Travelodge by Wyndham Loveland/Fort Collins Area

was dirty, run down and nasty. No services that were advertised like elevator and breakfast. Check-in was fine and was very helpful but not much she could do about the condition of the place. people were checking in and checking out as soon as they saw their rooms. I should have but was non refundable. holes in the walls, one towel for 2 people. fire alarms were non existent were bear wires hanging out of the wall. i have pictures but i dont know how to upload them. was not a nice place and looks bad for hotels.com to even list it on your site. your rating was 3 but should be a "0"

Room poorly maintained -Ceiling fan in bathroom removed and not replaced, one of lamps on side of bed was not plugged in and did not have extension cord because only one outlet was located on wall that lamps were on. I asked for an extension cord from person at front desk and she said she would bring one to room but she never showed up. Also telephone in room was not connected and no visible connection available. Only one bath towel and one wash cloth were available in room when we arrived but no hand towels. I asked at front desk for some hand towels but she said they were out of them so she just gave me another bath towel. Carpeting in room was sticky under feet and apparently was never rinsed after cleaning. Controls for heater/air conditioner were unreadable so I could never figure out how to set controls but had to guess, All in all I would rate this property as 3 out 10 and state that it is being poorly maintained and was definitely not worth $142 a night that we paid to rent it.

Onlt 3rd floor was available to stay, 1st and 2nd were residents. No elevator. 3 times the key didn't work. My 80 year old husband went up and dow the stairs trying to get a key that worked. Once we moved in the bathroom was not cleaned and no towels, and the A/C didn't work. The property and room was so dirty and rundown we refused to even stay one night.

The doors to the rooms did not engage when they were shut on 2 seperate rooms. 1 room had a broken a/c unit. 1 room had a tv wall mounted that almost fell on my head and would not turn off unless i physically unplugged it. The pillows are basically throw pillows. The bathtub floor was stained black with hair clogging the drain. But the staff was accomedating and got me into a room after 3 tries.

The actual building itself was ancient and decrepit. Once I checked in I was told there was no elevator(which may be a violation of the ADA?) I went to my room and as I opened the door a wall of cigarette smoke hit me. Gross, but also the hotel is non smoking. I was dog tired from travel so I took a shower and noticed that the shampoo/conditioner bottles were empty, and there were product stickers stuck to the door frame, meaning the room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. I told the front desk staff who moved me rooms to the 3rd floor. No elevator was problematic, as I’m a disabled veteran, but I sucked it up and went up there anyway. The room was obviously dilapidated, but cleaner than the previous one. Over the next few days of my stay I noticed 1) the door had been kicked in and filled with drywall mud? 2) the desk/chair upholstery/ phone were nasty and covered in stains 3) the linens were stained 4) found a corn dog stick near the bed on the floor 5) the door cards deactivated every day so you had to get them deactivated- that means more up and down the stairs and 6) on the second to last day of my stay I noticed there was NO SMOKE ALARM. I told the front desk and she said they had put in multiple service requests and they hadn’t done anything about it in months, and that I shouldn’t even be in that room. Still didn’t get moved. So yeah 0/10 would not recommend.

Old carpet was very sticky, had 1set of towels, window curtain was missing several hooks, mold on the shower curtain, furniture was old brown with several chunks missing on finish, chair was so dirty you didn’t want to sit on it or even look at it. The bed was clean and comfortable but had 3 pillows. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very pleasant. For $140, we expected at least an elevator since we where put on the 3rd floor

Had to go to the front desk to reactivate the key card each time we returned to our room. Huge inconvenience while carrying items and multiple small children with you.

TV didn't work; asked front desk for help; he said he'd be by shortly; never showed up. Phone was dead.

The staff was really friendly. The smoke detector in our room was covered with a plastic bag and apparently had been disabled or vandalized. Towels were in short supply. The bathroom was not terribly clean and there was an interesting collection of trash and other items under the bed.

Cleanliness was horrible. Only one towel. No cups. Bathroom floor very sticky. Hair dryer unit dirty. Shower curtain and sheet stained. Room air conditioner so pound with regular “clunks”. On plus side, check in employee was extremely helpful with some special needs I had. She was intelligent and kind.

This hotel was beyond disgusting and absolutely filthy! Horrible smell throughout. Mold in the bathroom. A thick sticky film on everything in the room. Chairs filthy, we put a towel down to sit on, when we picked it up it was black underneath. Sheets and pillows stained. Cigarette burns in the shower curtain. We had no towels, TP, Kleenex, ice bucket in our room. There’s 5 years of filth under the bed. Never took our shoes off and slept in our clothes on top of the bed. We have never felt so dirty after being here. It’s a total disgrace to the Wyndham name. NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

Bed linens were dirty and stained. Make up on pillowcases. Several electrical outlets but only one worked. No tv remote. TURN LOCK ON DOOR MISSING! I put a chair in front of the door for security and only stayed cause i had a dog with for protection!! Pictures with time stamp available.

