C'est la première déception au bout d'un voyage de 2 semaines. Le niveau de propreté de chaque endroit en Islande est irréprochable et nous tombons pour la première fois dans une maison d'hôtes mal entretenue dont la propreté laisse à désirer, on se demande même pourquoi on doit enlever ses chaussures à l'entrée. Et le clou du spectacle est la literie non changée à notre arrivée. D'autres résidents ont observé la même chose. Quelques cookies nous ont été offerts ce matin contre un avis honnête en fin de séjour. Le voici ! On ne recommande pas

Very clean room with clean linens. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were usually left a cluttered, wet mess by a large group of other guests, who made a tremendous amount of noise until very late each night. The decor was oddly… eclectic… but interesting. Walking to the hotel for breakfast wasn’t a problem, and the food was delicious. We caught an unexpected aurora one night, and stayed outside for 2 full hours. (Could have used another layer, though.) We were worried about the mid-August nautical twilight interfering, but the photos were amazing!

This place was gross! Filthy carpet, holes in the wall, peeling paint. I'm thin and I could hardly fit in the WC.

Basic, clean, quaint and in a great location. We lived the old historic property. And the breakfast buffet at the main site was extensive and very good.
