Nous avons payé une chambre avec vue sur l'ocean mais on le voyait seulement entre deux maisons. Les chambres étaient très vieilles et tres mal insonorisées. La moitié des lumières ne fonctionnait pas. La fenêtre ne fermait pas correctement. Pzrsonne

This is an adorable older property, located within a gorgeous residential neighborhood. And cones with views of the Atlantic! I felt like I stepped back in time. The restaurant is fabulous as well. I had a wonderful stay.

When I went to check-in, there was no one at reception and the place was dark. There was a note on the front door that the restaurant was closed for a week and that there would be minimal facilities available. There was another couple there from Scotland who were left with the same problem..I rang the number and finally a man arrived to take me to a room on the second floor. No elevator but he did help me with my bags. The room was adequate but the airconditioner sounded like a plane taking off all night. There was nothing in the vending machine. I used Uber to order a meal as there are no restaurants nearby. I left early the next morning. Unfortunately I could not recommend this hotel as they had not let me know of their closure so I could have booked elsewhere. This is the first bad review I have ever made in many years of travelling with Hotels.com.

Staff were great and room was very spacious and clean, couple of things didn't work but we weren't too bothered, in a residential area but very nice. Food was great too

Winthrop When I booked this I thought what a charming place. And it is but things you need to know I wasn’t aware of. There is no elevator for a 3 story building. After a certain hour there is no one working at the front desk. In fact there is no phone # to call anyone either. There is no phone in your room either. Although the confirmation said the bed was queen it was tiny, squeaky, and very hard. The AC worked great and the restaurant was delish. Loved that they had 2 bottles of water in the room for us. Went to make coffee but there is no creamer. Couldn’t call anyone as no is there to request it. The room was clean and felt like I was visiting my great aunt’s house. There was only one small bedside lamp. Three lights in the bathroom. And there was suppose to be a hairdryer in the room but there wasn’t. But again no one to call. Leaving was very creepy. You’re exiting the restaurant and no one is there. They use codes for all doors which is a nice thing but if you forget the code who do you call? Staff was very nice. The only entrance to the hotel is by stairs. A young man sat at the top (a valet I think) and opened the door for anyone coming in but did not offer to help with our 3 bags up those entrance stairs.