The rooms smelt of urine, there was trash/clothes under the bed, the bedding was torn and stained, there was no smoke detector, but rather exposed wiring, and black sit up the wall. The rooms were so awful we only stayed long enough to check out after having checked in!

Only had 1 towel for 4 people, front desk said they didn't have any and I should go ask the hotel next door. Comforters were stained. Mini fridge was broken. TV didn't allow us to change channels.

The front desk clerk was courteous and tried to be helpful but the hotel itself was terrible! The amenities listed were not there (no breakfast, no sauna or pool, etc...) though we were allowed to go to the hotel next door for pool. The room smelled of urine, the carpet was damp in places, and the sheets and towels were stained. When my husband and I arrived there was only one towel in our room and my husband had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes for towels to "come out of the dryer". For the price ($150 per night), this place is more what one would expect from a shabby Motel 6 which had not been upgraded since the '70s.

The parking lot had a bunch of vagrants walking around and goofing around. Our room smelled like an ashtray and the hallways just reeked of marijuana smoke. This is supposed to be a 100% smoke free hotel. The floor in our room had not been vacuumed at all and was covered with dog hair and filth. Our bed skirt was covered in stains. Our sheets had a blood stain on them, multiple other stains and dog hair. The pillows were old and falling apart. The pillow cases were completely stained and wouldn’t pass for rags. The furniture in the room was all beaten up and wouldn’t work properly. There was leftover food left in the refrigerator. The bathroom was old and outdated. The tub was stained and not clean. There was only one towel in the bathroom and was disgusting and stained. When I went to the front desk to get more towels the employee was outside smoking and asked me to come back in 20 minutes. The towels I was eventually given were just as stained and disgusting. My wife refused to sleep under the covers and barely slept at all. There wasn’t even a phone in the room to call the desk to complain or get assistance. The website is completely misleading. All of the pics were definitely taken the day the hotel opened and never updated. Expedia should remove this hotel from their site.

People were partying and shooting on the first night. It was through out the night. On the second night two people (wife and husband) were fighting and shouting. It’s more like an apartment complex more than a hotel. Room was very dirty. Do not recommend this place for anyone who expect to stay at a decent place.

The staff was very attentive, and the location was perfect. However, the accommodations were out of date. Definitely needs to be updated with carpeting, decor, coffe bar area

The amount you pay for the stay is comparably accurate. Everything in the hotel is dated and needs repair, paint, or replacement. The beds are comfortable but they need to replaced.

The bed was horribly uncomfortable, the bathtub was stained, no elevator, you could hear traffic zooming by at all hours of the night. Will never stay here again and am considering never staying at a Travelodge again in general.

it was nice and cozy, right by the road so rather loud but that’s expected. we paid 65 bucks for the room so i won’t get on here and bash and stains on towels or sheets bc tbh if it’s gonna be that cheap it’s not gonna be no holiday inn 😂😂. 8/10 would probably stay again just on how nice the staff is and how comfy the bed was !

Front desk staff were all super friendly and helpful, but this hotel has certainly seen better days, everything about it is old and worn. On the whole, everything in our room was functional, it was a decent size, & it was acceptably clean: all surfaces had wiped down including fridge & microwave, bed linens seemed clean but with some stains, bathroom was clean, and most importantly no bed bugs. The negatives for our room were crappy pillows, stained carpet, two people staying but only one set of towels provided in their broken towel rack, & walls were all deeply scratched up. We stayed with our dog, there's no designated potty spot, but patches of rocks all around the parking lot that we used, also a big park pretty close by that we did walks at. Good price for the proximity to Rocky Mountain NP.

The motel needs to be remodeled very soon. The tv didnt work when I checked in. Just a place to get some sleep

I would rate this one star, but the staff was truly wonderful. The room and hotel itself were among the dirtiest I’ve ever been in. My wife and I couldn’t sleep because we honestly were concerned the entire time about bed bugs. There was food under the bed, it was never cleaned as far as we could tell. All that being said, the staff was phenomenal and nice. Went out of their way to help when I had a family emergency and had to leave a day early. Genuinely great staff, but I’d avoid this hotel.

Reviewing the info on the Travelodge did not compare to our actual stay. My husband is disabled but not needing a w/c. He had to climb steps going up or coming down. There was no floor level. We got a double bed instead of a queen but the nice male at the desk was very helpful & got us what we needed.

