The room was clean and comfortable, check-in easy with a gracious host. But no mistaking it…this property is a 1950s or 1960s era motel. Parking lot should be repaved and a camper trailer next to the office on property gave the whole place a semi-seedy atmosphere. Renovating may be coming. The location is excellent with restaurants and the bay only a block away.

Its a simple motel experience but what lifts it above the ordinary are: Location Cleanliness Easy Parking Naomi We could not praise Naomi highly enough. Friendly, helpful, welcoming, supportive. The only reason its not five stars for everything is it is a straightforward motel so dont expect, aircon a swimming pool and five star restaurant. Do expect to be at the centre of Horsehoe Bay nr the cafes and harbour in a clean and simole room with microwave, fridge a fan and comfortable bed and furniture.

The room was very nice and it was close to the Garry for foot traffic but a little harder to drive to. Finally got there with my gps. Kept missing the exit. But very nice place to stay. Parking lot is a little small but the room was huge.

Dreadful and unsatisfactory all around. Specifically, the carpeting was old and has probably never been steam cleaned, it was nasty. The fridge was unplugged with a freezer tray of warm melted water and a black hair on the top door shelf. The shower had no shelf or soap dish for toiletries. The mattress had pokey metal springs, noisy and should have been replaced years ago. At $212 for a night, this was terrible value. This was the worst motel experience we ever had. We picked it because of the proximity to the ferry, but that required driving back to the highway in a circuitous route which took more than 10 minutes. We will never come back here and hope when you read the reviews and if you want a clean place to stay, with good value, you will learn from us and choose another motel.

Check-un ultra bref , qui consiste juste au paiement express de la chambre . Odeur désagréable que l’on ne serait décrire , draps douteux ??? Taches jaunes …. Douche avec cheveux , équipements qui a besoin d’être renouvelé, toiles d’araignées…. Ronronnement incessant provenant de l’extérieur . Porte de la chambre qui ne se ferme pas de l’intérieur. Moquette mal odorante , ainsi que présence de poils d’animaux . Bref au prix de la chambre on aurait dormi à Vancouver ! Seul point positif le parking devant la chambre , l’intérêt du motel .

The room was super hot with no air conditioner, they did provide a fan in the room. Bed was super old and stiff and pillows were not the greatest. I get they’re the only hotel in town but for $348.00 a night it should be way better …

Location is great if you are taking an early ferry. Rooms are fine but dated. No AC but office did provide a fan. Carpet should really be pulled out. Our bathroom power did not work (GFI wouldn’t reset) and I had to ask at the office for a hairdryer. Expensive for what it is

Very soft beds, paper thin walls, carpet throughout room was very old and felt dirty. There was a window on the door that allows a lot of natural light to come in. Terrible value for the price I paid. Check in and out went very well and the receptionist was very nice.

Very near the ferries (you can watch them come and go) located in a very quaint village. The facilities are very clean, the bed comfortable and there's a beautiful view of the bay and the mountains behind it from the window and outside walkway. Convenient to walk around with a liquor store, bakery, gift shop and lots of food choices for dining.

They are super accommodating and kind! Our check in was supposed to be at 4pm but we checked in at 12am, they're not a 24h service but when I called to let them know we will be late they made sure to leave the door unlocked, our room cleaned and the light on so we can find it easier! :) Great service! The room was comfy, clean and very quiet!

This is an older property typical of a small tourist village with limited space for growth. The rooms were clean and right next to the main "downtown" where there are plenty of food and gift opportunities. Two blocks from the harbor. Very friendly staff.

If you’re staying at Horseshoe Bay to connect with the local ferry this is the place to stay, warm friendly welcome with the added bonus of a late check in. Rooms clean and comfortable with a good bathroom/shower complementary toiletries. Ferry terminal is within walking distance, what more could you want.

It was a VERY expensive night in an old motel with only cosmetic improvements done over the years. I would not recommend it to anyone. but if you must stay in Horseshoe Bay there are not many choices for accommodation. Annie B.

Front desk employee was very helpful, and made check in very easy. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. Black trash bag used as privacy screen over the window in the door, and no hair dryer or fridge in room. Great location. Within walking distance to all restaurants, small supermarket, ferry terminal and waterfront. Room cost was a little high for the age of the hotel, and amenities provided.

Front desk employee was very helpful, and made check in very easy. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. Black trash bag used as privacy screen over the window in the door, and no hair dryer or fridge in room. Great location. Within walking distance to all restaurants, small supermarket, ferry terminal and waterfront. Room cost was a little high for the age of the hotel, and amenities provided.
