We liked: the staff were brilliant particularly Stephanie Breakfast very good. For the price we paid over the Bank Holiday we were more than happy. Didnt like: car park is rough and looks a bit derelict. The interior and exterior looks very tired and could do with updating.

Very convenient location for visiting Chatham Dockyards & R.E. Museum. Interior, rooms and garden much better looking than initial carpark 60's motel appearance. Light and airy bedroom and bathroom. Single glazed so you might want to ask for a room garden side, away from busy Brompton Road though it is set back.Good size carpark. Decent bar and dining room areas, with unexpected and excellent local singer providing evening entertainment, though this may have been linked to the Dutch coach trips overnight stop. Quaint, privately run hotel, with many returning guests; adapted from original NAAFI site and still catering to corporate events for local military reunions. Would be happy to book again in prefence to chain hotels.

Love the decor and courtyards very friendly staff Parking is terrible at times people with walking difficulties must find it awful. One member of staff turned tv from football which I was watching while dining to Emmerdale even though one tv was already showing Emmerdale so three tv's on same channel usually one tv on freeview and 2 on sky sport

Signs for parking not great as it looks like a derelict car park on entering until you get round to the hotel. The grinding of the lift could be heard in my room every time it was used, TV was the size of an iPad. The WiFi didn’t work consistently. Shower pressure low. I had to wait 25 minutes for my breakfast. Even then I had to ask. I was told chef was sorting the delivery. The toast had hardly touched the toaster. Plus factor bedding was great. Not an overall great experience.

Breakfast staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel needs updating. Leaking ceiling in function room, stained toilet and shower but the power of the shower was very good. Crakes sink in bathroom. Coffee stains on wall and broken bedroom furniture.

The shower was dirty. The access from the road was unclear, we drove past twice because we had to drive through what appeared to be a building site to get to the car park. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast bacon was uneatable.

Hotel looked a bit daunting from the outside as it was just myself and my daughter staying. But i couldn't have been more wrong. Staff were friendly and gave us all the infomation i needed efficiently. Hotel was spotless. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was great. all the usual options and with full english, veggie and continental options included as well, and waffles with cream for my daughter. Using local sausages and eggs.. fabulous

This hotel is fine, but is looking a bit dated and could do with a refresh. I found getting to sleep more difficult because I was in a room with one of the exterior floodlights just outside the window, so the room was much lighter than I would have liked. I can't fault the staff - very cheerful and attentive.

The hotel is a ugly from the road. In fairness the lobby and communal areas are well presented and clean. The Owners are keen fish enthusiasts- there being 3/4 aquariums and a koi pond. The road is a little noisy at night. The room we occupied was dated and the beds were old and saggy. The room was clean.

Phoned ahead a couple of days beforehand as and for a top floor room at a quiet end of the corridor but unfortunately we got given a middle floor room with a herd of elephants up above us. The room itself though dated was cosy, comfortable and spacious and we have stayed a couple of times before so knew what to expect it’s just a shame the stompers above made so much noise.

The hotel itself is quite large with plenty of rooms but a bit outdated. Outside needs a splash of paint as its a very strange colour pink and inside a revamp. Our room was spacious but the tv was so tiny and old which was mounted on far right hand corner of the room that you can hardly see it lol Also stains were on the ceiling boards which looked like they were on the verge of falling off any time soon. What was MOST annoying was that we were woken up by a cleaner knocking on our door, then proceeded to open with a key at 8.30am to clean it whilst we were still in bed, when we only arrived the day before late afternoon so couldnt have been dirty overnight, and we were booking out at 11am anyway that same morning. So why on earth couldnt the cleaner just waited until after we left to clean our room??? Please design 'do not disturb' signs so that we can hang oitside our room doors in future, please. Also so sweeteners would have been handy to have in room as well as sugar. Shower was nice and also plently of pillows privided. Breakfast was on the small size but nice, although staff seating us to our table was abrupt and not very friendly.

Hotel advertised free breakfast. I went down for breakfast on Saturday at ,8.30. The staff said to await breakfast order to be taken. Half hour later I left because the staff ignored me. May be I looked odd. Old or something.

We have stayed here many times and will continue to be regular visitors to this hotel as it's well located with ample parking. In addition it is a very comfortable, and warm hotel. The staff are always friendly and the hotel itself represents great value.

I arrived as it was getting dark and the exterior of the hotel did not inspire! Very tatty cat park to drive through with no lighting before reaching the main entrance. Inside the reception is a little tired but the staff are really friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious and comfortable airgun the tv was very small given the Suze of the room. Bathroom was clean with a big shower cubicle. Didn't use the bar, but the restaurant was very quiet for dinner. Fairly extensive menu - food was good. Breakfast was limited but ok. If I return to the area, I will stay again as the venue as a whole represents excellent VFM.

