One elevator not working, long waits. Busy signals when I called guess services. Laundry machine not working. Guess services, which didn’t exist, could have informed me of the laundry location and that the washer was not working but I waited at elevators carrying laundry around to find it was a total waste of time. No continental breakfast. Restaurant on site $15-20. for breakfast.

The property was pretty nice but the one elevator is very slow and the other was out of service and has been for some time, we used the steps most of the time. The fitness center had no wipes to clean equipment. The chairs outside were nice but most were covered with seagull droppings as well as goose droppings on the grounds. But it was super convenient for what we wanted and the restaurant was nice. The cost was reasonable.

Cool spot… great location… One elevator out of order, the other clearly getting the bulk of the use, needs cleaning. Fridge did not keep things cold, even though turned up to high… beautiful spot.. I highly recommend

The hotel was 'ok'. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Our King Size bedroom was adequate. Wish the refrigerator had a freezer section. The restaurant was out of steak (not sure how that happens at 6:00 pm in the evening). It also doesn't allow substitutions (i.e. change brussel sprouts for broccoli). That being said the food we did eat was very good. One of the two elevators was not working, which made the wait longer.The pool was not accessible for maintenance. It was very small and green.

Excellent location…6 floors, 2 elevators, one not working and according to locals has been not working for 1 year. If people are fit can use stairs. Staff and guests have to wait forever to ride the 1 elevator. Who ever is top dog in this place is being inconsiderate to guests and staff by not getting elevator fixed. I will not stay there again (stayed for 5 nights)if this situation persists.

They have a problem with seagulls, there are droppings and feathers everywhere. There was a lot of trash outside, I noticed a coffee cup sitting on top of a trash can for 3 days. I reserved a lake front room and the room window was filthy with droppings and feathers. Our room was clean and comfortable, but there is a reason why you stay at a lake front hotel, and this one has dropped the ball on a clean pleasant lakefront experience.

The property was just dirty. One elevator was broken, the pool was absolutely disgusting and small. One of the washing machines out of the two was broken on our floor, no ice machine on the floor. Our shower knob kept falling off. Our Lake view was 3/4 blocked by a festival tent set up outside. Once we walked out back by the lake, it was beautiful though. Definitely not worth the price of the stay. Oh, and the restaurant and bar were not open on a Sunday. That part they didn’t tell us.

Once upon a time at a hotel…. When you walk into the lobby, it’s inviting and staff is friendly. However, that’s where it ends. There is a broken elevator and looking at past reviews, it’s been down for at least a month. Our room… we had a lake view as we requested. That was nice.. but now the story goes south. Room was dirty. Very limited towels and wash cloths. All the furniture had a layer of dust. The bathroom… I wish there was a place to add pictures. But let me say gross. They have in the shower and on the wall near sink, metal wall containers with soap, lotion, shampoo… they are so dirty and rusted! The bathroom floor was dirty and to top it off, in the morning there was mice droppings on the bathroom counter. We always read reviews before booking a hotel and we truly are amazed that so many people commented on how clean and nice their room is. Maybe they hit the wine trail 1st before checking in and didn’t notice! For us, we will not be staying here again. As for the outside property.. it was ok. Plenty of parking. If you are ok with bird feathers and poop all over your car, walking areas and patio.. then sure, this is for you. Only good thing I can honestly say is staff was nice. The end.

Hotel was simply dirty. Especially the room bathroom. Clumps of hair coupled with stickiness on the floor, made for a true ick factor. Not sure what the overall odor of the hotel could be described as but it certainly was not fresh or indicative of clean. To sum it up, it was smelly and sticky.

Great location, beautiful view of the lake and 5 mins away from Hobart, which was the reason for the trip. The hotel itself is outdated, and I didn’t feel like it was very clean, specially the bathroom. There was mold on the shower and the floor was pretty gross. One of the elevators was not working, I’m not sure how long it’s been that way, so with 6 floors, lots of guests, and one elevator, everything took way too long. The parking lot was very inconvenient, and I encountered some of the staff there “pre gaming”. Also, their restoring is closed on Sundays, as are most of the places down town, so beware. Overall I might stay again, but only due to its location.

