The room on the 3rd floor is spacious and clean. I could hear the noise next door and plenty of flies outside our room and saw two flies in our room. We did find any parking near the hotel - had to park on street - 5 min walk

To be positive about the hotel, the receptionist was helpful, the room was spacious, it had eating and drinking facilities and it was in a good location. However parking was not close by and the bed was too soft for our comfort.

My stay was great. The little room #10 is clean and well appointed. It’s an accessible room, which is great. Although the water from the shower frequently went everywhere because the shower drain didn’t clear quick enough. You just learn to run a slower shower though :) Hosts were great and quickly fixed the batteries in the AC remote. Room was toasty and bed was super comfy. Easy walk to town and to the Pilgrim office for those on the Camino. Only a short walk to the start!

La chambre était simple et propre conforme à mes attentes pour ce type de tarif, mais l’insonorisation des chambres est déplorable, on a l’impression de dormir dans un dortoir. Les bruits des écoulements + les discussions des voisins comme si ils étaient dans votre chambre. Non merci je ne recommande pas dommage, le cadre est très agréable.

A fantastic location and a beautiful view of the mountains from just outside the door. My room was lovely. If there’s nobody around when you first arrive, don’t worry- just wait a minute or two and someone will be along to help you. Very easy to check in and out. I had 2 nights here and really glad I stayed here.

Great stay, it was roomy, had great AC, very clean . We were only there one night, and ate out, but there is a small kitchen w stove top only, which is great if you are staying a while. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The village is amazing!

Villa Esponda was the perfect place to begin our Camino! The room was beautiful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, and the location was ideal for exploring Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. After a long travel day, it was exactly the peaceful, welcoming place we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend it to other pilgrims!

Staff was super accommodating by WhatsApp, barely saw them in person but didn't need them either. Location is superb, walk anywhere in SJPdP, not a problem at all. For a leaping off point, no complaints whatsoever. Stay a day or three, no worries.
