedrooms. A staff member came to help, and his only fix was to turn off the power for a minute. The AC did come back on briefly, but then it stopped working again. I decided it was not worth it asking the staff to help again. Instead, I waited for my friend to leave for her early flight at 2 a.m. and switched to her room, where the air conditioning worked.

The hotel is in a privileged location, in the heart of the Roma neighborhood, a few steps from cafes, good restaurants, parks, shops, bars, everything. You can walk to the most emblematic points of the city such as Reforma, Chapultepec, Historic Center. The hotel service is excellent. I have read comments from people who complain about the breakfast but it is O.K for the price you pay, it is not a luxury hotel but it has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The only observation I would make is that from very early they play music in the hallways and the sound carries through the room but other than that everything was very good and I would stay at this hotel again.

O hotel é super bem localizado, numa região muito bonita da cidade, com opções de mercado, farmacia e muitos restaurantes a poucos passos. Fica a cerca de 10 minutos de caminhada até o metrô. A região não é muito barulhenta e nos sentimos bastante seguros, inclusive ao retornar ao hotel após o jantar. O quarto é amplo, confortável, mas sentimos falta de um frigobar. O café da manhã é gostoso, típico e com boa variedade. O atendimento é muito gentil e amigável. Super recomendo!

I loved this hotel! Even thought the rooms might be a little bit small. The area, the neighborhood, the staff and breakfast were awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy and the girl that works in the front desk are really friendly. The security guy is very nice and friendly too. Breakfast might be a little simple but it’s really good. If you’re staying in Mexico City, I highly recommend this hotel!!!