I arrived as it was getting dark and the exterior of the hotel did not inspire! Very tatty cat park to drive through with no lighting before reaching the main entrance. Inside the reception is a little tired but the staff are really friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious and comfortable airgun the tv was very small given the Suze of the room. Bathroom was clean with a big shower cubicle. Didn't use the bar, but the restaurant was very quiet for dinner. Fairly extensive menu - food was good. Breakfast was limited but ok. If I return to the area, I will stay again as the venue as a whole represents excellent VFM.

The hotel has a very old-school vibe with dated decor throughout. While the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms surprisingly spacious, the overall feel is quite outdated—especially the tiny TVs which felt like a blast from the past. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, but the breakfast experience was disappointing: the selection was limited and the breakfast staff were quite rude. After the first morning, we chose to eat at Wetherspoons instead. Wouldn’t stay again, but it’s passable if you just need a place to sleep for the night.

Good value as breakfast included in nightly rate. Offered a mediocre vegetarian option. Free parking which was helpful. Dated decor and rooms. My room had wallpsper lifting kn a corner (due to damp?) Twice I requested a room change to a room overlooking garden, fishpond and fountain. Twice yhe lady never bothered to check. Just offered excuses that they had coach tours who had booked a year in advance do they had the nicer rooms. HOWEVER. They gave the room across the hall from mine that did overlook the pond, etc to a young couple with a dog that showed up 2 nights after I had asked. They were not from any coach group as the coaches were elderly oeople. Employee coukd not be bothered to check and change my room. Just blew me off. For yhis reason I woukd not return.

Extremely Friendly helpful staff , great value for money for both accomadtion and food offering . Plenty of parking available . Yes the hotel is an older style and in need of some refurbishment but that is reflected in the price you are paying ,excellent value for money . We had a lovely stay and were made very welcome . If in the area again we would return .

Stayed here for one night and arrived early, but the lovely lady on reception checked my room was ready and let me check in. Clean, comfy bed, good shower, and a nice bar where they had the football on. Breakfast in the morning was really good too. Will definitely choose this hotel over the 'chain' hotels I've tried in the area next time!

The initial arrival to the hotel wasn't impressive, through an overgrown car park with cordoned off areas of rubble but the parking outside the hotel itself was fine. Service was decent and the rooms were a good size and recently refurbished. There was a good sized desk and wifi performance was good. Breakfast was fine with both a buffet selection for cold choices and a menu to order cooked options. The hotel is on a main road but a few minuted walk is the REME museum and there are plenty of dining options within 5-10 minutes walk too. Very good value.

Very convenient location for visiting Chatham Dockyards & R.E. Museum. Interior, rooms and garden much better looking than initial carpark 60's motel appearance. Light and airy bedroom and bathroom. Single glazed so you might want to ask for a room garden side, away from busy Brompton Road though it is set back.Good size carpark. Decent bar and dining room areas, with unexpected and excellent local singer providing evening entertainment, though this may have been linked to the Dutch coach trips overnight stop. Quaint, privately run hotel, with many returning guests; adapted from original NAAFI site and still catering to corporate events for local military reunions. Would be happy to book again in prefence to chain hotels.

The shower was dirty. The access from the road was unclear, we drove past twice because we had to drive through what appeared to be a building site to get to the car park. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast bacon was uneatable.

They have a small English breakfast and a choice of others. The twin room was large and had a long area for eating snacks and making drinks. The roomy bathroom and the large shower was no messing, just on off and temperature, which stayed constant. The Hunter's chicken was the best I had ever had. Excellent staff, excellent dining, for a three star hotel it is above and beyond.

We had such a welcome from all staff. Our evening meals brilliant. First mornings breakfast very good second not so good. Gristle in bacon poached egg tasted vinegary couldn't eat it. Overall enjoyed our stay and would come again

Signs for parking not great as it looks like a derelict car park on entering until you get round to the hotel. The grinding of the lift could be heard in my room every time it was used, TV was the size of an iPad. The WiFi didn’t work consistently. Shower pressure low. I had to wait 25 minutes for my breakfast. Even then I had to ask. I was told chef was sorting the delivery. The toast had hardly touched the toaster. Plus factor bedding was great. Not an overall great experience.

Stayed here to break up the journey driving from France to Manchester and chose it largely based on price so I wasn't expecting much and therefore was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, rooms were a good size, beds really comfy and staff welcoming and professional. Kids loved the fishtanks, a great touch. Breakfast was really busy at 9am but the staff worked hard. Cereal, toast, coffee and a full English were all had. My only criticisms are that the room was a bit dated and the bathroom needs a facelift. The shower was powerful enough but the showerhead was fixed and low (I'm only 6ft) so a bit awkward. The tv is small and far away from the bed but that's just me being picky. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely stay here.

The price’s good for the location of hotel and with free parking as very convenient. The staff’s helpful. Breakfast’s so far so good, not too bad, however, we can’t complain anything as the breakfast’s included.

The staff were very helpful and at breakfast on the first day I asked for an English breakfast but without the Cumberland sausage. The server suggested an extra slice of bacon instead, which was very welcome.. Sadly, a different server on the second day did not make the same offer and I didn't ask. The displays of marine tropical fish are beautiful and I could have watched them all day