Not Clean. We booked a King Room Suite with a Jacuzzi tub. When we checked in and went to our room it was dirty. Scuff marks on the walls, streaks & smears on the furniture, big soap scum smear on the shower glass, small hole/tear in the flooring, bed sheets VERY WRINKLED and generally not clean. Also the elevator floor was filthy! Looked like it had never been cleaned. I went back to the desk a wanted another room. They did NOT have another King Suite w/Jacuzzi. so we moved to another regular room. Still not very clean, but better. We were not impressed with the eating facility, and only ate there once! Also, one of the two elevators was not working. I enquired at the front desk when it would be fixed? Not for another MONTH! Not good! The Tiny indoor pool looked terrible. Murky water, we dared not to use it. The location was great, it was in walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. The Lake was beautiful. Geneva was a cool town to visit. I'd like to go there again, but I would not book a room at this place.

It was an OK stay but the rooms were worn down and definitely not "redone" or "new". It was slightly dirty; the shower had stains and the floor felt slimy. The chair it the room was torn and dirty- we did not sit in it. The bed was fine and clean, but the pillows were oddly small for a king sized bed. Overall, fine for the one night we needed, but not worth the price and not super clean.

Beautiful lake location. Walkable to downtown Geneva and restaurants. We had to change rooms 3 times due to cleanliness of the room, sheets, walls and the toilet not flushing. They only have 1 elevator working. Owners could have a 5 star rating if updates to hotel, maintenance and cleanliness was improved.

There was blood on the comforter, I asked to talk to management and they stated she was not able to speak with me. I am so bothered that I slept in sheets in that condition. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor will I be returning

Cozy hotel in a beautiful location on Seneca Lake. Clean, up-to-date, and excellent front desk service. Only issue was the AC/heating system fan, which was blowing right at one of the beds, at a velocity that seemed unnecessarily high.

Stayed here because if the view. We were on the third floor and windows were high and small, couldn’t sit and see out. Property was in need of maintenance. Many things didn’t work, remote, lights, coffe pot in room needed cleaning, tasted moldy. Food at restaurant was awful. One evevator closed , didn’t work. Grounds needed care.

The property area is beautiful but the inside of the building could use a little updating. The beds are older and not the most comfortable. There's not much light and no easy access plugs for computer or phone charging. The outside is home to hundreds of 'seagulls' and their feathers and 'droppings' are everywhere. Not very appealing. Once you step away from the building where they make their home on the roof, the boardwalk and adjacent park is lovely.

Unfortunately HVAC was faulty. First room was freezing 57 on entry. Second room was over 99 on entry. Opened windows and left door open to air out. Switching on the heat caused it heat back up over 85. Had to run AC but would fluctuate wildly. Only stayed one night but dealt with it. Bed was not great. Stingy on towels. Price for off season was ok

The room was neat looking, but the carpet needed attention and the bedding was questionable. There were little black things inside the sheets which made me think the sheets should have been changed. The bathroom was clean and the towels were fresh. We were traveling with two dogs but being right outside the elevator was a big distraction causing the dogs to bark.

Elevator still out for over a week so wait times were longer since we were on top floor. Bed framing was ripped and pieces falling off. Chair arm was filthy and stained so we covered it with bathroom towel and we killed two fuzzy spiders running around in the bathroom. View was beautiful though

This was a nice property with a great view. There were some cosmetic issues such as a hole in the wall where they repaired bathroom pipes. Some of the old bathroom fixtures need replacing. Shower handle came off but was easily fixable. The AC was limited and a bit stuffy but in room, but overall nice accommodations. Just not 5 star. Beds were comfortable. We would stay again if in the area as the lakefront location was very nice.

Below standard for a Wyndham. One of only two elevators were down so getting to and from our room was not a great experience. The bed was super low to the floor and very uncomfortable. We could not get the room temp to adjust so we went from 80 on the thermostat down to 57 during the night. On the plus, good water pressure. The night before we stayed in Canandaigua in a Microtel Wyndham. It was a bit better experience. The hotel was spotless, the staff very accommodating but breakfast was nothing to write home about and the bed was again terribly uncomfortable. Sorry to say I’m be very hesitant to book another Wyndham.

