Great beach access very close. Ocean view from the rooms. Fire pit, hot tub and indoor pool. Very friendly staff. All the guests were very friendly also. Had a great time. Dog friendly as a reminder for next time. The fan for the stove didn’t work and set off the fire alarm. But all good.

It was an amazing stay, the only issues we had were there not being any extra locks on any of the doors and then the pool seemed to have algae on the bottom. Other than that it's a lovely little motel.

The hot tub was not working, which was one of the main reasons this location was chosen, so we were pretty disappointed. The only consolation offered was the fact that the pool and hot tub were still available, the hot tub just didn't get hot.

A very nice place to stay right on the beach with a view from the room and a little balcony to sit on. A nice little kitchenette in the very roomy room. Cutely decorated and very modern. A short walk across the lawn to the beach. The hot tub was very relaxing.

Silver Surf has a wonderful property with stunning views. The rooms are quite spacious, which was a nice surprise! The couches in the room were very comfortable and they have a massive DVD library to borrow from, which was neat for our kids to see how 'old people' watch movies. Breakfast/coffee in the morning does not start until 8AM and there is only one small urn of coffee, which became quite clogged as the rush of people tried to get their morning coffee. Would be great if there if there 2 urns of coffee and if the coffee portion of breakfast started a bit earlier. Would recommend!

Wonderful location with easy access to the beach. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage which was great to be able to prepare meals with our 3 kids. The pool and lawn games were fun. They had popcorn and DVDs to check out. It is an older property and breakfast could have been better, but overall it is great! We would definitely stay here again.

The room was okay. Definitely felt run down. Relatively clean. The carpets need to be cleaned or replaced. There were oblivious stain in the carpet. The window wells were dirty. Curtain rods kept falling off when trying to open the curtains in the bedrooms. A bit overpriced for the bad condition of the room. I won’t stay again.

The room was pretty dirty. The sheets had what looked like pubic hair and blood spots. There was a white goo on the roll of toilet paper as well as a blood mark from someone cleaning their needle. We did ask for fresh sheets, and the lady was very apologetic and gave us fresh sheets. The room had a small kitchen and most of the utensils you would need to cook. They were dirty and so was the dish drainer to dry them in. The walls were dirty as were the light fixtures. And it was dusty. A little more attention to cleaning and this place could be a great reasonable place to stay. We had a death in the family so we were in and out and did not have time to address all concerns with the staff. My husband did send an email explaining what we had experienced. With no reply.

We came to what we thought was a quaint motel by the sea. We were greeted by a run down in need of TLC cottage with a very strong unpleasant odor. We opened all the windows and thought fresh ocean air would do the trick. We met our family for a birthday dinner and spent 3 hours away from the cottage. On arrival back to the cottage the odor was still present and on further investigation found to be coming from the couches. We also found the floors to be very dirty and to say the beds were old and dilapidated is putting it politely. We were unable to sit on the couches and not able to sleep in the bed and incidentally once we pulled back the sheets found sand indicating that the sheets were unchanged from the previous guest. We decided to cut our losses and drive home at 1:30 in the morning, arriving at 4:00 am. We paid over $300.00 with fees. We called the hotel and were told that we needed to contact hotels.com as the hotel had paid a commission to hotels.com and they couldn’t give a refund but would give us a discount on a room. I think I’ll pass!

We had room 25 on the ground level. Parking spot right outside. Spacious, 2queen beds. Wall heater and electric fire. Clean bathroom, good pressure and hot water. Balcony overlooked grass area lead g down to beach. Lovely views of the surf. Hot tub and fire pit. 3 mile drive to town for restaurants and markets.

I requested an ocean view and the sunset did not disappoint! The rooms are themed rooms. I was in the safari room. Fun! The kitchen area was clean and stocked with everything I needed.

The staff was wonderful and took care of our requests quickly and efficiently. The view of the beach from our room was exceptional. We had our own little balcony to watch the sunset. The beach has very easy to access, and we enjoyed many walks there. We had a few things we didn't like about our accommodations: First, the beds. We had two rooms with 6 travelers. Two of our beds were very squeaky, one was so bad the staff had to come and try to adjust it to get it quiet enough to sleep on. The second was there were no dressers in the rooms. We had to live out of our suitcases. Not an ideal situation for 4 people in a room! There is space enough in the room for one, they just don't have any. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and I would recommend it to others wanting a pleasant, well-situated place to stay. They have many other wonderful attributes as well.

Gorgeous view. The shower was hard to operate even with instructions. The room was well kept. The bed was just a little to sift if you prefer a firm matrress i would verify if thst us an option in some rooms. Overall high marks.

