Checking in and out was very easy and friendly. But the inn itself is very dated. Bed was just ok and pillows awful. Paper thin bath towel. Convenient location to Cal Poly where we came to town to attend the football game. I would not stay here again.

Rundown place, terrible parking and parking lot broken concrete and uneven. Old building. Rooms super small. Broken outlets. Super small bathroom and we stayed in a “suite”. No amenities. Only plus was that it was literally next to freeway entrance.

The place was terrible it has roaches and an extremely hard bed.. I’ll never ever stay there again and don’t recommend it to anyone else. It had lowlifes hanging out in the parking lot late at light being loud.

Clean. Pleasantly surprised they had housekeeping to clean my room. Bathroom door wouldn’t close because shower curtain rod was in the way. Wish I could disable the bathroom motion sensor which turns on the light when I enter. Road noise being so close to 101 entrance.

We had a late check in, and called ahead to make sure it was 1) ok, and 2) to update time of arrival. When we arrived, the night manager(?) was very gruff. He spoke so softly that it was incredibly hard to hear what he was saying, and he was very short with us. Our room was nice. The fridge leaked ice(?) or water(?) all over the floor, so we used hand towels to clean that up. There was a loud "drip" noise that we heard all night- that was frustrating, as we couldn't tell where it was from. Finally, parking was near impossible to obtain- I was only able to park onsite because someone left. I was glad I didn't need to interrupt the night manager for help with that. All in all, it was a fine visit. With a few tweeks, it could be a good visit.

It seems that the property was recently renovated, so old reviews aren’t the best way to gauge the quality of the stay. Despite being right by a freeway, it was quiet and easy to sleep. Everything was clean and the fridge was spacious. The bathroom was a bit small and difficult to walk in and out of, but wasn’t much of a problem for an able bodied person. The only con was that my room’s window was stuck, but I didn’t really need it open.

Nice, comfortable bed and clean room. Simple amenities. Fairly spacious. Competitively priced. Might be nice to offer Netflix or HBO for a few extra dollars a night. Otherwise is very close to downtown and there is a relaxing river visible from the patio towards the end of the parking lot.

Ive been to alotbof hotels in the area and one thing ive noticed is that they never show hospitality and politeness towards their guests. I can honestly say that my stay here was the first time ive recieved any kind of politeness and hospitality from the front desk. He passed no judgment or didnt make me feel like i was expected to be a problem. Ive always been respectful of hotels and never left messes. So there shouldnt ever be a reason for me to feel that way. Point being that he was very kind and treated me like a guest and made me feel welcome. A little kindness goes along way!!!!!

The manager, Nick, is a very nice guy who was super accommodating when we had a problem with our TV. This is one of the nicer budget downtown hotels in SLO. Close to everything, clean, and reasonably updated. I would stay here again.

Overall I enjoyed my stay, although the AC in our room stopped working randomly but staff was very helpful. I was woken up at 2/3AM by people in the next room "accidentally" knocking on our door but I am sure that doesn't happen all the time.

Dont stay here unless you cant find anywhere else to stay . The staff is unkind i booked online check in time is after 3pm i was told my reservation was only going to be held until 630pm gps put us there at 622pm . I have traveled before and usually reservations are good until midnight because of traffic and other issues. The office staff is very rude. The place was dirty and furniture was ran down . Almost like the office staff gave us the worst room on purpose . The outside second floor ealk way is hazardous. Its uneven and weak in certain places .Almost like you can fall through. I seen a bug in the bathroom (baby roach )and im pretty sure the rest of its family was lurking in the walls and furniture. The coffee maker didn't work . Just awful stay . But it was a last minute trip and everything else was booked .lesson learned book ahead in a better hotel .

Dont stay here unless you cant find anywhere else to stay . The staff is unkind i booked online check in time is after 3pm i was told my reservation was only going to be held until 630pm gps put us there at 622pm . I have traveled before and usually reservations are good until midnight because of traffic and other issues. The office staff is very rude. The place was dirty and furniture was ran down . Staff was efficient upon check-in no small talk, just checked in and sent to room. Room was okay. It had an overbearing smell of fabloso, which was still in my clothes when I opened my luggage when I got home, not my favorite smell. There was also some kind of oiliness to the floor of our room. And it didn't seem very clean since the bottom of my socks were filthy from walking around in the room. AC worked well, shower worked well, got a good night's sleep. Definitely an older Inn that needs a lot of updating, but fair price for Labor Day weekend. For 1 night I could handle it, but I wouldn't want to stay there longer.

Overall, give this place a miss. The property was okay, well maintained, but if you’re staying here, make sure you have some rubber boots or galoshes as the carpeting is FILTHY. How hard would it be to rent a carpet cleaner, and take care of this? You know you’re in trouble when housekeeping’s vacuum cleaner is dirtier than the room. ick. At least in my room. And speaking of rooms, I had to change mine because in the first one, there was some kind of weird smell. horrid. To cap this off, the check in guy was one of the more unfriendly people I’ve met. He came off to me like he suspected that I was going to rob the place. Just unfriendly. Hard pass on this place…
