Opul Boutique at Admiral House

The room was clean and comfortable and convenient to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed being right on the promenade - right across the street from the Bee Gees statue! Parking on the promenade was a bit hit or miss. It's free from 6 pm to 10 am. We did have to park in a pay lot one night that cost £10. The only temporary problem was that it was noisy in the morning due to the construction of a building next door and work in the hotel's pub that was below us.

We visited for a long weekend, the hotel was serviceable but could do with renovation to make it a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was very good and location on the front is nice. However if you’re staying on the weekend, get a sea view room, otherwise you will be kept awake by the extremely loud music and antics from the Wetherspoons beside the hotel.

Nice large room. Bay window Excellent location for getting round! We had an en-suite- slightly dated! Shower was good. Bath taps didn’t work but that was not an issue unless one needed to use the bath. Could do with some refreshing! Stocked well with a proper coffee machine and pods, electric kettle. Even a fan! Clean towels. Rooms aren’t made up daily, but then it was good value with my points. Lots of restaurants one could walk to for dinner! Breakfast was available but not included in the price of our room. Location was great. Just by the ferry terminal! Unfortunately there was a bus strike so can’t comment on other travel!