Once upon a time at a hotel…. When you walk into the lobby, it’s inviting and staff is friendly. However, that’s where it ends. There is a broken elevator and looking at past reviews, it’s been down for at least a month. Our room… we had a lake view as we requested. That was nice.. but now the story goes south. Room was dirty. Very limited towels and wash cloths. All the furniture had a layer of dust. The bathroom… I wish there was a place to add pictures. But let me say gross. They have in the shower and on the wall near sink, metal wall containers with soap, lotion, shampoo… they are so dirty and rusted! The bathroom floor was dirty and to top it off, in the morning there was mice droppings on the bathroom counter. We always read reviews before booking a hotel and we truly are amazed that so many people commented on how clean and nice their room is. Maybe they hit the wine trail 1st before checking in and didn’t notice! For us, we will not be staying here again. As for the outside property.. it was ok. Plenty of parking. If you are ok with bird feathers and poop all over your car, walking areas and patio.. then sure, this is for you. Only good thing I can honestly say is staff was nice. The end.

The hotel offers large and comfortable rooms right on the shore of Lake Seneca, at a walking distance from downtown Geneva. There are very nice lake views and access to a beautiful lake promenade. HOWEVER, the lack of staff can be felt throughout the facilities. Our rooms (my party had 3 of them) were never serviced, even though we asked three times to have fresh towels and coffee-making supplies. We had to ask at the desk for towels and supplies, but the promised room service never materialized. Very disappointing, because it could have been a perfect stay. We could come back if the manager promises to hire more people when it is required, and based on attendance. The poor room technician we crossed once looked perfectly exhausted and certainly not happy.

The check-in took way too long. There was only one attendant working behind the desk on a Friday with several people waiting to check in and it was already after 4 PM. Our room wasn’t as clean as it should have, there was no TV remote, there were no toiletries, and there were only two towels. No one came to clean the room nor did anyone asked if we needed anything the entire weekend. The coffee station in the lobby did not have any coffee both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The worst part for me was Friday night. I came back to the room by myself and my key did not work. A gentleman that was speaking to the attendant in the lobby, saw me and came right over. He used a white bracelet he was wearing to unlock and push the door open for me. He did not tell me his name nor who he was nor was he wearing a uniform or an ID. I freaked out and called my partner to come over immediately. The next morning we told the front desk attendant and all we got was “oh yeah, he works here, our apologies ”. This was unacceptable considering I was worried and didn’t sleep. We paid almost $1,000.00 for a room with a parking lot view to put up with zero amenities, safety concerns and below standard customer service so we left very upset and super disappointed.

Very Bad Maintenance. Requested staff to remove the garbage and change the towels, many times. Very Bad customer service. No response to Guest service calls. One Elevator was out of Order. The only positive thing was Location.

We really loved our stay at the hotel. Everything was very clean, in close proximity to attractions and had many amenities. One piece of advice would be to improve communication between the kitchen and the main hotel. We paid for our food at the restaurant/bar. However, even though the bill was paid, it was still placed on our room as unpaid. So we had to pay our bill twice. We did pay it, because we didn’t save the receipt. But I have a charge on my statement for the same amount twice. One from the restaurant and one from the hotel. I will still recommend this place, I have no issues with it. However people will not always pay twice for their meals. Otherwise this is a great facility and again, we will still come back. I’ll plan to keep my receipts handy next time.

What I did not like was that I was charged $30 for early arrival, even though the room was ready. We basically just dropped our luggage off and set off to the wineries. This will definitely make a difference where I stay next time.

Location of this property is magnificent! Lakefront views and terraces make it a stellar option. Property offers plenty of outdoor seating to absorb the scenery with access to a public dock, pier and dangerously close proximity to an ice cream shop next door. Easy walking access to the many restaurants and shops in the downtown area. Our room was very comfortably furnished and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Really wished we'd brought our bikes to take advantage of the bike/walking trail that went past the hotel along the lake. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay and will return when in the area.

Great hotel on the water. One elevator broken and the working elevator was a bit iffy. Great place to visit the finger lakes Beautiful views of the lake from back patio of the hotel. We had breakfast and drinks at night and watched the beautiful view of the water and the sunrise and sunset. Close to downtown with plenty of restaurants and bars. We drove to the different lakes. Very central.