Older motel, rooms were very clean. Staff only present until 8 PM. We had a noise issue but no one to report it to after 8 PM. We had no issues the first night, just the second night. Either the walls are super thin or both of us had the balcony door open--it sounded like they were in our room--whistling?!

Both Front desk people were fantastic. Location is good. Views of the beach rooms really nice. The heating system in the room needs to be updated. The Temp outside was in the mid 35 range and it took well over two hours to heat the room. Semi uncomfortable throughout the night as the temperature dropped. I had to leave the room for two hours after I checked in around 3pm and go downtown to let it warm up.

We enjoyed pedaling our bikes to Yachats down the 804 trail to pick up ingredients to make dinner in the room and enjoy the view!. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The gal at the front desk is great! We’ll be back!

Have stayed here a few times, the staff is as friendly as they come, always a nice place to visit

The beach is magnificent! The room was fine and we loved the ocean view. Kitchenette was nice but the signs to store food a certain way and wash dishes or you’ll be assessed $10 were unfriendly. The older woman who checked me in was downright rude. The pool deck has mold and algae. This place has potential but beware the vibes.

We arrived late and had no problems with getting into our room, the staff had texted instructions. The room was clean and beautiful, right on the ocean. It was quiet, we never heard our hotel neighbors even though it looked full based on the cars in the lot. Great place - can't wait to stay there again!

Great beach access very close. Ocean view from the rooms. Fire pit, hot tub and indoor pool. Very friendly staff. All the guests were very friendly also. Had a great time. Dog friendly as a reminder for next time. The fan for the stove didn’t work and set off the fire alarm. But all good.

The room is spacious and has great view, fully equipped. Breakfast is simple but good. Location is great, right new Thor's well and other attractions. The only down side is the mattress, too saggy.

The beach is your backyard at this motel. No stairs to the ocean but is walkable down a few rocks. Given the price, I was suprised to find a full kitchen in our standard room. I was also pleasantly surprised that there was free breakfast. Staff were super friendly. In addition to cable, there was an assortment of DVDs and board games you could check out. Indoor pool was warm and a decent size. Perfect place for us & our kids to be able to explore the Oregon coast while having indoor options should the need arise. Finally, we were just a few minutes from Yachats, which was nice.

This property is about 1 mile from the main areas of Yachats Celtic Festival. It’s quiet, right on the beach, beautiful view from our balcony and listened to the ocean all night long. We’ve stayed there the last couple of years.

Oceanfront motel with balcony and miles of beach to explore. Older property but updated with new flooring, beds, furniture and paint. Indoor pool and hot tub. Nice continental breakfast. Our suite had a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces (electric) and 2 TVs, 2 sofas. Office offered free DVDs, books and games to borrow. Only 1.5 miles to Yachets. Will definitely stay here again! My only suggestion is for them to invest in a memory foam topper for the king bed, it was a bit too firm for me.

The pillows were very flat. The bathroom was very small and the shower was not working properly. The bed was good and the location and view were great. The wifi was very good and the tv was good with lots of channels but the cell connection was pretty poor. The breakfast was very minimal...we went elsewhere. Not our type of lodging.

Loved our stay and recommend it highly for folks who want easy access to the beach area by foot. Rooms comfortable and clean. Parking convenient and breakfast satisfying. Fantastic view of ocean from many rooms. Staff great.

Silver Surf has a wonderful property with stunning views. The rooms are quite spacious, which was a nice surprise! The couches in the room were very comfortable and they have a massive DVD library to borrow from, which was neat for our kids to see how 'old people' watch movies. Breakfast/coffee in the morning does not start until 8AM and there is only one small urn of coffee, which became quite clogged as the rush of people tried to get their morning coffee. Would be great if there if there 2 urns of coffee and if the coffee portion of breakfast started a bit earlier. Would recommend!

Wonderful location with easy access to the beach. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage which was great to be able to prepare meals with our 3 kids. The pool and lawn games were fun. They had popcorn and DVDs to check out. It is an older property and breakfast could have been better, but overall it is great! We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great for us. We were traveling the hwy 101 south and needed a room for one night on the ocean. Hotel was great for our trip. Older hotel but clean & hot coffee!

The motel is older and our room showed it a bit, but it also had everything we needed and was very clean. The whimsical camping decor in the room was better than the usual generic motel "artwork. " But the best part was the balcony with the sweeping view of the beach. Wonderful! The pool looked nice, although we didn't use it. The breakfast was basic but appreciated. The only tiny gripe we had was that the coffee in the room, and at breakfast, wasn't that good. Wish they would up their coffee game a little, but still I would stay there again.