The front desk was incredibly nice and let us check in early in room 306. She could have made us wait, but instead found a room that just needed towels and got us all set. INCREDIBLE staff there!!

The motel is severely short staffed. They don’t have enough people to clean all the rooms so we had to wait 2.5 hours past check in time. Then they don’t have enough towels and floor mats for everyone, and what they do have is stained and not well cleaned. The bathtub drain is clogged after just a minute of shower. The TV doesn’t work. But the bed and pillows themselves are adequate. Overall, it’s a really old property that’s not very well maintained and not very clean.

What I want to recognize first is the lady at the front desk. I didn’t get her name unfortunately, but she was incredibly polite and helpful. I reserved a room online that some how got double booked, so we had to change rooms and she offered several options to make the booking mistake right for us. Thank you for that!! The physical condition of the room we were in was pretty sad. Torn up carpet, busted tiles, dirty carpet… but, the bedding, all surfaces, bathroom, and linens were clean. My family was comfortable for one night here. Breakfast - meh. No milk, and minimal choice for breakfast food. Definitely think this is an area for improvement. WiFi - worked great! I’m an online student and had no lag while working on homework. Overall, I’d stay here again.

Overall, it was okay. The room seemed to be clean, but there was a musty smell when you came into the room. The furniture has seen better days for sure. The room didn't have a coffee maker or a hair dryer, but we've seen a few in a utility closet in the hallway, so I assume that if we wanted/needed one, we could have asked for it. We only had 3 towels in the room; 2 large and one medium. I assume that we could have asked for more if we needed, but it would have been nice to have at least another small one and a couple of wash towels. The windows didn't block the outside noise, but they did have blackout curtains. The bathroom was clean, but it was old and stained. We didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but they did have coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. There is no elevator on this property, so get ready to use the stairs if you get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Check-in is precisely at 3 pm and not a moment sooner. We arrived at 2, and they said they couldn't check us in because they were fully booked and none of the king-sized rooms were ready. We didn't fuss because we went to grab something to eat, but really, none of them?? The location was good overall, and our stay was pleasant regardless, but for the price of this room, I would have expected a better mattress and overall an updated room.

Ooooof…. Good for the price of course. Ice, restrooms in halls, friendly staff. but holy cow. Real nasty room. Maybe it’s just the gross massive vomit looking stain on the wall or the extremely dirty carpets. Regardless, cheap and in a good area of walking distance to stuff, and quiet!

The front desk woman was great but the property is run-down - shabby, worn out carpet, and our deadbolt didn’t work (we still had the “flipper” that won’t let the door be opened). We arrived very late, just after 3am, and there were people standing around idle in the lot, also a truck pulled up and was talking to a woman in the lot… at 3am… On the plus side, the room had a fridge and was inexpensive. We only stayed til about 10:30, but I wouldn’t stay again probably.

Do not stay here! My friends and I went to Loveland for a girl’s night out. From the moment we arrived, there were trailers in the parking lots. Grocery carts were outside along the walls. A homeless man was yelling random words at us. A creepy man let us into the hotel. We walked in and everything looked old. We checked in and the front desk clerk seemed like she hated her job. Don’t blame her! We had a room on the first floor. The hallway smelled awful like mildew and urine. There was a random restroom in the middle of the hall. We entered our room and there was a strong odor that we think housekeepers sprayed something to cover up. We put our luggage down and went next door to eat at the Mexican restaurant. We all had a bad feeling to stay at the hotel so after dinner we walked back. We thought we were going to get mugged! Another homeless person yelled at us while creepy people opened their hotel windows to look at us. We got our luggage and while walking out of the room, we noticed gross stains on the wall. More creepy people were walking down the halls and we checked out of the hotel without staying. We booked another hotel! We believe that the Travelodge is basically a crackhouse and needs to be shutdown to be renovated!!!

There were only 1 towel in the room, front desk had to get the towels from the neighboring hotel and soap provided was also 1 only. Breakfast was not there, they told they cancelled the breakfast a month back and didn't inform. Bathroom sink plug was open and you can see all the gunk from the pipe, it was disgusting.

Room 216...awful, no towels , bedding was dirty and stained. Asked front desk foe new sheets and towels and she said everything was in the wash. Furniture was damaged and broken. None of the lamps worked except for one. Walls were beat up. No elevator to bring in luggage. Said online that it had breakfast and was in the picture but there was none. My husband and I stayed in 7 hotel rooms while visiting Wyoming and Colorado and this was by far the worst. I am not sure what the other rooms were like but ours was not good and it was a nice area to visit. I don't get it.

the air conditioner is working part time and only one set of towels per room and you have to ask for another if you want, which is ridiculous . The breakfast was great.