The 41 Lakefront hotel has a great location, right on Seneca Lake, and the view from the rooms is impressive. There's a nice park along the lakeside and downtown Geneva is a short walk away. The hotel restaurant was good, as was the room. The one drawback was a broken elevator (out of two total) but this was actively being repaired during our stay and no doubt will soon be back in service.

One elevator not working, long waits. Busy signals when I called guess services. Laundry machine not working. Guess services, which didn’t exist, could have informed me of the laundry location and that the washer was not working but I waited at elevators carrying laundry around to find it was a total waste of time. No continental breakfast. Restaurant on site $15-20. for breakfast.

It was raining when we arrived and venturing out for dinner didn't sound fun. We went to the hotel restaurant and had the best dinner! The staff in the restaurant was friendly and efficient. Lovely view of the lake at dinner. The hotel was great. Easy parking, clean, quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

No soap in the sink or shower dispensers. Text that woke us up at 8 am to allow us to check out online and wanted to no when we were leaving (such hospitality!), and restaurant food and bar not good. Serving a very dirty martini when we just asked for very dry is bad enough. Serving essentially the same thing the second time when we suggested just vodka on the rocks is crazy. The "flatbread" was the quality of a pretty bad frozen pizza. The setting is great--right on Seneca Lake, and the people were nice, so I ate to review it harshly. But waking up to no soap anywhere in the bathroom is pretty bad all by itself. And when we mentioned these things at the front desk we got a curt "noted" from the manager--no apologies.

The hotel has a restaurant which is good. At night on weekend evenings, they very often have live music, which was wonderful. We have gone back multiple times because of the music Available right there in the hotel. No need to drive or uber back from a different location. The bar manager is extremely personable as well.

The hotel was 'ok'. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Our King Size bedroom was adequate. Wish the refrigerator had a freezer section. The restaurant was out of steak (not sure how that happens at 6:00 pm in the evening). It also doesn't allow substitutions (i.e. change brussel sprouts for broccoli). That being said the food we did eat was very good. One of the two elevators was not working, which made the wait longer.The pool was not accessible for maintenance. It was very small and green.

Loved being by the lake and next to the welcome center and the state park. Coffee was not good, but that’s a personal taste. Dinner menu at hotel was very limited and only changed once a week. No substitutions allowed.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were great but the restaurant experience was a disaster! Table of four took over half an hour to get our drinks, waited over an hour for our food and finally gave up and left. Couldn’t find someone to even speak to without having to get up go looking. Hotel itself could use a little TLC but you can’t beat the outside area.

Table of four took over half an hour to get our drinks, waited over an hour for our food and finally gave up and left. Couldn’t find someone to even speak to without having to get up go looking. Hotel itself could use a little TLC but you can’t beat the outside area.

Staff was great, restaurant was great (at the one end of hotel but you can get there through the inside). Nice bar across from restaurant, prices were fair based on NY Finger Lakes Region. Plenty of on-site parking close by. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, AC worked well. Exterior grounds were a little messy based on the seagulls (feathers and doodoo). Nice outdoor patio and seating by restaurant. Easy access to the main road and close by restaurants. Would definitely go back.

We checked in which was seamless. We decided to check out the pool before heading to our room which was green and ice cold. After settling in for the night we also noticed that they only provided 1 towel for a 2 queen room so we attempted to call down for more towels and the phone didn’t work at all. The pictures online were a bit deceiving and it is not as well kept as it appears.

Would not recommend Needs a makeover Outside around property needs to be cleaned up , lots of bird droppings, feathers, chairs you can’t sit on due to either being broken or filthy dirty Bedding was awful, can’t even call it a comforter super thin Room very basic Only thing was good location

The property is directly on the lake and I am sure it was beautiful as some point in time, however this is no longer the case. The elevator was dirty. The upholstered bed frame was torn. The bathroom shower in the ADA room that we occupied was in desperate need of updating and the corners of the shower were covered in mildew. All that said, the sheets were clean. It could be a lovely room and hotel once is totally renovated.
