The room was flooding from the rain, there was no hot water in shower, the paint was peeling off the walls. In the breakfast area, it was also flooding, the chairs were all peeling vinyl. The entrance door was loudly squeaking every time it opened and shut. The walls are warped and bowing in the main entrance. Very run down.

The property was convenient because we were there for Parent Weekend at Coastal Carolina University. Staff was welcoming and attentive. The pool area was clean and well-maintained. The property is in need of some updates such as carpets and some minor maintenance (shower head was not stable and some other damage in the bathroom), but overall pretty clean.

The 3rd floor hall carpet needs replaced. Ice machine on 3rd fl not woorking. Impossible to get heat to cycle on/off. Electricity turned off prior to check out time so we had to pack by flashlight. Breakfast buffet not replenished before 730. Wobbley table in breakfast area. Would not stay here again

This was horrible. The bath tub was disgusting. There was actual blood on the wall that my daughter didn't point out until we were leaving. There were at least two instances where I seen roaches. With an 11 am check out house keeping just walked in at 9 am. Not sure if she knocked because everyone was still sleep. I'm pretty sure Comfort Suites is a no for me anywhere I ever go. We only came because Coastal Carolina is recruiting my son. God forbid that this hotel stay influences his decision. The rates were decent but I absolutely feel that I over paid. If I didn't bring the whole family I would've been better off sleeping in the car.

Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here, even if it’s the best price on your search. We found a bedbug on the bed in the first room they gave us. They changed our room but did nothing for our inconvenience and the disgust we were feeling having to remain there for the night. Additionally, the rooms were old and run down. The hallway carpets were completely stained. The front desk staff were not pleasant or terribly apologetic of the bed bug situation. We will never stay at a comfort one property again.

Our room had a stale smell that was really bad. My two boys were excited to see their first ever cockroach which was in our room. My wife and daughter were not so much… We stuck it out after killing the roach and spraying the room down with febreeze but wet almost asked for a different room.

Check-in was quick and easy. This motel was clean and we'll kept. They usually kept a dispenser with ice cold water with lemons in the lobby for all to access. Our rooms were spacious and clean. There are several eateries nearby with in walking distance. This motel is also located within minutes of shopping areas and Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay near Myrtle Beach.

The cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch. The bed was comfy. Our room was directly across from the elevator, so we heard every conversation of folks waiting for the elevator. Our door was hard to open and shut. The room had a terrible odor so I had to go buy some room freshener. The AC unit was noisy. We had a drip outside our window from the heavy rain that was loud hitting the sill. This property needs to be updated.

We stayed here due to proximity to Coastal Carolina University. The room itself wasn’t bad, but the bathroom was in terrible condition. The grout around the tub was old. The pipes under the sink were exposed. The paint on the bathroom door was chipped. There were small annoyances like the orange light on the phone always blinked. When I asked about it at the front desk, he said the phones were being fixed. I threw a washcloth over the phone so the blinking light wouldn’t keep us up. Breakfast was decent. For a future visit, I’d spend a little more money and not stay here.

Well if you are over 5'6, forget washing your hair. The shower head was too low, and the shower curtain was hung too high. The beds were comfortable. Our room was on the quiet side of the building. I was afraid about the room after we walked down a hallway that needs repairing. Expensive for what it was.

They had no room keys. Had to unlock our door every time we came and went and never checked our ID. Would not give us credit because we went through Expedia and didn’t book with them. So we won’t get any credit? Unreal Expedia shouldn’t use them or help us get a credit for total inconvenience for 4 days.

It was a great stay. Only small issue was when checking in, i had to make two trips back down to front desk because my key wouldnt work. The man working was very kind my whole stay. His kindness made our stay a great stay. The other two that worked the front desk were kind as well.

Front desk person had poor general communication skills and wasn’t friendly at check in. Room was in need of lots of repairs. Chair was obviously ready for the trash . Numerous incomplete paint jobs being done. Toilet stopped up at 11 pm and a plunger wasn’t brought up until 10 am

Nice sized room. Clean. Quick walk to fast food food or short drive to sit down restaurants for a bite to eat. Right on the highway, but did not notice any traffic noise in the room.

Check-in was quick and easy. This motel was clean and we'll kept. They usually kept a dispenser with ice cold water with lemons in the lobby for all to access. Our rooms were spacious and clean. There are several eateries nearby with in walking distance. This motel is also located within minutes of shopping areas and Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay near Myrtle Beach.

The room is very clean. The area that is located is not what I expected and there is a drive-through cookout directly across from our bedroom window that you can hear order is being taken from.

It was convenient since we were attending the baseball tournament at coastal Carolina. Maybe add a better sign near the road so people can see the entrance drive better.

Comfortable, clean,friendly staff and a great breakfast. Room was large and the bed was so comfortable. I would stay there again.

Good stay primarily just spend the evenings. Most of the day was spent out at the beach hanging out. We had an issue with the bathroom but they quickly came and fixed it. Great location to Myrtle Beach only about 18 minutes away so it was nice to stay away from the crowd would stay here again. Breakfast was the same thing every day biscuit sausage, eggs called cereal, coffee oatmeal waffles.

Breakfast was good, nothing major but the basics like juice, coffee, muffins,oatmeal, cereal, yogurts etc. The room was decent. Clean and had everything we needed. Carpets were old and bathroom could use some updates. Bed was comfortable. Ac worked great. Pool was nice. Small but we enjoyed it. The staff seems to be on top of things. Pool was getting cleaned and temperature checked on which was nice to see. Overall this hotel is good/adequate. It’s nothing fancy but it’s clean and in a decent location.

Checked in 9PM. 1st room no hot water. 2nd room had a soaked bath mat over tub edge,phone did not work. No other rooms available. Breakfast below average.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and was very tasty. Coffee was impressively good which is not the case in most hotels. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Hotel is worn out i.e. carpet needs replaced throughout, all furniture dinged up etc. As soon as I walked into the room there was a strong sent of lemon scented pinesol. Everything (that I used) in the room worked i.e. the lights, tv, ac unit, shower etc. Everything in the room appeared clean to me. The location was convenient and in what seemed to be a good area of town close to many food and gas businesses.Over all I was satisfied with my stay. I really enjoyed the free breakfast and for the price you really can't beat it.

This Comfort Inn far exceeded my expectations. Not only were the rooms clean and the service good but the Inn served the best hot breakfast you can find anywhere. This was the first night of an 7-day trip that included hotels that one might think would be rated higher, however the room and the breakfast were the best of the trip.

It was terrible. Hotel needs to be plowed over. Person at front desk was really lazy. Never got up from the chair, it was like we (the guest) were bothering him. Even the person in front of noticed.. got to the room , noticed a ratting noisy. The cover over the HVAC unit was all broken up . I tried and put items on it so it would not rattle so much. The floor under the unit was wet. Went down stairs to ask to have somebody to come up and fix the cover. He gave me white duck tape and said try and tape it up because, he was the only one there. I tried and gave up because I ran out of tape. Asked to be moved, which he did. The room we moved into was not much better.Holes in the wall in the bathroom. Carpet wet in the room. Felt dirty. Did not take off our socks. Got to use the bathroom and stepped on something that crunched. I was going to be there three more night. No way, we checked out the next morning. Do not books this hotel.
